I wouldn't bother.

To be kind to F1TV, I am going to say that I misread the advertisement. I then wrote for clarification and an explanation. Five days later no response so I wrote again asking for the same clarification. Five days later no response.

I went on line and cancelled my subscription. Two hours later I got a text and was asked why I had cancelled.

Moral of the experience! Hit them in the pocket, then they take notice.

There is literally no customer service. The streaming quality is appalling. I can stream multiple 8K videos on Youtube simultaneously, but F1TV won't even stream at basic HD - even on a REPLAY. The issue is regardless of device - PC (multiple browsers), ROKU TV, Phone, all are impossibly bad to watch. When I signed up 3 years ago this was truly great, now it's a steaming turd. Regretting having renewed this.

F1TV app poor show

Purchase F1TV app to follow races (due to hospital stays) but never worked. All the races calendars and schedules are there but impossible to watch. Stay away from this app it’s a con. Asked for a refund it was denied. So if there was a zero star rating that would be it.

I was charged twice for an F1TV: Refusing refund for duplicate charge – violating Dutch and EU law

I was charged twice for an F1TV subscription – once directly via their website and once via Apple iTunes – and only received access once. Despite providing full documentation, F1TV has refused to refund one of the charges, citing their "internal refund policy."

I live in the Netherlands, and under Dutch Civil Code Article 6:203, any undue (duplicate) payment must be refunded. The statute of limitation is 5 years (Article 3:308 BW), so their internal policy has no legal weight.

I've now filed complaints with ECC Netherlands, the Dutch Authority for Consumers and Markets, and initiated a chargeback through my bank. I'm also seeking legal advice and will share this publicly to warn others.

It's unacceptable for a global brand like F1TV to ignore European consumer law and force paying customers into legal procedures to get back money that was never owed.

Avoid dealing with F1TV directly – they do not take legal responsibility.

Lots of pumped up thumbnails and "pretty" stuff the technical side lack attention.
You people are betting on the hype of the day, and this is not good long term decision in a sport where the technical stuff is a key component.

Excluded services (without announcement)

The quality of the streaming was bad for the first years and now it got better and all of the sudden they are taking the option to stream on multiple devices out of F1TV-Pro (its been there for over 5 years min.) and you have to buy an upgrade to premuim to get back what you had for years. They also didnt announce it, which is shocking from a cutomer protection point of view.

The presenters and commentary are terrible. Terrible to listen to and even visually. When Palmer or Henchcliff are on it is much better but still not very good. Brundle Jr tries but maybe just needs more time. Very boring personality and not quick on details.

Rubbish & a rip off

Rubbish. Pay to subscribe, but that is not for actual races, just for some idiot to talk. Trying to get the actual race is impossible - I gave up after 2 hours. Useless app, waste of money.

Update: I requested my 4 USD refund and was given an 'incident' number. This website is laughable.

The most important job is to provide a perfect streaming experience 2 hours every (other) week… they can’t. Customer service act like they are stupid ( check internet connection, restart device) and will answer you after a few days. I recommend to get some cheap IPTV subscription, they do a better job

F1TV is to be avoided at all cost

This App comes with Foxtel in Australia. Is almost impossible to sign into. There is no autofill when doing email and passwords, not even @gmail.com or even .com so everything typed. Password is hidden so if you make an error you will not know. So after an hour of frustration and no help Chat Line (aamie did try but she is as confused as I am) I get this on my screen. Is it me or is it ambiguous? "SORRY
We have been unable to link your accounts
It appears you have already synchronised an F1 account with a Foxtel ID." So can they or can they not get me going as they say they cannot link my accounts then say they are synchronised. Same thibg you would think??!!

We enjoy F1 TV and think it is great value for money! Just one question...can you guys please get Ruth Buscombe Divey a stylist? Her hair and clothes are awful, she always looks crumpled and totally inappropriate for a sporting presenter :(

I am close to canceling my subscription.
they do not support any type of casting. also there aren't apps for Samsung and LG tvs. so there is no option to watch from your tv except apple tv.

they limited the number of concurrent active devices, and created a new tier to make us pay more, they have created some stupid features that no one cares about, but they haven't figured out how to watch F1 races on TV.

Incompetent and unwilling…

Most incompetent, badly organized and unwilling 'support' team that I ever encountered in over 20 years. I will spare anyone the details. These guys suffer from amnesia with the employee processing the case changing every 5 minutes without any recollection of what went before, and it takes them 3 days to respond to the most simple questions. There is an utter unwillingness to seriously help, however they do follow just about everything in the book called 'how to mislead and fool my customers'.
Don't waste your time in dealing with these guys; getting a man to land on Mars is much, much easier...

If there could be a 0 stars

If there could be a 0 stars, this would be it.
The app works on Apple gear and so far nothing to argue about it… BUT -
F1TV sends phishing-like emails to their users, asking for payment details even if the subscription is not direct but via other platforms.
When complaining, the user is faced with reality - support is outsourced, poorly trained and not interested in providing service.

The customer service is truly something…

The customer service is truly something else, in the worst way. To quickly start, support does not seem to be trained in new updates and feature; I had a question about a premium subscription feature, which ended with me and support spending an hour or more together trying to BOTH find the answer. They genuinely had no clue and kept giving me conflicting answers.

Much worse, though, was when I upgraded from pro to premium and never received a promised refund for the pro subscription. After over half a month of pestering them (and getting no-answers back) they randomly cancelled my entire subscription with no explanation. When I questioned them about this, they would veer around it and change the subject. They also refused to reinstate the subscription (to clarify, I never wished to cancel it) and told me to resubscribe for full price – I had upgraded with a voucher. They have seemingly no interest to help you, but all the interest of draining your bank of money.
