About Fundrise

Written by the company

Fundrise offers access to sophisticated private market strategies focused on generating consistent income and long-term growth across real estate private equity, venture capital, and private credit.

Real estate — Fundrise is one of the 50 largest real estate private equity investors in the world by total annual deployment — deploying more than $1 billion of capital annually in 2021 and 2022. Our portfolio is largely composed of 20,000+ well-located residential units and eCommerce-centric industrial assets.

Venture — Investing in high-growth private technology companies has proven to be one of the best-performing strategies of the last 50 years. Our growth equity fund targets mid-to-late-stage companies in sectors like Modern Data Infrastructure, FinTech, and AI/ML.

Private credit — Skyrocketing interest rates have created broad credit market dislocations and a potential liquidity crisis. The result is arguably the most attractive, risk-adjusted private credit investing opportunity of the last few decades.

Building a better financial system
When our co-founders launched Fundrise back in 2012, our mission was to use technology to build a better financial system for investors like you. A lot has changed since then. Over 2 million people now use Fundrise and we manage nearly $3 billion in equity across real estate, private credit, and venture capital. It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come. But our mission remains the same. It’s what drives us to continue eliminating barriers, developing new investments, and working tirelessly to make this the best investing experience you’ve ever had. Thank you for joining us on this journey.

Have been with Fundrise since 2016. I have made a lot of money with dividends and appreciation on my account. For those people who don't read the fine print about length of time for e-Reits you need to pay more attention. I would recommend Fundrise to anyone .

Poor Returns and Little or No Liquidity

Made the mistake of investing in their illiquid Internet Public Offering (IPO) shares. The company depicts that the price of these shares have appreciated, but it's their evaluation of their own shares. Would have been so much better off to have invested in REITs. Additionally, the eREITs purchased from Fundrise were the poorest performing asset in my entire portfolio. You cant access your own assets for five years unless you want to pay a penalty. I ended up selling all my shares after paying small penalty fees. Still can't sell the IPO shares unless the company goes public, or suddenly allows investors who purchased them to sell them back. I simply overestimated their long-term prospects.

A platform I trust and recommend!

Transparent, professional, and reliable. Trust is hard to build, and Fundrise has my full confidence and trust, something not easily won. Thank Fundrise for democratizing investing in quality funds not previously accessible to the masses!

Ease of use and performance top-notch

I've always wanted to invest in Real Estate, but found it scary. Things braking and the cost of repairing, the ups and downs of the market vs the rent income from tenants that may or may not be dependable. When I heard of Fundrise I was immediately intrigued and it didn't take long for me to invest thousands of dollars. It just makes sense. Take this from someone who never jumps into anything without considering the pros and cons and crossing all her Ts and dotting all her Is. You're just investing in real estate without all the headaches. They do all the work. It's hassle-free! But if you're still a bit hesitant about taking the plunge, go ahead and test the waters but not miss out! Invest as little as $10. You can't beat that!! You will see your investment grow on a daily basis!! I know that you will soon want to invest more! I did. But if you choose not to invest more, it will be based an your own experience and not someone else's comment.

NOTE to Limphi Daida: You are obviously on here to promote another financial investment company. And you speak about how only if Fundrise has your $$ for "50 years" will you see any return, and then go on to say that "patience" is rule #1 of any investment but only when speaking about the company you are promoting. Sorry, but you are being inconsistent and therefore your input should be questionable to anyone reading it.

And I'd check your spelling more before posting any comment. Misspellings also take away from the weight of your comment.

Transparency and disclosure is key

Transparency and disclosure is key. Fundrise does OK, the more the better. Ensuring investors know what is being invested in each fund is most important. Understanding the advisory fees and what they amount to is important especially when you meet waiver thresholds. Would be great to know how much we are saving as a result. The app is pretty good, would be better if if was easier to be able invest in each fund more easily. A little tricky to navigate and pick which fund you want to add money to. The whole picking your investing objective or goal is probably not necessary.

The process of getting started was very easy. I have just sat back and watched as I've gotten 21.5% returns on my money that was invested in Venture. Wish I would have known about Fundrise sooner, and now as an IPO investor I can't wait to see what the future brings!!

An excellent app for investing!

An excellent app for investing!

I love how this app allows investors of all experience levels a wonderful investment experience. The ROI is fantastic as well. I love real estate, but I don't want to buy a property. This is a great medium.

New to Fundrise

Fundrise allows individuals to invest in real estate without purchasing the actual properties. My only con is I thought I would have made a higher return by now.
