The Endeavour Black Titanium

Purchased the Endeavour Black Titanium as a birthday present for my partner. The watch arrived promptly and was very well packaged ensuring no damage. The Endeavour Titanium is beautiful and looks so classy. Customer service received was excellent and I would definitely recommend Farer to anyone looking for something different!

Amazing experience…not

Amazing experience. Got a 36mm resolute and the small strap was a few mm smaller than what they claim on the website (the small version do NOT fit 17.5mm wrist as they claim but, max 17.1-17.2). However they immediately sent me another one in medium and even allowed me to change the color. Fantastic customer service from Jade.

Update. Package never arrived and when I inquired it was stuck in customs and Farer did not take charge of the custom duties, reason for the delay. A job not done to its fullest is not a good job, especially when selling luxury products. Expecting me to pay custom duties on their mistake is simply unacceptable. Also not letting me know that the package was stuck in duties for a week was not appreciated. Management also tried to refund me on Paypal but at that point the entire experience was ruined on a 12 euro custom duty. I confirm sloppy customer service but interesting watch.

I recently bought the Foxe world timer

I recently bought the Foxe world timer. It exceeded my expectations. The build and quality is to the highest standard and I love the green dial. I chose to go for a agave green leather strap but also added the additional bracelet. Both look great on the watch. I initially had some trouble understand the inner disc but customer services could not of been more helpful. They were able to give me clear instructions and I have been enjoying the watch ever since. This is my first Farer watch but will certainly not be my last.

Good and bad.

I recently purchased a Farer Lethbridge. The watch was gorgeous but had a defect in that the small seconds hand was stuck. I sent it back and received no apology, only a blasé comment from the owner saying it was a minor issue and that they had fixed it. I was unimpressed and cancelled the order. A few weeks later I ordered it again and this time received a perfect specimen, which was gorgeous and worked really well, with good precision. Then I decided to order a Stanhope II. When I received it I had a good look at it but, unlike the Lethbridge, it failed to captivate me - I decided to return it. It took me several emails to elicit any response from customer service and the refund came several days after the return, but only because of my prompting. There is no reason to delay refunds when the item is returned in pristine condition, it just annoys customers and frankly puts them off. I am now concerned about ordering again from Farer because my trust has been harmed by their attitude. Their watches are expensive and high end, yet they treat their customers as if they were buying cheap tat.

Lovely Design But Useless Aftercare

Love the design of these watches - own two, BUT and it is a big BUT, if you have an after sales issue, like many report below, there is a complete lack of care, interest or help.

One of my Farer watches stopped working three days after the 5 year warranty expired and there was ZERO interest from them trying to either work out why or considering extending the warranty if it was a warranty issue. The tone of the response was flippant and galling.

My regular watch repairer suspects either a broken main spring or worn automatic winding mechanism (both cheap and easy to fix and a lot cheaper than a full service), either of which should not go after such a short time (regardless of whether it is serviced which, with this sort of mechanism, should not be required every 3-4 years as Farer require - 5 years would be the very minimum). These ETA watch mechanisms can run much, much longer than that without a service - (if it ain't broke, don't fix it).

Anyway, buy with care, you may be fine, but don't bother trying to get support. They will bat it off in the hope you will go away.

Watch brands are built on how people feel about the product and the people behind it and this sort of attitude does everything to damage that brand from within. Certainly not a watch brand I will be recommending to friends as they do zero to help the small percentage of people who will experience issues. A very short sighted attitude.

Faulty

Good looking watch, terrible functionality. I sent mine back over 4 times and they haven't fixed it. They are non responsive, I had a pretty dismissive exchange with the owner and no culpability for it being faulty.

I would look elsewhere.

I love this company

I received my second watch today, the Farer Mansfield and I am absolutely over the moon with it. I had a query on the order and their support team were punctual and helpful.
This company make some stunning watches, and also have the sales and customer services experience to back up the back up that premium watch experience.

