Great product but customer service is poor

I received the Hyper Pro (from the UK website) and multiple attachments last week. The product itself is solid and assembling it was really easy thanks to the instructions they include.
However, while this is a great piece of equipment, it isn't right for me for a couple of reasons, so I have decided to return it. The website says that I have 30 days to return the product, regardless of the reason (and this was a major factor in why I decided to buy it).
I have emailed them twice now as well as messaged them on Instagram, and no response. This despite the fact that I messaged them about a question I had about something else and they responded within 24 hours.
It's a shame that such a good product is let down by this really poor customer service.

What a fantastic company!
I have bought the Nordic Hyper Pro and honestly my best bit of gym equipment. I have the Glute Ham Developer, the leg developer and the upper body developer and this kit is awesome. It feels so high-end and easily the best home leg set-up you'll get. I've just seen the belt attachment that has just been released which I will be buying!

The Hyper pro and Freak Athletes outstanding team.

I had done a ton of research on their original hyper pro machine years ago and always wanted to purchase it but didn’t get around to it due to not having a place to put it. Years later they came out with the hyper pro machine 2 and I was confident this would be exactly what I needed in my gym. A few things I was worried about stopped me from just buying it though. The first one was would it be tough enough to be used by people who may not have ever even seen this piece of equipment and two how would the shipping and building of it be handled. I reached out via email and was sent to Josh who called me to chat about it. I can’t even begin to express how helpful and nice Josh was at every step of this process. He explained the hyper pro to me and all the benefits and how it’d be a perfect fit for my gym. I ended up going through with the purchase and we had a day set for me to be at the gym to pick it up. Unfortunately the shipping company they were using was slower than expected and didn’t get the message to ship it to me. I was fine with this but it was a bit of an inconvenience and instead of just letting it slide Josh gave me a full refund on my shipping. He didn’t need to do that and the fact that he did showed me how confident he was in the product and dedicated to keeping his customers happy. The hyper pro showed up and was packaged really well. I had no issues with broken pieces or scratches. The building of the hyper pro is also a breeze thanks to the step by step video they link you to via a card that comes in the packaging. I’ve been using the hyper pro with one of my clients who has specifically had lower back pain for years now and has tried everything from acupuncture, to massage therapy, and even a chiropractor and he says hands down the hyper pro is the reason why his back finally went from an 8 for pain down to a 1 and we’ve only been using it for about two months! He says he goes days without noticing it and if you’re someone who has lower back issues you need to look into this product. Thank you for all the help and for making such a fantastic product it’s well worth the money.

They are scammers

They are scammers, since 1.1 telling me they shipped my leg developer but didnt. They made frim their side “new order” to just postpone delivery!!! Dont buy anything

I ordered the Hyper Pro

I ordered the Hyper Pro, GHD Attachment × 1 and Leg Developer Attachment + Upper Body Kit Bundle × 1 Nov 25th. They promised shipping is until 30th Nov.

Today Jan 10. the Leg Developer Attachment has been delivered. But the Hyper Pro is still nowhere. They sent me a tracking link. But there is absolutely no movement. Since Nov 29. It even looks like the shipping company never got the packets. The support/service is poor! They just check the tracking link, which doesnt solve the problem. It's super frustrating and disappointing.

Excellent customer service and product

I pre-ordered the Nordic Pro bench with the GHD pad, but because of a home renovation, the boxes sat un-opened and not used. About 2 months after delivery, when my gym room was ready, I assembled the Nordic Pro bench but noticed the Nordic pad (the main pad) was cut. The shipment was packaged very well, but this clearly happened in shipping and I was worried that because I let sit for so long I wouldn't receive a favorable response from the company. But I worried for nothing; they just asked for a picture of the damage and immediately shipped a new pad.

The product itself is incredible, I absolutely love the Nordic Pro and GHD. The assembly and 'how to use' videos are also excellent. Once my FM-6 arrives and is set up I'll probably look to order the leg developer attachment too.

