BAD COMPANY SELLING A BAD HEARING AID…

BAD COMPANY SELLING A BAD HEARING AID THROUGH A BAD RETAILER = A VERY BAD DEAL>BEWARE ALL OF THEM!

When I needed hearing aids, my health insurer provided a list of nearby firms including Burbank Hearing Aid Specialists in Burbank, CA, who then ordered a pair of ReSound OMNIA high-end hearing aids without even testing my hearing or giving me a choice of brands or options, while refusing to answer basic questions as to product warranty or what to do if the hearing aids did not work. When the ReSound charger did not work, after I had to install their ReSound iphone App despite zero dealer assistance, causing me to try to return the defective product through the dealer, he stalled the return long enough to prevent my obtaining any alternative hearing aids in time for a trip to Europe. Neither the dealer nor the ReSound parent firm itself, GN GROUP of DENMARK, would do anything to help resolve these many problems. Then I discovered that -- for about one percent of the vastly-inflated ReSound price -- I COULD OBTAIN A FULLY-FUNCTIONAL PAIR OF OVER-THE-COUNTER INTERNET HEARING AIDS!

BEWARE THESE POORLY-DESIGNED AND VASTLY- OVERPRICED UNITS, WHOSE PARENT FIRM GN GROUP OF DENMARK DOES NOT EVEN RESPOND TO MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS! BEWARE BURBANK HEARING AID SPECIALISTS, ReSound of America, and GN GROUP of Denmark, ALL OF WHOM ARE CONSUMER-ABUSIVE WHILE SELLING DEFECTIVE HEARING AIDS AT ATROCIOUSLY-INFLATED PRICES -- SHAME ON ALL OF THEM! Take heed and beware!