Beautiful products, terrible customer service

I ordered a watch from Farer recently, that was unfortunately too large for my smaller than average wrists.

Before I ordered it, I was reassured by their banner advertising 30 day free returns, but actually getting a refund proved to be a time consuming process. It was 2 weeks between when I sent the item back (using next working day delivery) and when I got a refund, and did not get any response to my enquiry about the status of the return until I left a negative review on their own review site. This lead to them sending me a grumpy message saying they'd had to "zero" the watch strap, as I hadn't complied with their terms and conditions. I'm not entirely sure what part of the terms and conditions they were referring to, and further follow up questions have gone unanswered, but it seemed to me that they should have dealt with the issue on a more professional manner.

If there had been a problem with the strap I would have happily paid for it, even though I only tried the watch on once, but instead of discussing that in a mature way they just sent me a grumpy message.

On the plus side, I did receive a full refund, but will not be ordering anything from them again.

Farer Discover II - Very Nice Watch

I purchased a 39mm Farer Discovery II from the Farer website. I liked the color of the dial and the slim 10mm profile of the case. There are several bands to choose from. I chose the Navy Barenia leather strap and added a stainless steel bracelet as well. My wrist measures 7 inches. I have a Tudor Heritage BB and a Yema Superman that both feel a little bulky and I wanted something that was a little dressier and a little more comfortable to wear. The Farer does not disappoint. It is very comfortable and quite eye catching. The purple dial looks dark blue or almost black until the light hits it. It winds smoothly and the fit and finish is of high quality. It keeps great time and the 68 hour power reserve is legit.

The website does a good job of showing you what you will receive. I found the pictures and video to be true to color and I wasn’t surprised with anything when I unpackaged the watch.

Shipping and customer service was excellent. I ordered the watch on a Monday and requested custom engraving which Farer stated would push back the delivery time. I received the watch on Thursday. So from England to Missouri USA with custom engraving in roughly 36 hours……not too shabby IMHO. Very happy with my purchase.

An absolute joke of a company

An absolute joke of a company. The watch is visually attractive but the quality is poor and 5-year guarantee non existent. Since buying my Farer Stark I have had multiple problems and each time I have sent it back to the company I have received a snarky email from the founder accusing me of either lying, deliberately damaging the watch or trying to repair it myself and that the guarantee is not valid.

The first time the watch started letting in water and the glass was fogging. He founder accused me of damaging the watch deliberately and that I would have to pay for repairs (not covered by the guarantee).

The second them I dropped the watch in the bathroom and the glass popped out - I emailed and explained what happened and he accused me of lying and that I must have tried to force the glass off. Why on earth would I do this? I sent the watch in and had to pay for repairs (apparently this isn't covered by the guarantee either).

The third time the glass broke (my fault) so I sent it in for repair and refurbishment and covered the costs of what should have been refurbishment. When I received the watch back it wasn't keeping time accurately so I emailed them to let them know and sent it in for repair. This time the founder accused me of putting the watch through "some sort of trauma" and trying to repair it myself - again, why on earth would I try and repair a watch myself? And that again I would be charged for repairs.

This company is an absolute joke. The founder seems incapable of accepting that his products are not up to standard and the much publicised "5-year guarantee" is non-existent. Avoid at all costs

Well built and functional eye candy.

Purchased the Lomond and was suitably impressed. It is a well built and extremely attractive watch that sits in the sweet spot. I bought it due to the interesting application of colours and the date hand complication. The engagement with Farer was ease itself and after ordering the watch it wasn't long before the Lomond was on my wrist. I prefer it on the leather strap but it also comes with a metal bracelet. In the month that it has been in my possession there hasn't been any timekeeping anomalies.

Very happy Farer customer

I bought the Lander lll from Farer and couldn’t be happier. It was a beautiful timepiece and of such a quality build.

Secondarily, the way in which it was presented, gave it such a wonderful customer experience.

I would not hesitate buying from them again.
