Printer worked for one hour only
Printer worked for one hour only. I bought the latest printer from Hewlett Packard (HP), and after much difficulty managed to set it up - it printed two photos, and has never worked again. I have spent hours trying to make it function. It said it was printing and made noises like printing but spat out blank paper again and again. I got several of my techy friends to try to make it work and we all failed. I was also bombarded with pressure to sign up for expensive regular cartridge delivery. I ended up giving it to Oxfam. I strongly advise against getting this product.

POOR customer service NO; NON-EXISTENT customer service YES!As the owner of a HP laptop
As the owner of a HP laptop, it was essential that I bought a HP USB-C to RJ45 Adapter to increase the internet speed on the ground floor of my home. On visiting the HP website, I saw 2 versions which looked similar however, 2 different prices were being quoted. Consequently, I created a personal HP Account and though I requested to buy 1 when I continued to check-out, I was being charged for 2. I invested considerable time searching the web for either a phone number or email address to contact HP personnel alas all phone numbers were either continuously engaged or non-operational. I posted a letter to the HP Office in Glasgow using Royal Mail Signed For so, I received visual proof of delivery. Within the letter I explained my purchase problems and suggested a date and time when I would be available to speak to an HP representative; the reason for suggesting a date and time is because I am a physically disabled person. HP personnel ignored my suggested date and time. Later, on the same date, when I tried to enter my HP Account I was consistently denied access! Poor customer service NO; NON-EXISTENT customer service YES!

I had an Envy 5530 for many years but after upgrading to Windows 11 I had major problems where my pc wouldn't connect to the printer. My pc is ethernet wired to the router but the printer was wifi. I though it must just be old so I uopgraded to an inspire 7200e series. Guess what? Still cant get my computer to print, cant get software to install no matter what I do. I been trying to get an answer for weeks and weeks. Customer service/technical suport are completely clueless and useless. DO NOT BUY IF YOU ARE ON WINDOWS 11!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Get another brand instead! I'm stuck with a useless printer I can't take back to the store.

HP Chromebook 360 is GARBAGE
I bought an HP Chromebook 360 and it's the crappiest computer I've ever owned. HP offers no support for the garbage I go through with this utter waste of money.

I have purchased HP products for 15 years. Not anymore. Delivered to wrong address. Failed to honour cash back. Post sales say they are too busy as staff have been moved to sales. Of review sites they say people just like to complain. When they failed to honour cash back on items over £3000 they suggested order was cancelled - for them to collect - so that I could reorder get a redelivery and get cash back. Post sales saying you have to do this via sales as they are different departments. So many 1 star reviews on here can't be a coincidence. Beware.

worst products, worse support
worst products, worst customer support. If you've been thinking of buying an HP printer or laptop don't bother. Latests products are cheap and nasty, and the Envy6032 printer has not worked properly since the day I bought it. Have had to call for technical support EVERY time I've switched it on. The support system is a dead end to a charged service. This company do not want to take responsibility for their products.

Literally the worst company I've ever…
Literally the worst company I've ever experienced. Their printers are designed to scam you ..Nothing ever works, the computer doesn't work well, printer doesnt work with windows or with WiFi. I lost days trying to set it up then they charge despite never being able to print .Insta ink never prints well yet charges you for each page . Try to talk to anyone is hours of wasted time speaking to 100 bots and 100 systems none of which work . Not only will I avoid them I will also avoid any company that uses them. I'd rather buy a printer from Hitler. The only joy it's given me was when I smashed it to smithereens in my backyard .

Customer Service is a Scam to Sell you Stuff
I bought an Officejet Pro 9025e about two years ago. Nice machine but it was hell to set up. Literally hours on the phone with them to get the scanner to work properly and only after signing up for a $199/year service plan, which I agreed to during my panic. After thinking about it, I decided to cancel the plan a few weeks later and not pay any more monthly charges, which they fought me on tooth and nail. By the way, the solution to the scanner function was to NOT use the "Smart" app that came with the printer but to download the more generic HP Scan software, which works fine.
Fast forward to last month, I wanted to buy a printer/scanner for my 88 year-old Dad. C|Net said an HP 9125e was the best machine, so I bought it for him, even though my own experience was in the back of my mind. I rationalized it by figuring at least I could help him with it since I was familiar with the HP machines. After using it for two weeks, it would not connect to his WIFI network. He re-installed everything to no avail. We (together) got a barely intelligible non-American HP support person on the phone with my Dad and after an hour were told that he had corrupted files, needed IP Protection software and new firmware, which they could install for -- you guessed it -- $199/year. I hung up the phone. Then my Dad shut down his laptop and restarted at which time the connection to the printer restored itself. (My bad for not thinking of this first).
I am not generally a conspiracy theorist, but I can't help but think this company is selling defective equipment so they can charge you on the back end to get them into working condition.
Another great American brand managed directly into the ground. Fool me twice, shame on me. Never again though.

