The problem will be solved, but customer service not so hot
The service of fixing the problem was fine. The customer service from Jessica Clark was not so hot. She was pushy, rude and argumentative.
First, she asked me to proof read an email so I did or tried to. She pasted an format into an email in my email account without asking if it'd be okay to do so. I attempted to edit the email, but she didn't want me to change anything even though I told her, "it wasn't how I write" she replied with "Oh it doesn't matter." There was no greeting. I am fluent in the English language and it was written in the form of an English language learner. Not cool.
Second, she began to sign my name on legal documents for me, from my understanding of the law is against the law. She DID NOT have permission to do so. When I questioned her by opening an email to write "why did you sign my name for me?" She questioned me! Well, isn't your name, "so and so...." yes, but I don't sign my name like that. I don't appreciate you signing my name. I can do that. I'm not sure, but there was someone else telling her to stop arguing with me and to let me sign my name as she came back on the phone and said "well, I guess you want to sign. I will have to make new forms." She was put out. Additionally, would open the emails from the documents she signed for me and submitted them without telling me what she was doing. She didn't have permission to use my email account as she did as I was on the phone with her watching her utilize my email account as she liked.
Third, she watched me complete the feedback form about her. I was writing the open-ended response question. I had about 3 sentences written, then she comes on the phone and says, "Are you done?" Good, then hits submit. Rude!
Fourth, during the service I asked her why she was deleting icons on my desktop, she ignored the question and continued on about her way. "I will call you back when I'm done." Then hung up. Her job was to fix the issue, not rearrange/delete my desktop icons. She did both.
Fifth, she put the company basic information on my desktop. Really, now? I asked her to remove the information from the top right corner of my desktop. I have never had a sales representative/technician put decorative notes on my desktop that I can look up in the documents provided to me. If that's a company policy, I highly suggest that be revisited. She was put out by the request as she displayed a tone and expression of disgust; but she complied.
Jessica knows how to download software and fix issues with technology, but she definitely needs to work on her customer service. All this was done after I had been laughed at by the Espon printer technician I had spoken with earlier. I'm educated with a master's of science degree with a thesis. I'd prefer to be treated as such. I remained calm during the disrespectful customer service and hope Jessica is able to learn from this review. My not so nice note has nothing to do with the hard skills but rather soft skills experienced.
