Got water rower as gift, missing critical part!

Got water rower as gift. When went to assemble, was missing the seat pad and had broken phone holder. I have no way to contact company as their website is down! No seat pad makes the machine completely nonfunctional! Help!

Overall it's a good machine

Overall it's a good machine. However the foot rests are to small to use with my shoes on, so making them a little wider at the heel would be good. Also the direction to put it together could use a little better direction. But overall it provides a good workout.

You honestly don’t want me to leave a review

You honestly don’t want me to review this product and my experience. But since I’ve gotten a mere 10 automated emails about it, here it is: shipping was delayed a week. NBD. It’s January, stuff gets delayed. Then received the box with no assembly instructions. No user manual. No QR code to link to the instructions, nothing. There’s also no instructions on the website. When you do find the user manual on the website that has what’s included in your box, the instructions aren’t instructions, they’re simple pictures with little explanations. No arrows. Just basic diagrams. Which I could have made work if the bags with all the screws and equipment was labeled correctly. Per the diagrams, I was supposed to have bags A-M. I was missing multiple bags and had multiple bags labeled with the same letter. It took forever to sort out which bags were mislabeled and which screws corresponded to the correct item so that we could even begin assembling with the confusing instructions (again, that were not included in the box). Low and behold. The footboard does not, and will never fit this machine. We have had to screw our own holes to fit it to the planks and the drum. I mean I guess that’s what we had to do since we had no instructions. I emailed customer service about not having parts/instructions/parts being mislabeled the day that we received our shipment and have heard nothing. But I’ve gotten every email they’ve sent about reviewing the product. So here you go. Here’s your review.

Terrible Customer Service

I ordered and paid for a rower online. A couple of days later I received an email that the rower was listed at the wrong price and my order was canceled. I emailed back requesting to speak to a manager or supervisor. I should be able to get the product for the price listed online. My requests were ignored. Terrible sevice!

I ordered the classic rowing machine in…

I ordered the classic rowing machine in the middle of October. The machine was shipped with me with incomplete parts so it is impossible to assemble. I informed the company about this and identified the missing parts and they resent duplicates of a part I already have. Terrible customer service has left me trying to find a solution for over a month now. No phone number, terrible communication delays via email, no web based chat. STAY AWAY from this company.

Mislabeled components, Difficult display

Mislabeled components made it difficult to assemble. (Screws were mislabeled, so we had to figure some portions out on our own.) The electronic display is also not very user-friendly, so I haven't even bothered using it. The ESL grammar in the user manual doesn't help...

Just buy the real thing

The website doesn’t work for registering and comments aren’t added as mine hasn’t shown up as a review for the product.

The machine is mostly well built. The tension cord rubs the bottom of the frame and raises concern on the longevity of the rower. The computer is awful. It requires 4 AA batteries and doesn’t fit appropriate. Additionally, the Bluetooth connectivity is nonexistent as the app is not properly built. The instructions are extremely lacking as well.

Worst Customer Service I’ve ever seen!

I ordered a $600 rower. When they sent it to me it was missing a bunch of hardware. I spent a week trying to get in touch with someone and finally someone returned my email. I said EXACTLY the hardware that I was missing, the quantity I was missing, and even included a picture of their instructions to better reference it… and a WEEK later i get shipment from them and it’s the wrong hardware! I can’t call them because they don’t list a phone number, they don’t respond in chats, they don’t respond in emails. All I want to do is build this $600 rower but it’s been sitting in pieces on my floor for weeks now. I wrote a negative review and when I heard back from them I deleted the review out of good faith and this is the thanks that I get!

Missing parts/terrible customer service

Missing several parts. Customer service is slow and incompetent. After several asks, I was sent a replacement parts package that didn’t have any of the missing parts that I detailed. Now, I’m not getting a response regarding sending the correct parts or initiating a return/refund. Extremely frustrated.

Product poor quality

Product poor quality. Support board pulled loose from frame. Difficulty attaching seat. Plastic running slide for seat wheels cracked. Company issued full refund. Not even trying to redeem the sale with replacement parts. Save your money until to can afford a Concept 2 rower.

Great product overall. Love the looks, and the quality and functionality are top notch. Assembly instructions could be better - labels in parts don’t match 100% what is indicated I’m instructions, and some of the steps are not detailed enough

This company has zero customer service

This company has zero customer service. Phone appears to be disabled. I received the rowing machine quickly. Missing four bolts to assemble it.
Can get no response or make contact with gorowingo.com at all.
Product might be good IF it could be assembled.
I would recommend not to order based on the fact it appears no way to contact them or resolution to their problem of missing parts.
