Great coverage and response time is on point. I have been with First American for 5 years and have filed several claims. They have saved me thousands in repairs. I would highly recommend using them for home warranty. Do not make the mistake of thinking home owners insurance will cover what First American covers.

First American Home Warranty is…terrible
First American Home Warranty is absolutely terrible. The dryer in our new home was not working and we called. They came out after a few days and said they needed to order a part. It took a week for the part to come in and when they came back out, they said they had ordered the wrong part. They told us it would be another week for the new part to come in. After a week, they told us they had the part but it would be another week before they could come back out to install it. It has now been three weeks since we called them and we still don't have a working dryer. If they made a mistake and ordered the wrong part to start with, it is terrible customer service to then make us wait for two more weeks to install the correct part. Do not use this company.

Ok 2nd review. My claim was transferred to a particular person and nobody could tell me anything but her. I tried calling her extension 3 times July 3rd. No answer. My hvac system has not worked for 8 and 1/2 weeks. Frustration is setting in. Why in the h&$@ hasn’t anyone called me back about the part that was supposedly ordered. The HVAC company that is supposed to install it is top notch. They to have been calling. But nothing. The service that First American provides is incompetent, they don’t care about the consumer. They just want to get their monthly payments. I posted another review earlier and it said we will look into it and they are sorry. I don’t want excuses I want my ac fixed. Do yourself a favor don’t waste your time doing business with them
