Evelo surprised me
I received the Galaxy 500 and easily assembled it. There was some minor shipping damage resulting in a bent bar on my battery/luggage rack. They immediately offered to replace it but I asked them to hold off until I was sure my wife wanted the bike. I then began to have some issues with the smoothness of the ride (cadence spin issues and clicking sounds) and they offered to replace the bike. We decided to return it. Without ANY pushback they sent me the instructions on how to do that and we should be returning it shortly. And, they pay for the return shipping costs !!!
I have been looking at other very nice bikes since (like the Priority Current) that is almost the same as their Galaxy SL and I am torn between the real life excellent support experience from Evelo and trying a new company that has nice reviews as well. I can see the difference in the e-bikes but I am still conflicted over the price differences (Evelo is about $530.00 more but has a throttle). As I am writing this, I find myself leaning very hard towards getting another Evelo.