The price point is a touch high, but know that you're getting an excellent product with a customer service team that has your back!

do not recommend

I ordered and paid for the freak athlete leg developer back in May, with a promise of delivery in September. That promise was bogus, and it was promised by Oct 30. It is now November, I have not received my product or correspondence from FA after attempting to reach out. A couple months ago, freak athlete promised a weekly update email on the let developer. That update lasted 2 weeks and I haven’t received an update since. I do not have my product that I paid for in full exactly 6 months ago next week. No matter which form of communication I’ve used, I get no response. I’ve been told several different things on several different platforms but the 1 main thing is obvious… all issues go ignored unless posted in a public forum that would affect their sales. The phone number provided for assistance? Ha! No response. I wish I could have my 1200$ back for the entirety of the Nordic hyper and I hope someone more tech savvy than me finds a way to get the word out this company sucks. Update: tried calling the number below (same as was advertised on the website) and still no answer

I recently I no longer trust the company

I recently purchased a Wheelbarrow Sled. The pull mode works fine, the push mode is awkward because of misaligned handle poles, and the wheelbarrow mode is basically unusable for workouts. When in wheelbarrow mode the sled forces you to walk oddly slanted in the direction of the bent R handle pole. This uneven walking gate makes using the wheelbarrow mode of the sled unnecessarily uncomfortable and workouts uneven. I can't believe the intended user experience of the wheelbarrow sled is meant to feel unsafe and uneven. I received an email from Benji the founder telling me difference should not be noticeable in use, sadly it is very noticeable. I have requested a refund based on their "30 day money-back guarantee" and have heard nothing. I was really excited about this product but I honestly can't recommend it and regret my purchase. I no longer trust the company due to lack of product support, no resolution on my issue from customer support, and how the founder Benji replied to my issue. I am also waiting on the leg developer attachment for the nordic and have very low confidence that I will ever receive it.

I ordered the freak athlete with the…

I ordered the freak athlete with the leg extension/ leg curl attachment over three months ago and I continue to get a delay email. I spent over $1000 dollars and still missing the most important piece of the equipment!!! First was supposed to be delivered in September but stated new update which delayed it to October waiting for the attachment to ship and just got another email stating customs is doing a audit I wish I never went through this company!!!!!

The item I have received is well built…

The item I have received is well built and does what they say it does but I am still awaiting the leg developer. They said during original order in June it would be delivered in September but got delayed as they changed design without consulting customers if they were happy to wait longer. I am assuming so they could ship the new pro add-ons design. Two weeks out from the reviewed delivery date and they must delay it again due to packaging problems, it seems like constant delays. Customer service is really letting this product down.

I was delivered with the wonderful machine which has an excellent built quality.

As a medical doctor specialist dealing specially with highly ranked athletes, I can certify that this engin has been well designed to strengthen, stretch and build all the postural chains muscles and I do highly recommend it.

Pretty awesome, but...

I would like to start by saying this is a great piece of kit, I use it way more than I thought I would. My only two complaints would be 1) the velcro GHD pad is not that secure, especially after a few uses (noted they have an update pad, but that's going to cost you to fix their design flaw).

The other complaint and is the reason for the 3 stars, is their crazy wait times on international shipping. I ordered a leg developer to attach to my other Freak Athlete machine in July.....3 months later my order is still being processed.

First, we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing security issues with the velcro GHD pad. While we still stand by the version of the pad, it was created with the idea of making it as affordable as possible for us to make, and therefore as affordable as possible for our customers.

We did go ahead and make a new GHD pad, and this time, we spared no expense to make the best pad we possibly could. It costs us about 10x more to make, so it is sold as a separate attachment on our website, but for Nordic Hyper customers, we include the free Pro Upgrade Kit with purchase so you can make upgrades to your existing machine in order to match the capability of the new Hyper Pro! I also want to apologize for the long wait time. We had to push back the release of the Leg Developer, as our Founder/CEO and Head of Product found some ways to improve the original model, and we wouldn't be able to accept the possibility of shipping out an item that could be improved.

For that reason, we delayed all Leg Developers and automatically upgraded everyone to the new model, free of additional charge. We did send out a few emails regarding the delay, and I apologize if you didn't receive them. If that is the case, make sure to let me know what your email is so I can add you to the list going forward!

Speedy international delivery
