Don’t ever get one of the trucks or…

Don’t ever get one of the trucks or vans. They will scam you for damage and blame you for clean up and charge you over $500. I cleaned and mopped my van and they tried to claim I damaged the body and left the truck a mess. Total BS and a scam! I rent a lot of vans and trucks. Never have I been blamed for something like this. But when it’s a scam it’s a scam. They just want your money.

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with…

The worst company I’ve ever dealt with they left a vehicle at my place and would deactivated it and would not pick it up they said they offered a replacement vehicle in which they never brought it they told me to pay and left me with a vehicle that was not drivable and still will not refund my money if you rent from this company and you’ve read all these negative reviews then I do not understand what it will take do you understand this company is complete and total fraud and the people that run this company need to be thrown in prison Someone needs to start a class action

Do not use - beware

Avoid Renting from This Company – It Only Gets Worse (used in Los Angeles and Salt Lake City)
We’ve begrudgingly rented from this company for three years in a row, and it has been a progressively worse experience each time. While it's nice to speak with a manager when you can (though they seem to change every year), the customer service team tries but is unable to resolve much. When it comes to dealing with claims, pray that you don't have to. They respond only via email and nickel-and-dime you for anything they can after you rent and return the vehicle.
If you report an issue even one day after pick-up—whether it’s a light, tire, or bumper problem—they will immediately deem you responsible. This year, we even received a notice threatening that if we didn’t update our own insurance, we wouldn’t be covered by the premium insurance we paid extra for. Why are we paying for their premium insurance if we have to cover everything ourselves?
In one rental, we were sent to three different locations and had to go through four vans (with issues ranging from broken mirrors and flat tires to no backup camera and a broken windshield). Each time, we were told the vans were in "excellent" condition. Yes, we were given a discount, but the ordeal was a headache.
It gets worse. They sent a technician to repair a tire, and afterward, the tire pressure light came on. We reported it immediately, but instead of fixing the problem, we were charged for the technician’s mistake with the dashboard lights. Seriously?
On top of that, we paid for a faulty tire that eventually went flat and a loose bumper that fell off—both of which were pre-existing issues with the vehicle. Yet, we were still charged for these problems, despite them being caused by previous renters and poor vehicle maintenance.
We rented in good faith, but the multiple issues we've had are frustrating and costly. This company clearly lacks accountability for maintaining their vehicles, and it's unreasonable for renters to be held responsible for things they didn’t cause. Save yourself the trouble—find another rental company.

Dont Use This Company

This company WILL charge you extra for something. Used them a couple of times and every time I say it will be the last. They don't rent like every other truck rental company, total scam. I returned a truck early to Budget and had a refund within 2 days, early return with Fluid NO REFUND! And you can't talk to anyone that can make a decision at all. Horrible experience.

SCAM! Unhappy FVIP customer

One of our vans sold at auction in April 2024 and we still have not received proceeds. We get an automated response of "we are working on this matter" but no resolution. Meanwhile they are sitting on our money. Working with Fluid has been a NIGHTMARE, with limited communications. Vans would be out of commission with no communications to the FVIP members, insurance claims not paid out. Still waiting on an almost $5K claim from 2023 to be paid to us.

These guys are scam

These guys are scam. Random charges and false damage claims. You cannot speak to anyone over the phone. Emails goes to dark hole.

I worked on their trucks for 3 years…

I worked on their trucks for 3 years and had no problems with there photos and uploading requirements until Aug. of '23 then they just stopped paying. Total loss so far over $1000. No one to speak to and won't answer email sent to fleet Mang. Disappointed to say the least.

Total Fraud

Well I had to have the attorney general…

Well I had to have the attorney general write them a cease and desist collection effort letter on my behalf for trying to scam me out of $3,000 on repairs for their vans. That never occurred that I caught them in a lie and was able to prove easily that their claims reps or regional Representatives were committing acts of fraud against me or attempting to. If you've been charged unscrupulous amounts for damage estimates and repairs on their vans, get online and coordinate with others because there's a large movement of people that are affected and this is a national scam occuring.

The Fluid truck rental denied renting to me

The Fluid truck rental denied renting to me after I sent my drivers license, cell phone bill and gas bill. They basically authorized my credit card for the amount of the truck rental, plus the refundable deposit and vehicle insurance. Now I won’t have a van, so that I can work tomorrow. I won’t be making any money and I really wish I had known this company was difficult with their rental process. Next time, I’m renting from U-Haul. Their app is better and they don’t authorize your card until you actually pick up the vehicle. Also, fluid chat service is non responsive, when you chat with a live agent. The agent I was dealing with never responded to my chats. The agent just responded to my emails after sent my required documents and sent the chat. This rental truck company is unprofessional and I will take legal action against them for mentally wasting my time and especially if they don’t refund me the amount they deducted from my card. I didn’t realize this company had bad reviews before I started with them. The reason why I wanted to rent with them was because I thought they were a reputable company here in Georgia but I was wrong. They scam just like these other companies. All these rental companies are so expensive, it’s ridiculous.

