They STOLE my NOTE 8!!!

Just to clarify before I write all of this, I NEVER got in contact with any REAL person!!

-10/30/19-
I got onto the website and got quoted $185(via the website quote system). It was higher than any other website that I had looked into.

This website seemed to look somewhat professional and friendly...I was WRONG!!

I printed the prepaid label, packaged my phone the best I could and sent it off.

I watched the shipping process closely to make sure my phone arrived. When it arrived, it got redirected to a new address(which I don’t know what the address was).

-11/10/19-
I then, tried to make contact (via their texting system, also email) and NO RESPONSE!!

It’s been WEEKS now and I still have not got a response AT ALL.

These people STOLE MY PHONE!! DONT TRUST THEM!!

Today is 11/26/19

Don’t trust Gadgyt or Lou Bezares

Do not do business with the company!! Gadgyt and Lou Bezares are scammers & liars and will cheat you out of whatever they can.
They quote you a good price online, then once they receive your phone, they say it’s in poor condition, and quote you a lower price. After you agree on a price, they send you a check and the check will be for even less money. There is no phone number to get ahold of anyone. They don’t reply to email or the text line. This place is slow, and they will not pay what they agree to pay.

Stay away!!!
Don’t trust Gadgyt or Lou Bezares.

And don’t believe any of the 5 star reviews on this site…. They all seem shady too, just like Gadgyt & Lou Bezares.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

On October 30th, I received an offer from Gadgyt to sell them my iPhone 8 64gb. It is in near perfect condition and they offered to buy it for $209.90. They provided a pre-paid USPS label to me, which I used to send my phone to them. The phone was packaged in a box and secured for transit, so it should have arrived in perfect condition. I mailed the box on November 5th and it was received by Gadgyt on November 8th. According to their website, they are supposed to notify the consumer ASAP once their product has been received to let us know they are inspecting the product. I never received an email from them. I have been trying to get a hold of them for the last week via email and their texting phone number (they don't have a business phone number anywhere I can find) and I have not gotten a response. I read other reviews of people with the same complaint and it appears they have taken my phone and have no intentions of paying me.

TERRIBLE COMPANY!

I sent my iPhone x to them at the beginning of the month. The tracking number shows that the package has been delivered but the website is showing that they're still "awaiting shipment". I cannot get a hold of anyone at the company and their "text us now" option on the site has not responded despite having tried three separate times. I have filed a complaint on the Federal Trade Commission and I think anyone else who is experiencing the same thing should as well so that something is done!

They stole my iPhone 6s. I talked with the Federal Trade Commission and if we get a few more complaints they will file an investigation into this business please go online and file a complaint so that they can take them to court! I see they are writing reviews on their behalf. Pretty pathetic they can't respond to customer, but have time to write 5 star fake reviews.

A SCAM WITH FAKE REVIEWS

SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM, SCAM !!!!!

STAY AWAY! I can't believe they are recommended by Gazelle and sellcell.com (Both which I have considered credible for years).

Just like a lot of people on this list, I sold my iPhone X 256gb to Upgrade to the new iPhone. They first quoted me over $500 and they reduced the amount after I sent them the phone. It's now been two months and they still haven't paid me anything. They were telling me nonsense until I told I've had enough and I want my money now. They stopped responding...

I think we should all get law enforcement involved and arrest these people. This is unacceptable !

I sold Gadgyt 2 iPhone Se phones almost…

I sold Gadgyt 2 iPhone Se phones almost 2 weeks ago and cannot get a response via email, or text (their preferred method of contact) as to the status of my order/payment. I used their prepaid labels and kept the receipt for tracking and both phones were delivered. I believe that this company has stole my phones!

Just echoing what everyone else is…

Just echoing what everyone else is saying. Sent my phone on 9/30. Had to reach out to them for a follow up the next week since I hadn't heard anything. Lou said it's with the inspection team and gave me a PO number. Haven't heard back since and can't get a response from support. They stole my phone.

Update ...

Almost immediately after I posted a bad review, I got a personal phone call asking why I had posted a bad review. Didn't I know that they receive 50+ packages a day and I had to wait my turn? Didn't I know that November 7, a Thursday, was the day before the last day of the week leading up to a holiday weekend? Didn't I realize the phone is only worth $32 (implying I should just give it to him)?

Today is Tuesday November 19th. It is now a full 12 days and 6 business days (I discounted the postal holiday of Veterans Day / November 11 - thank you veterans for your service to this country) since Gadgyt has received my phone. Common business sense says that there is an opportunity to turn a bad into a good and possibly make this review that I am editing go from a 1 star to a 5 star and me revising the whole thing.

NOPE! Haven't heard a word and there is still no funds in my Paypal account. So my revie stands. SCAM.

########################

This "business" is a scam.

I shipped a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900V to them using the prepaid label they provided on November 7 and have the receipt for it from the Post Office. I followed it through the postal system and it was delivered on November 7.

On November 8th and still today, according to their website, I haven't even shipped it yet.

I have tried to reach out to them on 4 occasions through the only method available, an online texting interface, with no response.

If you have done business with them, do not be afraid to involve the United States Postal Inspection Service. This is obvious mail fraud the way I see it now.

The phone number listed is a cell phone texting service and there is no way to get a human on that line.

Final thoughts ... BUYER / SELLER BEWARE!!!

Gadgyt is now a synonym for Thief

I sent them 2 phones for their trade in program. They have not paid for either and they have confirmed they received them. It has been over a month and they will not respond to any messages now.

Slow response, if any at all

After hounding Lou and Gadgyt about any updates after receiving my phone, I managed to get ahold of him only to find out I was getting a reduced price for my phone. I reluctantly agreed the new price. I got a payment a few days later only to see that I was shorted by an additional $180. Lou was quick to respond that "accounting" would take care of it, but I haven't heard back from anyone since.

BEWARE!!!

The mystery of Lou Bezare

Never heard back from Lou Bezare. I got scammed. Went through the whole process, they never sent me an updated if they received my phone. I had to contact them myself. Kept in touch for a while but never had back nor received my payment. Waited two months and nothing. You have been warned don’t trust this company!!!

I think they might have stolen my phone

It has been an all around terrible experience. I sent them my phone and they said it was sim locked, and low balled me. I immediately called ATT and got it unlocked. (Didn’t know I had to actually get it unlocked) I sent the email back say the issue is taken care of, at which point he lowballed me again. We finally negotiated on a price 8 days ago, and still haven’t received payment. I’ve reached out several times on their text line, as well as email, and no one will respond to me.

Don’t trust the 5 star reviews!

Do not do business with this company. They are extremely slow. Don’t trust the 5 star reviews. When they do eventually get to your phone three weeks later, they try to give you a low ball offer. I had an s9+ barely used, no scratches. I marked it as good, and they said it was poor. What a BS company. Beware and stay away. Garbage. Hard to get a hold of people. They did send my phones back, a month and a half later. What a waste of time. Not happy with the stickers on the phones.
