I highly recommend avoiding this place

I highly recommend avoiding this place! My coworker and I went here because it was conveniently close to our office and the doctors were in-network with our insurance.

We were assured that the appointments we scheduled would be fully covered by our insurance. I had a check-up for athlete's foot, and my coworker had one for hair loss.

However, what they failed to mention is that none of the lab work was covered. I received a bill for $432, and I never even got the test results. My coworker's bill was $900 for the same situation.

I've called the office multiple times and left several messages, but no one answers. The voicemail promises a call back within 24 hours, but we never received any response.

Don't waste your hard-earned money here at the berwyn location

NOT GOING BACK

I'm not one to leave messages but this time I can't stand how angry I left there and so that it doesn't happen again to someone else. I have been working for this appointment since December 2024 because for my health insurance I needed a referral that only lasts 1 month, when I was finally able to get it, I proceed to make the appointment and the person who attended me did not realize that She gave me the appointment for a date that the referral was going to be expired. I arrive 15 min. early on the day of the appointment, the lady on the front tells me to start filling out some paperwork for a new patient and they know that it takes a while, and the secretary waits for me to finish and tells me that the REFERRAL is EXPIRED??? What office waits on the same day as a patient's appointment to tell them that their referral is expired. Well, she tells me to call my primary care physician so I can get another referral for today. Not believing that they have made an appointment with the expired referral, I call my doctor, and I manage to get him to fax another referral, and I sit in the lobby to wait, and I see that no one does anything in the office. I stand up to them to ask if the fax number I gave them was the correct one and the secretary tells me in that moment that the 15 minutes of grace have passed so that the doctor could see me today. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. I told her that how was it possible that this was NOT MY FAULT that the person who made the appointment did it knowing that the referral was going to be expired and the most that bothered me was that the secretary would see me sitting there and NOT TELL ME THAT THEY COULD NO LONGER SEE ME. I WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE.

Horrible management experience

I have seen PA Patrick McNeil in 2023 and 2024 for several appointments and 100 percent agree with all positive reviews-professional and knowledgeable and friendly. Given that I grew up in Russia where the culture is friendly, I did like this doctor and found him not only professional and knowledgeable but also caring and friendly as well which like other positive reviews said almost a rare trait these days. However, I had the most horrible experience with the management of this company including the local manager, regional manager, and VP of compliance who made false claims about me, what I consider discriminated against me based on disability (post kidney transplant) and national heritage (grew up in Russia) and ultimately terminated me and denied my medical care and also possibly used me as collateral damage as I have since found online that this company has a history of suing their employees or employees suing them. They falsely accused me of something I never did or said and then twisted it and said supposedly I made allegations against one of their doctors which I never made. I had 0 trouble or made any allegations against any of their doctors. It is just appalling what happened to me and the amount of lies and what I consider bulling that caused me severe emotional distress that transpired. I am using this not only to share my experience but also possibly as a platform to ask for help. I already asked through a lawyer to either reinstate me as we live in a small area with limited resources (I do not drive long distance) or compensate me for damages including severe emotional distress but they refused. They have also stated in the correspondence with my lawyer who represented me in asking them to either reinstate or compensate me that they would not hesitate to sue me if I were to post a negative review. Well, I am a US citizen and have lived in this country for more than 30 years now and freedom of speech is The First Amendment of the United States Constitution. I am writing this to practice my constitutional right regardless of what this company communicated to my lawyer as I have already had enough intimidation and bullying and it is not my character to make false claims against anyone. In my honest opinion the management and VP of compliance of this company that I guess is to uphold the law and to make sure the company does not discriminate and/or makes false accusations against patents or doctors, conspired together and bullied me collectively with their false claims and allegations against me prior to what I consider unlawfully dismissing me. When I tried to stand up for my rights as a patient and refute their false accusations against me, I guess they considered it "unsolicited communication" as one of the reasons that they provided to me for termination and were what I consider to be extremely hostile and dismissive of my valid concerns. More than that, I would like this type of what I consider corruption and discrimination to be investigated and to stop if anybody can assist as I never wish another disabled patient or patient of different national origin or race or any patient of US origin to be treated as I was treated. At no time did I make any allegations against any of their doctors as there were none to make. However, I see some negative reviews posted by others and wonder if like me other patients have been terminated for making what my termination letter stated "allegations" or if I was terminated based on disability and national heritage and/or used as collateral damage while I actually made 0 complaints and/or allegations orally or in writing against any of their doctors. I do not remember who I might have seen prior to Mr. Patrick McNeil but I had 0 complaints against any of their providers and like all the positive reviews believe Mr. McNeil to be a great doctor. To be fair to the doctor as I post this review under the doctor who provided excellent care, I do give this doctor 5 star review but I give this management minus 100 review or I guess 0 stars.