Really disappointed that even when I got confirmed I was canceled last moment. When a reservation is made the system shouldn't let extend it just like in u-hual. Now I don't have a vehicle for tomorrow.

No stars Fluid is trash company full of crooks

Half a star. Garbage ass company that scams you to take your money. Forced my reservation to end in the middle of delivering to a customer. Refused to turn it back on to get home Also did not honor previous agreement between me and the lender. They also proceeded to send an employee to my house on sketchy business to lie to my face about the van. Never received no notice or text about shutting it off in which they said they would inform me to prior They are crooks. Spent so much money with them they acted like wasn’t gonna pay them. No wonder they left my market no one wants to deal with scam artist like that. Ryder and Penske are the better option. Thanks fluid for all your garbage help

Fluid unfortunately is horrible

Fluid unfortunately is horrible! They started off good for my catering company but have turned into monsters. I went to rent a van only to the key fob not being in the van. Called customer service and they proceeded to tell me that the van needed repairs. I had reserve this van for over a week. I hung up on customer service for them to call me back and hang up on me lol. That confirm how much of a joke fluid is. Going to rent elsewhere!

Made a reservation then they cancelled

I just made a reservation in the morning and received confirmation explaining how to check vehicle upon pickup. Then hours later I receive an email that I cancelled my reservation which I did not. A refund is processing but I had to contact them to figure out why the cancellation on one I did not submit. Response I received was "vehicle to not available". Wait... What?????

Don't trust this company

Don't trust this company. They are skimmers. They got my husband's driver's license, credit card and other personal. information and than said that he doesn't meet the safety requirements. He doesn't have any tickets, accidents he is a exceptional driver. The other thing I am thinking is they are complete racists and illitarate. I tried calling them but they just say that you didn't meet the safty requirements and dropping calls. I am not going to leave this like this. I am sooo pissed.

Same like all other reviews, these people are scammers. This took over $1lk from me only to deny me of a rental. It takes many days to get those funds back from the so called refund which I am not even sure I am getting. I RECOMMEND NOT USING THEM, I AM WORKING OM REPORTING THEM EVERYWERE I CAN STARTING HERE. I HAVE YET TO GET A REFUND STILL SO AT THIS POINT I AM NOT SURE ONE WILL BE ISSUD, THERE IS THE SAME SO CALLED REP EERYTIME I REACHED OUT THEY DO NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY AN WILL SOON BE SHUT DOWN!!!

Here is what to expect from renting…

Here is what to expect from renting with Fluid rental. They are going to charge you a $150 deposit before the rental fees or any add ons. That fee will take 5-8 working days to be refunded. They will charge you an exorbitant amount for fuel if you return the vehicle without refueling it. They claim it has to have as much as it had when it was picked up - but I suspect based on what they charged me that it was the cost to fill the tank. Never assume the mileage is free. Each vehicle can potentially handle mileage charges differently, so make sure to thoroughly look at the details for each vehicle you may potentially rent. These things are outlined in their FAQ but most people never read that stuff till they have a problem. Other than that - the experience was good. Vehicle location was convenient, ran well and drop off was convenient.

A Disastrous Experience: Abandoned and Disappointed by Fluid Truck

My encounter with Fluid Truck has been nothing short of a nightmare. After a regrettable incident involving one of their vehicles causing damage to my property, I reached out to them for assistance and resolution. Little did I know that I was about to embark on a frustrating and disheartening journey that would leave me feeling abandoned and utterly disappointed. Despite waiting for several months, their response, or rather lack thereof, made it abundantly clear that they had no intention of taking responsibility for the damage caused.

The sheer level of negligence and disregard for customer satisfaction exhibited by Fluid Truck is appalling. From the moment I reported the incident, I was met with nothing but empty promises and constant delays. Countless phone calls and emails went unanswered, leaving me in a state of perpetual anxiety and uncertainty. It became increasingly evident that they had no intention of addressing the issue promptly or providing any form of compensation for the damage they had caused.

To make matters worse, when I finally managed to get a response after months of persistence, I was met with the shocking revelation that I was on my own. Fluid Truck blatantly refused to acknowledge their responsibility, citing absurd excuses and shifting the blame onto external factors beyond their control. It was a devastating blow, realizing that I would have to shoulder the financial burden of repairing the damage caused by their negligence. This callous dismissal of their duty to rectify the situation only served to compound my frustration and disappointment.

In the end, my experience with Fluid Truck has left me feeling utterly betrayed and unsupported. Their lack of professionalism and failure to take responsibility for the damage they caused is not only a clear reflection of their character but also a testament to their disregard for customer satisfaction. I strongly caution anyone considering engaging with this company to think twice, as they have proven themselves to be unreliable and unwilling to rectify their mistakes. Save yourself the heartache and frustration by seeking out a company that values its customers and upholds its responsibilities.
