I have been working with Chris from Fitlab since November 24. The whole process so far has been excellent!
Chris listened to what I wanted to achieve, and also advised on additional goals that he thought would benefit my “fitness journey”. There was no pressure, and from the outset I felt comfortable with his knowledge, experience and his personal and bespoke approach to fitness.
As a busy 44 year old dad of 3, I needed a sustainable programme that I could follow not just in the short term but for the foreseeable future. Chris has guided me through an initial scientific based 12 week fat loss programme, this was structured and actually enjoyable!!! I got down to my lowest body fat %age in years (10%) and was still able to attend social events and holidays! Chris ensures a level of accountability that I have not had with previous trainers, and concentrated on both lifestyle and my mentality, which have both significantly improved as well as my physique.
Following on from the “diet phase” we worked on a reverse diet and building phase, and I am now at a point where I am eating lots of food and maintaining my best physique…….I am still the leanest Inhave been and get compliments from friends and family on a daily basis. I have learnt so much from Chris re nutrition along the way, and how to manage my diet.
I train 4 times a week, with progressive overload, and Chris checks in multiple times a week and alters my programme accordingly, depending on my upcoming holidays / performance activities etc.
Honestly, one of the best things I have done to get fit, feel healthier, and improve my wellbeing! Would strongly recommend to anybody who is serious about getting into the best shape, and mindset, of their life!
