Morocco Tours: Offering authentic, custom-designed, private Morocco tours. We work with individuals and travel organizers to create a Morocco trip of a lifetime. The clients that we work best with want to experience the real culture and less "touristy spots". They prefer a private trip than group tours. They want traditional, boutique style riads / hotels. They have traveled a lot but want local knowledge from people who’ve lived in Morocco and understand the Arab world. They prefer value and quality over the lowest possible price. Does this sound like you? Looking for your next trip of a lifetime?

Brian did a fantastic job organizing our tour: from the dessert to the winding mountain roads from Skoura to Marrakesh; to the beautiful Riads, the camel rides and ATV tours in the Sahara. Our driver Hassani was amazing: he went out of his way to give us unique experiences like the meat pie that can only be found in Rissani. Thank you Experience It Tours for a very memorable trip!

My best friend and I just returned from an incredible two week adventure in Morocco booked through “experience it tours” our tour was customized based on our desires. The itinerary was very thoughtfully planned out for us. We had a private tour with a great driver named ILLIAS who was both sweet and knowledgeable. We stayed in four and five star Riyadhs and they were all unique , with friendly staff and great food! One of my favorite Riads was in Essaouira , We had an oceanfront room and got to see the sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean from our room! Another favorite Riyad was in Skoura, a little oasis town after the desert. I work in a five star resort in Maui, and this Riyadh was even better! There was an olive tree that was 260 years old and still produces olives.. And of course, riding camels in the desert for sunrise and sunset was so peaceful, serene and beautiful. We opted to not do the ATVs and just ride the camels another day instead.
I would highly recommend a private tour through experience it tours, You won’t be disappointed.
One of the best parts of Morocco is the people, they were so warm, friendly and welcoming.

My wife and I took EIT’s private classic 11-day tour of Morocco in April/May 2025. The tour was very well planned and organized and all the logistics were very smooth. Brian and Amy were extremely helpful and responsive throughout the planning process, and we appreciated Jill meeting us in Fes. Kamal was an excellent driver; he was very attentive to making sure we were comfortable on the long drives, and his explanations of the sights and of Moroccan culture helped make those drives fun and interesting. I like taking lots of pictures and appreciated his extra efforts to find good photo-ops for me. He was extremely reliable, always there at the exact time and place we had planned, and always encouraged us to call/text him any time 24/7 with any questions/requests.
The city guides were very good too, particularly Thami, our guide for the Fes Medina, who was both informative and entertaining. Our guide in Volubilis and our group guide at the Hassan II Mosque were also very good. We enjoyed walking around the Fes Medina so much that in retrospect we wished we had requested to spend a second day there instead of our day trip to Volubilis and Meknes. Our one negative experience was the high-pressure sales tactics used by the salesman at the rug store that Thami took us to, particularly his attempts to play on my wife’s guilt for supposedly not wanting to support the divorced and single women who make the rugs.
All the riads that EIT chose were beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the food at Riad Myra in Fes and the early morning view of the desert from the rooftop of Riad Madu.
But without question our favorite part was our camel ride in the Sahara Desert. Our cameleer was very helpful, and we were very lucky with the weather and saw a beautiful sunset over the desert, which we're told isn’t always the case as sandstorms aren’t uncommon. Contrary to our fears the camel ride was smooth and comfortable.
Other stops included Rissani, where our local guide gave us a glimpse of how the indigenous people in the less developed areas of Morocco live, Ait Benhaddou, which made for great picture-taking but we could have benefited from having a local guide with expertise in the historical and cultural significance, and Atlas Studios, which wasn’t really our thing but probably would be fun for fans of “Game of Thrones” and movies like “Gladiator” or “The Mummy”.
Our one disappointment was we didn’t feel we saw enough of Marrakech, mainly because my wife signed up for a cooking class that turned out to be more than 5 hours long and included a lot of wasted time while the teacher waited on customers in the restaurant. In retrospect we wish we had skipped the class and Atlas Studios and used that time to see more of Marrakech. We did enjoy Jardin Majorelle and the Yves St. Laurent Museum.
A couple of other considerations: Tipping was always a source of stress for us as Morocco is very much a tipping culture but it was challenging to obtain enough small bills. EIT provided a helpful list of tipping guidelines, but it would also be helpful if they could provide more guidance on where to get small change. Also, meals are very slow in Morocco: a full sit-down lunch could take 1.5 hours or more out of one’s sightseeing schedule. In such cases we would have preferred, in retrospect, to just have a snack and use the extra time to see additional sights or arrive at our destination earlier.

