Freedom Debt Relief is a trusted financial services provider based in San Mateo. Founded in 2002, Freedom Debt Relief has grown to be the largest debt settlement company in the nation, employing more than 2,000 professionals dedicated to helping consumers overcome debt and regain financial stability. The company operates from its headquarters at 1875 S Grant St Ste 300, San Mateo, CA 94402, within The Crossroads San Mateo business center. Freedom Debt Relief is BBB-accredited with an A+ rating, reflecting its long-standing commitment to ethical business practices and customer satisfaction.
The company’s core services focus on debt negotiation and settlement. Freedom Debt Relief’s primary service is debt settlement, which involves negotiating with creditors to reduce the total amount owed by the client. The process begins with a free consultation to assess the client’s financial situation and determine eligibility for the program. If enrolled, clients deposit funds monthly into an FDIC-insured dedicated account they control. As savings accumulate, Freedom’s negotiators work directly with creditors to secure settlements for less than the full balance. Clients approve each settlement before payments are made, and the process continues until all enrolled debts are resolved.

I have been doing their relief program for about a year and a half. So far out of 5 of my debts they have saved me $196, yes out of around almost 20,000 in debt they have saved me $196. Two of the debts the fees cost me more than what they saved me. Just beware, they tell you great things, but so far aren't really delivering for me. Hope if you choose to work with them you have better luck than I have. I am unfortunately stuck with them for now due to structured settlements they already have setup for me.

I like that my debt is being paid down quickly.
What i don't like is i can't adjust what gets paid over another debt. The fees are outrageous.
If there was less fees that'd be applied towards my debt I'd change star ratings.
Edit:
I understand fees. I don't mind fees. These fees are about half of what they settle for. It should be 1/4 so that my debt gets paid down faster.

Freedom Debt relief is amazing. I had 80 grand of debt that was charged off and a law suit against me. They were able to help me get the law suit dropped and negotiated my debt way down because of them I’m okay now. I got most of all
My debts negotiated to way less than what they were when I enrolled. I’m now free from the program and ready to build my new life. Thank you so much team at FDR

I don’t feel this experience has been a good move for me. The guidance and counseling I received. May not have been the best move. Credit went fro 765 down to about 500. You were supposed to help me. I think you all destroyed me.