SMUDGEY INK
Due to my learning difficulties I go through a lot of printer ink, I need to be able to see things on paper not screen.
Cheap, non-branded inks are great because they are affordable and when I highlight important information for my course the ink does not smudge.
Compare this with HPs apparently superior quality ink and the difference is stark, well, smudged to almost illegibility!!
This is a nightmare because I can’t not highlight material, it’s totally necessary and also it ruins my highlighters!! It’s not the paper because I have tried different types and still the same result, even when I leave my printing to ‘dry’ it still smudges.
Am I the only one this is happening to? Surely not.
I have given two stars because I do like the idea of the Smart Tank printer, I just wish the ink didn’t smudge.

Do not buy anything from HP
What once was a reputable brand (and maybe still are for commercial products) should suffer for their poor quality consumer laptops.
Read the other reviews for how their "warranty" departments behave and price gouge. Clearly they offset their cheap prices with expensive after sales repairs for faulty products.

I would give this zero if I could!
I would give this zero if I could. I have been trying for a year to get my new printer to work . Phoned HP multiple times and they are all useless.I wasted hours on the phone. Trying to say its my router , when Iv paid to have it checked. This brand new printer got taken outside and smashed up with a hammer . Biggest piece of rubbish I have ever bought . Never buying anything from HP again.

BOYCOTT HEWLETT PACKARD PRINTERS - IF YOU WANT TO USE NON-HP INK!!!
HOW IS IT LEGAL TO DISABLE MY PRINTER FROM USING NON-HP INK MORE THAN A YEAR AFTER PURCHASE?!?! DO NOT BUY HP PRINTERS IF YOU WANT TO SAVE TONS OF MONEY WITH NON-HP INK.
I would give my HP printer zero stars if possible (HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e). I have been a loyal, lifelong HP customer since I bought my HP15C scientific calculator back in 1985 or so. Bought this printer on 6/6/23. Did not realize it was set up to automatically update. I bought non-HP ink on Amazon for less than half of price of HP cartridges and it worked fine. Then, in fall of 2024, an automatic update made it impossible for me to use non-HP ink anymore. If a non-HP ink cartridge is used it completely disables the printer.
HP customer service is useless and will not help fix this problem. The representative will repeatedly read you some pre-written script of corporate double speak and will not provide an earlier version of the software to permit you to use non-HP ink. HP was sued and settled a federal class action law suit over this practice. Do this internet search and boycott HP! "HP agrees to settlement in overpriced, incompatible ink cartridge class action."

Terrible Technical Assistance on HP Printers
Changed internet service and could not switch HP Envy 6458e to new service. Downloaded HP Support Assistant and of course that never works. Next, I called the HP Technicians help line. The Technicians did not have a clue of how to resolve the issue? After 2 Hours on the phone, I finally went to Utube and found a video and fixed the problem Myself. I love My HP Printer, but they have in experienced support teams.

WATCH this Company!!!
My experience over the past couple of days has been nightmarish.
My HP printer has nit worked for a few weeks soon after warranty ran out. I called their support( or so I thought (now I'm not sure). All most immediately without much checking, their agent said they would give me a full refund. He took over Mt computer and saw personal information and passwords. The same night I called the HP online store. My plan was to get the"real" number. That agent, although very polite) was almost as bad as the "fake" agent I was supposedly getting a printer with ink for only $7.99 a month. That polite woman watched my every move creating new HP password, and enter charge card info. She also scrolled down to see my list of emails. I cannot help to believe these people are not in cahoots.
Some agency has to get to the bottom of these scams. My bank is working on this.
Also, the next day someone ordered $300 worth of gift cards. I'm hoping this information helps prevent this anguish for other unsuspecting consumers.
I gave HP 3 stars because I have always(20 years) bought their ptoducts.

Please update your drivers, HP!
I recently bought a new Mac Mini, but was very disappointed (although not very surprised) that I could no longer connect my trusty 20-year-old HP LaserJet 1200. I tried to find a workaround, but there was no driver available. So I bit the bullet, and bought a new HP LaserJet M207 ... only to find when I tried to install it that HP don't support OS15 (Sequoia). How ridiculous is that? Surely a brand-new printer should be compatible with the latest Mac software? It's not as though OS15 has only just been released – it's on 15.2 now. Get your act together, HP, and don't sell new printers that aren't compatible with the software that's out there!