We had an amazing experience in Morocco--the Experience It team is simply the best through all phases of the trip. Planning through the corporate office was personalized and used our feedback to create the perfect itinerary. Our guide was not only a great driver and knowledgeable about just about everything Moroccan, but he was completely tuned in to our frame of mind and needs throughout the trip. Our Riads, the restaurants, the day tours, the cooking class--it just never fell short of being anything less than wonderful. I can not say enough about how excellent an opportunity you have with Experience It.

We loved having a personal experience, not part of a group. We picked the level of accomodations and the specific sites we wanted to see. Not possible with a group of your "closest" friends. I got sick (a 24-hr bug) requiring a trip to a hospital and finding a pharmacy on a weekend, missing 1 day of our tour, but I can't imagine how that would have turned out had we been part of even a small group. I did not find the cost of a personal tour more expensive and the flexibility was wonderful. We never felt like locusts descending on a restaurant or tour site. There's a lot of continuity in having the driver who picked us up at the airport being with us for the entire 2 wks. He was wonderful! We also know of a few others who used EIT and had a great experience which is why we felt confidant in choosing them.

Our experience in Morocco exceeded our expectations at every turn. The "manager" of our experience on the ground was our exceptional driver, Ryad, for the 13 days we were in country. He was knowledgeable, trustworthy and always flexible and willing to personalize our experience further. All of the tour guides really enriched our understanding and enjoyment of several destinations, including in Chefchouoan, Volubilis, Fez and Marrakech. And, of course, the food and accommodations contributed greatly to our overall satisfaction. We were able to experience a wide range of traditional Moroccan foods, in top restaurants as well as local favorites and in a chef's home. That was lots of fun. Each of our accommodations were very different from each other, but they were all beautiful and comfortable. We were blown away with the opulence of the riads in Fez and Marrakech, and our luxury tent camp in the Sahara was absolutely spectacular. The highlight of our time in the Sahara was definitely our sunset camel ride. I was a little worried it might be a cheesy touristy attraction, but it was a magical and unforgettable experience. Our family highly recommends the experts at Experience-It Tours for your custom travel in Morocco.

Our driver and guide was knowledgeable and professional and led us on a great tour of Morocco- from the Souks of Fes and Marrakesh to the geographically diverse high Atlas Mountains and the Erg Chebbi / Sahara Desert.

There is a reason this company has a 5 Star rating. They are simply superb. From communication to planning to places to stay and visit. It is one thing to start with a beautiful country with a rich culture and it is another thing to offer that to visitors in a 2-3 week time frame. They do it by hiring the most amazing driver guides. Our 4-person group had the privilege of touring the country with Rachid and he was INCREDIBLE. Knowledgeable, caring, funny, always paying attention to every detail. We all fell in love with him and now feel we are family. Do yourself a favor and book a trip with these folks. Truly a trip of a lifetime!

Experience It Tours is a company I chose upon a Facebook recommendation, but it turned out to be the best choice! I usually make my own travel plans, but we wanted to really relax and enjoy Morocco without any hassles. Wish granted! Everything about EIT is highly professional, catered to your wishes and needs, very responsive and flexible. We had to change plans slightly when I was ill a couple of days; no problem. They rearranged the trip for me. We had a wonderful time, with an expert driver (the amazing Mehdi) who told us so much about the country’s history, and top-notch guides. I can't say enough great things about EIT! I think I'll go to Oman with them next!

We were ready for a good trip to Morocco but it was spectacular. The preparation by Experience It was complete. The guide/driver Hamid was the best; the riads were top notch; the restaurants were superb; and the people wonderful. We were able to see and learn about the country, its history and people from Hamid and his local colleagues. We were most fortunate to have him with us for two weeks.
We have bragged about Experience It and our trip to anyone who would listen. We recommend this tour company and Morocco without reservation.

From the company's preparation of tour, to the quality of the driver and the vehicle we rode in, to all of the tour guides in the various cities, everything was so well planned and carried out. I would highly recommend a private tour with Experience It Tours. This company has been doing these tours for some time now, and it shows in how they perform.

Each town had its own flavor.
Service was excellent. The hosts of the Riyads were very accommodating and welcoming. We loved to meet Marco and Georgina in the Marrakesh Riyad.

Our tour was fantastic from start to finish. Morocco is a huge place to attempt to navigate independently but with the extensive experience of the team at Experience it tours, your are in very experienced hands to ensure the entire tour is exactly right from accommodation to itinerary, tour guides.
