Echoing Jasmin’s review regarding unauthorised payment being taken and a box delivered without my consent. This is theft, yet the staff are not interested !!
We therefore had no input into the meals we paid £71 for. When the food has arrived, the food, particularly the chicken is poor quality. Disgusting service - will also be reporting to the ombudsman.

We absolutely love Gousto! The food is delicious, the quality of all the ingredients is excellent & it’s great value for money. The portion sizes are good too. We order 5 meals each (me, hubby & 14 y/o daughter) every fortnight, & on the weeks in between I find it a proper pain having to come up with my own meals & then go for a big shop! Maybe I should order them weekly & that’d just leave me having to sort dinners on weekends only! There’s so much to choose on the app too so we’re really spoilt for choice. Fab.

Once again an ingredient wasn't available in my order. Also Evri driver lied about the delivery stating on tracking he was unable to deliver at 11:03. We were in and can prove he did not arrive on the Ring doorbell. Liar! Rubbish service. I have cancelled our account with Gousto. As long as Gousto use Every I will not be using Gousto!

If you forget to place your meal presences (as I did as I was away) they will send you their choices for you. This week 4 out of the 5 dishes are Basa fish. Not a great variety at all. Also as last week the quality/freshness of the vegetables is not brilliant.

Box regularly delivered with damaged or poor quality ingredients. Latest box is mostly unusable and they will only refund 40% as this is their policy. Funny that you order a set number of meals only to have to go to the shops every week to buy bits to make a meal. Shocking customer service and cancelling.

When we first started using Gousto it was great, really easy to follow, really tasty meals. We don't order all the time but has been really handy if we have had a busy working week. However, the last few boxes we have had I have to say that the veg or salads are not fresh, garlic that's gone brown, veg that I've had to pick through that wasn't on the turn, but.. I still gave the benefit of the doubt. The box i had last week really disappointed with the quality. Green beans mainly brown, old garlic, potatoes feeling soft and the last straw was chicken for two of the meals completely off, it absolutely stank! So baring in mind we had worked all day, it was 7pm and we then had to go to the supermarket to buy fresh ingredients to be able to eat. The dates were the 4th and 5th July so should have been fine, all four packs of chicken were very much past their sell by date. It's ok giving me a £8.50 credit but the inconvenience and poor quality of so called fresh ingredients is not acceptable and I'm in two minds to continue now even with the discounts offered.

Gousto are sending out a delivery to me that I have not authorise, nor picked and, on top of that, even though I am registered as a pescatarian, they have included meat dishes! I emailed them when I noticed the payment being taken out of my account to tell them I didn't order this and that I am actually on holiday but they say they can't cancel the order or give me a refund. How are they getting away with this. Shocking!! I am going to escalate this to whatever ombudsman I can as I think this is happening to a lot of people who leave reviews about the poor customer service/resolution but not enough of us are taking it further and we need to otherwise nothing will change and we're just letting them take our money!

I have ordered a few boxes from Gousto and been very happy with the quality and accuracy of what was delivered. 1 box had a missing ingredients or two but luckily I was able to replace these myself from my own store cupboard. But the number of missing items from my latest box has been ridiculous. I don’t know how it got through quality control! Maybe such a thing does not exist at Gousto which would explain a lot! Yes, if you select the missing items on your account page, they refund you for that specific ingredient but that doesn’t account for the inconvenience it causes.
With my latest box I was not able to replace the missing items and had to go the supermarket - which defeats the so called convenience of meal box delivery in the first place!
Really disappointed and put off from making any future orders.

I am disabled so I thought Gousto would be ideal for me, as I can not walk or stand for any amount of time. The box arrived supposedly containing all ingredients for 5 meals.
No..It was missing numerous ingredients in all the recipes meaning I could not make a single meal from the box. I phoned up…they were completely belligerent and indifferent to my problem refunded me £8 and told to go buy the missing ingredients?! Tough. Deal with it. We can’t do anymore and hung up!!

Box was received with all of the one corner from top to bottom ripped open.
Contacted them and was quoted a ticket number 8810438.
Sent them photo's via e mail and no reply at all.

Cancelled my subscription in Feb only to be charged and sent a box at the start of July. Customer services were hopeless consistently saying I placed the order before then cancelling my subscription. No explanation as to how there was a 5 month break in the subscription. No attempt at looking into a fraudulent transaction. At most I was offered a 20% discount on the order. AVOID.
