If you’re considering Freedom Forever, be warned: our project run by Jeris Coleman (sales) and James Lynch (supervisor) has left us with a six-figure loan, zero power, and endless frustration.
High-pressure, zero transparency
• Jeris would never just e-mail documents or provide them on the portal for calm review; he insisted on “dropping by” so we could “look over everything together.” In reality, he used the face-to-face setting to rush signatures and distract us from reading the fine print, all while promising a Tesla Powerwall 3 battery that never appeared. Only after an insufferable elongated call with him did he admit it was his error that the battery was never entered in the first place.
• Given how the solar contracts are written there is no way for someone who doesn't work for them to clearly notice that a solar battery is missing since they had Tesla in there. We thought Tesla was the battery and they later claimed it was inverter options, they list 3 different inverters on the contract that the company chooses from based on their availability. Even their own staff were unable to ascertain initially when asked if the battery was included until the contract was reviewed by someone higher up.
• Contract total of over $100K yet we still have no battery and no permission to operate (PGE rejected the paperwork because Freedom Forever filed the wrong address). Yes, they had the wrong address on the paperwork they needed to submit to PGE to turn on the solar. We found out after we called PGE directly since they were not responding to us anymore. Upon solar completion we received an email from Freedom Forever, stating that we should look out for another email that will let us know next steps on the inspection by the electrical company and city. Two and a half months later we have yet to receive the follow up email.
System throttled
• Shortly after solar installation we saw notification on their portal (keep in mind no human informed us about this) that we can only get 80% solar production and the remedy involved settling to this or incurring extra costs. This was after they had surveyed the location before and told us no issues and that we will get our agreed on 100% production. Jeris assured us not to worry about it that it was an error on their part/system but I can't verify since we've not heard back about it and can't confirm since the system is still not on.
Radio silence since 21 May
• We’ve sent respectful emails, calls, and texts to Jeris and James no replies since May 21. Their “reputation manager” Cinque chimed in once on June 5, then vanished too.
Meanwhile, Jeris and James are presumably enjoying their commissions and living their best lives while we are left with forever debt, cheap panels, no battery, and no permission to operate. Still they have not responded. I'm not sure if its Freedom Forever issue but I would avoid working with these two.

Freedom forever will be the next solar company to declare bankruptcy. Their main financial partner mosaic just did on June 6th.
Not to mention in IL sales reps are pushing an IRS tax scam claiming they can get you 80% back for you system using Solar Tax Max or Solar Tax Pros. This is absolutely a scam and needs to be reported to your local authorities. Please do not fall victim to this. The IRS will Audit you and you will have no protection from Freedom forever, the scumbag salesman, or their “tax guy”.
Freedom forever can reply all they want to my comments. But 1. They will never reach out to me. 2. They are a horrible company. 3. Avoid at all costs! 4. All the 5 star comments are fake accounts. If you look at all the 1 stars you’ll see the real reviews of this company!

I’m filing this complaint regarding a solar project dispute with Freedom Forever (installer) and Mosaic (financing). I currently have two active Mosaic loans for duplicate solar projects at my home—only one of which was ever intended to proceed.
On 9/27/2024, I signed a contract with Freedom Forever for a solar system, financed through Mosaic for $81,513.96.
Due to delays, I signed a second contract on 12/17/2024 for $69,494.12, with clear assurances from Freedom Forever that the original project and its loan would be canceled.
No work or installation has ever been performed on either contract, yet Freedom Forever took 70% draws on both loans.
The first loan was finally canceled in January 2025, but the second loan remains active despite five months of emails, calls, and verbal confirmations from Freedom Forever’s staff that it was also canceled. Freedom Forever claims they sent the cancellation to Mosaic. However, Mosaic insists they never received confirmation and won’t cancel the loan because Freedom Forever has already drawn funds and won’t return them.
This has been going on for over 5 months, and I have:
Written emails and texts from Freedom Forever stating the second project was canceled.
Recorded calls confirming no equipment was delivered and no fees would apply.
Yet Mosaic is still reporting the loan as active and holding me financially liable.
I am requesting BBB assistance to:
Ensure Mosaic cancels the $69,494.12 loan.
Hold Freedom Forever accountable for drawing funds for work never done.
Provide written confirmation from both parties that I owe nothing further.
Thank you,
Tim Grant

Beware!! Do not buy solar and do not buy from freedom forever. I had my system installed and with enphase equipment in 2022 and have had many many systems failures. Everytime the system fails i lose power to my house. I have been out probably thousands of dollars, freedom and enphase point the finger at each other. Freedom will ghost you basically will tell you sucks to sucks. I had to get put back on the grid 100 percent to have power. I have a meeting with a lawyer coming up. When freedom has to pay me, remove my system and reimburse me I guess it sucks to suck. I tell my neighbors, friends, family, coworkers and anyone i can DO NOT GET SOLAR and stay far away from freedom forever.

Apollo 11 workforce performed an outstanding job at our home. They were very knowledgeable and worked efficiently installing the solar panels and the battery back up system. Having worked in construction field I am very impressed by the way they took every effort for safety from individuals on the roof always using safety tie backs on their person while on the roof. On the ground they had more than adequate work and caution tape roping of the areas where one could go and where not to go do to overhead work being completed. The small things like extremely clean and orderly. Everyone had a job when they showed up and they were very organized and efficient from start of day to the end of the day. They are a well oiled crew which reflects on the company.

The panels are in! The Titan team was here when scheduled and got to work right away. If it wasn’t for the pounding on the roof I wouldn't have known they were here. They were coordinated and efficient and got the job done much sooner than I expected. You guys did a great job! Highly recommend!
