The footware arrived quickly. Unfortunately the box showed a different size to that, that was on shoes.
I returned them and got a refund. I had asked for my postage to be reimbursed as the contents of box had obviously not been checked to see error. That didn't happen.

Excellent retailer of top quality…

Excellent retailer of top quality footwear. Since new owner James took over he has been exemplary in helping us with our purchase. So understanding and cannot do enough to please. Would recommend this company to anyone considering a purchase of top quality international footwear.

SCAM

Sandals still not received after two months. Seller has not responded to any of my emails and now, the emails are not delivering at all. I have raised a case with Paypal as this website/seller appears to be a scammer. AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!

I have received two pairs of shoes that…

I have received two pairs of shoes that do not fit me costing over £200.
I cannot find a telephone number for Footwear4You anywhere on their sites or elsewhere only an email address and they are not replying to any of my emails. Is this a scam company?
PS I have just seen that I have a 'delivery not possible' email saying that the email they give out does not exist. THIS IS DEFINITELY A SCAM

I received an email to say my order would be delayed until August but have not been able to reply to their email as the email address is no longer working. And there is no phone number to call!

Quality slippers at a great price

Quality slippers at a great price. I wanted a pair of Shepherd of Sweden slippers to replace my well worn previous pair. After a quick search I found the ones I was looking for at Footwear 4 You at the best price around.

Order and delivery was straight forward and quick and the slippers are perfect. I did make one call to get an update on a refund for a second (larger) pair I’d ordered at the same time. After a quick friendly chat with the owner, Jeff he reassured my refund would be with me by the end of the week. True to his word, this was the case.

Thanks again for a great service. I’ll definitely be back in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Footwear 4 You

Good experience and lovely slippers!

I placed my order for reduced slippers and they were with me within a couple of days and well packaged. No issues at all. It would be worth checking whether items are in stock and ready to ship as no doubt a wait will be involved if not which other reviews seem to suggest. I however was delighted with the service I received from Footwear4You.

Still waiting for my refund ....

Ordered some Mephisto boots before Christmas. They arrived in a very battered box. Weren't right so I sent them back tracked delivery and they were definitely delivered. No refund two months later. Have emailed to chase this, no reply. Wish I'd read other reviews before parting with my money! They sell very expensive shoes so you would expect much better service.

Brilliant customer service !

Brilliant customer service from Jeff. Shoes arrived quickly and well packaged. I rarely leave a review but after reading some of the reviews on this site I thought I would leave a bit of positivity about my transaction. I contacted the shop via telephone and spoke to Jeff who sorted my query out quickly and efficiently and was a pleasure to deal with.

Buy with confidence. Any problems speak to Jeff, He will sort it.

No refund for return of slippers

I ordered a pair of sheepskin slippers in Jan/ Feb this year. Returned them as they didn't fit. I have not received the refund of £60 even after contacting them several times and have not received any communications from them. The slippers were tracked and I have proof they were delivered.

Had a pair of Mephisto Barracuda repaired in July 23. The heels only lasted a year, much shorter than the time since original purchase with no increase in my daily usage. Made the point by email very politely to Footwear4You that the problem lay in using the same rubber composition in an integrated sole and heel and suggested they make this point to Mephisto. No acknowledgement received. You can currently buy new Barracuda for not much more than the repair cost!

I received the wrong shoes on Friday…

I received the wrong shoes on Friday 26th July. I've sent several emails with attached photos of what I ordered and what I received.
The Mephisto trainers I received are not what I ordered. They're a completely different colour.
I've asked Footwear4you for confirmation on how to return these. I paid £195 and they have my money through PayPal. I've put in a Formal complaint to them. I'm hoping we can get this matter resolved soon!!
I've just spoken to Jeff at Footwear4you. He's sending me a label in post to return shoes via Post Office Free of Charge.
He's contacting his colleague in France and I'm now feeling more confident that this will be resolved.
When calling. The name comes up Sheepskin4you. Call was diverted to Jeff.
Jeff has been in touch again. He's ordered the shoes I wanted. I should have them in a couple of weeks.
Label has been sent for me to return shoes FOC.
His colleague in France said they have the same number. But the ones I ordered have black at the end of it.
Jeff has been very helpful and I'm confident this will be resolved.
I'll keep you posted.
Update. I returned the shoes I received on Wednesday via Royal Mail. Jeff at Footwear4you sent me the label. Postage FOC.
I'm now waiting on the shoes I originally ordered and hope to receive them in next couple of weeks. Jeff reordered these for me on Monday 29th July.
I'll keep you updated.

Jeff made contact with me through PayPal to say he'd received the shoes I returned.
He's ordered the shoes I originally ordered and I'm hoping to receive them soon as I'm due to pay my credit card on 15th August. I always pay on time as I don't like to be charged interest.
I'll keep you updated on how things go
12th August.
I spoke to Jeff at Footwear4you today. He has refunded the full amount I paid for the shoes.
Once he receives the ones I ordered he will call me and I'll pay for them then.
I've had absolutely no problem with Jeff since I first spoke to him. Has always been very helpful.
Update 22nd August.
Geoff emailed me today. He should receive my shoes by 30th August and will call me. I will pay for them when he does. All being well I should receive them first week in September. The reason it's taken so long is France was on holiday for 2 weeks and that's where the shoes are coming from.
I'll let you know when I receive them.
Geoff has been very helpful all the way through this.
5th September.
I received my shoes on Monday 2nd September. They are perfect!
Geoff sent them to me prior to taking payment for me to check that these were the correct ones I'd ordered initially and fitted ok.
I called Geoff yesterday and paid for them.
Geoff couldn't have been more helpful from day one.
I can definitely recommend Footwear4you to anyone wishing to place an order with them.
Really lovely to be able to speak to a Human Being and get such great Customer Service. Something that's lacking these days.
I can't thank Geoff enough.

Non delivery after 2 months

AllRounder trainers ordered 19th April and payment taken. 2 months later, no delivery and email ignored, phone call not answered. I have now requested cancellation with refund. Watch this space.

Order received 13 July with apology for delay. I had managed to make telephone contact when I was told the delay was due to manufacturing problems in France. I accepted a different colour, the original order having been discontinued.

When ordering from this company, if you want delivery within a specific time, check that the item is in stock in UK.

Avoid - Worst experience with an online order ever

Avoid, easily the worst company i have ever dealt with. Took my money and i am am still without the shoes 2 months later.

You call the shop number to enquire about your order and it goes to answerphone saying not to call, instead email. I have sent 4 emails, all ignored.

Please do yourself a favour and shop elsewhere,

Only reason getting 4* rather than 5* is the total lack of communication - I emailed twice about delivery times and returns process and got no response. Otherwise - all good.
