A tiny component can cause you to buy an entire new set.

When a tiny component of your recorder breaks, you have to throw away the entire set including all purchased camera's.

I had recorder FN7104W NVR with 4 camera's F19900W. Due to a power outage (which can happen to anyone) the recorder boot drive was corrupted (it does not boot the OS anymore, but the device is not broken). This should be an easy fix. The company cannot fix this or does not want to invest in fixing this. I was just a few months out of warranty.

They advised me to get rid of the entire set and purchase a new recorder with new camera's. The old model cannot be purchased anymore and my camera's only work with that specific recorder (not compatible with any other model)

The set seemed to work fine while operational. But keep in mind that you may only use it durnig your warranty period. Models often change and they cannot fix their stuff. Camera's are not compatible with other models of recorder. Without the recorder my camera's are useless.

Items are not in stock with useless customer service.

Placed an order for two cameras and a week later, after asking why my order had not been shipped yet, I’m told the cameras are not in stock. Fix your website or notify during checkout that you are selling an item that you do not have in stock. Currently on email 4 trying to get my money back but your customer service states the item should be back in stock soon. That was another lie, CANCEL THIS ORDER AND ISSUE MY REFUND TODAY! Order #XXXXX $209.99.

My order was placed online and I…

My order was placed online and I received a text confirming that the order was placed. It did not contain an order number or tracking information. The cameras arrived without a packing slip or any information about shipping or returns. Simply two cameras in a brown box. My contractor informed me that I had ordered the wrong cameras so it was necessary to return the first order. So far, I have received no information about how to return them. I went ahead and ordered the correct cameras which are now installed. The most recent communication with Foscam was an attempt to get me to keep the first set for a 10% discount!
Consumers expect the following when they order online:
Order number, tracking information, return information. None of this was provided by this company. Would not recommend.

Customer Support RMA Process Terrible

I ordered 2 outdoor cameras from Foscam in November 2024. When they arrived I realized they would not work properly in my situation so I requested an RMA. After a couple of emails I finally received the RMA information and returned the 2 items to a location in California. Even with Proof of Delivery, Foscam continued to delay refunding my purchase less than a 10% restocking charge. I followed up numerous times via email and was promised each time that the refund was "being processed", and that if I didn't receive it within a few days I should write back. I finally gave up communicating with their customer support and disputed the charge with the credit card company. It still took them another 2 months to finally resolve the issue. I cannot comment on the quality of the cameras, but I can tell you the customer support team, especially when it comes to returns and refunds, is very poor. I would never consider purchasing anything else directly from Foscam

Foscam makes a great wireless camera very easy to install and set up. Using it also it is very nice especially with all the different options avaible that can easily be change / adjusted from your phone using the Foscam app. Unbelievable what you get for what the cost is. A highly suggested camera.

Cameras are great, question service

I really enjoy and think the product is very good. I believe the cameras all work like they should. I use or have many cameras from foscam and have no issue. The reason for the 3 stars is customer service. Last week I accidentally ordered the wrong camera, I noticed it when I un-boxed it. I emailed right away and asked if I could send it back and simply exchange it. The response I received back was sure for a stupid amount of restocking fee and then shipping back. The amount to send back for exchange was close to the amount of camera! So I ordered the right camera that I needed and simply kept the wrong one and will try and sell it.
