Adam and Luke were both really helpful and friendly, delivered and constructed new bed efficiently and effortlessly and returned previous order (my mistake ordered a bed too small) with out any quibbles!

We have just had our Caesar size (8 foot) bed frame and mattresses delivered!Adam and Luke were really nice guys and made the whole thing very efficient and easy. What a huge bed!

I have ordered a custom made bed today from this company. I had a lot of questions regarding the adjustment of sizes for the frame and mattress. Also questions regarding delivery date. I did all this by email and every time I had quick response from the company, particularly Elisha and Trisha. I appreciated their help in answering my questions and reassuring me. From the excellent communications I am very confident that, should I need more help, Trisha and colleagues will be very patient and helpful. I am looking forward to getting my new bed. I am so glad I found this company online.

We visited the showroom at the weekend to look at the variety of beds available. Elisha was knowledgable and very helpful in answering all our questions. A true asset to the team. The fact that it was by appointment meant that we were the only people there, allowing us to take our time at looking at all the beds without any pressure.

Product - 5 Star
Space Saver Floating Bed, Small Super King size (5’ 6”) in Grey Wash

Price - 4 Star
£758, a little high but it’s a large 5’ 6” bed.

Delivery - 4 Star
Get Laid stuck to their delivery slot, and communicated well throughout the wait as there was a 2 week lead time, which I accept is because the products are hand made.

Appearance - 5 Star
It looks great assembled. Lovely product. Solid. Well finished.

Assembly - 2 star (lacked some pre-drilled pilot holes)
Really wasn’t ideal. You need a hand drill or electric screwdriver to get the screws in as only the main screw holes are provided.

No headboard pilot holes or measurements provided. The headboard for this frame is in 3 tongue & groove pieces which slot together, you have to work out where to position the supporting uprights (legs) to screw to these pieces so they are clamped and fixed as one piece, whilst also allowing a 20 mm gap vertically from the top of the headboard. It was really difficult to hold the 3 slats together and the uprights in place, especially as the uprights are tapered to allow the headboard to gently slope backwards. I feel like it’s a big ask to expect customers to know how to work all this out and have the correct power tools.

The maths was stressful. Pilot holes really would’ve helped as it was super stressful worrying we would mess it up. I was not anticipating this. We had to borrow a power tool from a friend to get the screws in as it was a lot by hand.

The slats were also not marked out, no pilot holes provided. Again some complicated maths to space them evenly. No directions on how best to do this. Where to position the first slat. It was stressful but we got there in the end. It took far longer than anticipated and the air was blue a few times.

Lovely product, looks amazing but for £758 I really wasn’t expecting to do the carpentry and maths! Took two of us over 90 min to figure it all out.