I was rushed through my visit

I was rushed through my visit. Several ladies were in my room at once and that was uncomfortable. This provider is in my network and an abnormal mole was removed during my visit. I was billed a very large amount for the lab services bc an out of network dr was used. That was not my doing. Forefront made that mistake and I am still fighting with insurance and trying to get forefront to adjust bill. My date of service was 3/29. Beyond ridiculous. I am so frustrated and have had so much anxiety over this bill. I need help with it. Advocating for myself has gotten me nowhere. I am going to have to call an insurance advocate next.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

1. You think you’re making an appointment with an actual doctor. You’re not. You’re seeing a nurse.
2. They don’t even know why you’re there, despite the reason given for booking the appointment. If you decide to have an actual procedure done, this is yet another appointment with another person. Leading to …
3. BILLING. They miscode the visit, leading to an exorbitant bill that the insurance won’t pay. Billing is beyond rude on the phone and doesn’t correct the problem - no matter how many times you call.

GO ELSEWHERE.

High cost and uncomfortable visit...

During my recent visit to Forefront Dermatology in Chesterfield, MO, I was disappointed by the unexpectedly high cost of wart removal. Moreover, I felt excluded as a parent, and my 13-year-old daughter was uncomfortable with the doctor’s sole focus on her.

We go to Tennessee River Dermatology in…

We go to Tennessee River Dermatology in Athens, Alabama. My husband was billed for 2 surgical procedures at 800.00 for 2 spots burned off with nitrogen by the nurse practitioner. I called billing they said the correct codes were billed and the office manager Leslie said they couldn't correct the claim since a 3rd party biller Forefront Dermatology does their billing. This is flat out fraud! I am on with UHG as we speak filing an appeal and requesting a utilization review. Forefront manager Lewis M. replied with a link to contact them directly. When I searched that link nothing comes up. We will definitely not be going back!

Took my money and left

Took my money and left. The appointment lasted 10 minutes. Paid 178 dollars for a doctor who did not even care. Doctor clearly was not knowledgeable about my situation and didn’t refer me to someone who was knowledgeable. All I wanted was a discussion about PRP. He told me this, “the only thing he could do was get me finasteride.” I was not in there because the treatment I was already doing wasn’t working, it is. The problem is that I was exploring PRP options and he basically cut me off did not listen. Very irritating. And he was a jerk in my opinion. Find somewhere else. The doctor didn’t even know he didn’t have a clue. Jokes on me setting up an appointment at this office.

Medical Office Billing

After a visit to a medical office months ago, I called customer service for an explanation of the continued and inflated billing this company sends. Apparently an office in Milwaukee handles the billing. The response was unsympathetic and shrill, and the invoicing, as so often in the medical industry, was difficult to read, incomplete and insufficient for payment until further documentation arrived. Mismanaged and not there to serve the customer . . . and we are forced to tolerate this because we need the medical service? Bottom line: Overpriced, under-serviced, money hungry. Another medical care grab for the patient pocketbook. Where is the "care" part of medicine when it is all about the money?
