Renewal express
The process was very fast and efficient. We really didn't expect the registration back so quickly. The added price for this process was extremely high. With prices going up, and the ease in which this was done, you think it could have been much less expensive.

I wasn’t expecting this so fast
I wasn’t expecting this so fast! I really didn’t know if my order went through, you should send confirmation once ordered. I also didn’t expect the extra charges but in Maryland everything is over priced and taxed!
Thank you- it’s better than going to MVA

Bait and switch company
They make it sound real simple to get a duplicate title. You sign up thinking it’ll be done for what they tell you with that the original sign-up then they come back with all kinds of more information and documents. They need you try to cancel, and then you get screwed for your Dollars you signed up with there’s no refunds you don’t get your title. They’re a terrible company to do business with.

Deceitful Practice
This is on me for being in a huge hurry when I proceeded, but it seems so deceitful that when I type in the ACTUAL web address for my county tax collector, this is the first site on the list that comes up. It was too late by the time I went through the entire procedure but I ended up paying $73.00 for a $37.00 registration renewal due to "handling fees". The disclaimer describing Etags as NOT being a government site is all the way at the very bottom of the page in fine print. I thought my tax collectors office had simply changed some things on their site before I realized what happened. It should be against the law for companies like this to be able to supersede everything else on the search engine results when it's NOT precisely what you're looking for...ESPECIALLY when one specifically types an actual address in the search engine. I despise these types of tricks and will never use this company again. I will be reporting to the BBB, consumer reports and the FTC. Just be aware before you proceed.

Do not use!
They asked for documents that were not required by the FL DMV, the customer service is poor and they asked for the same documents many times.

This is a scam..how can it be legal
This is close to a scam. I thought I was on my NYS DMV only to find out I am on tags and my Title will take 10 days. NO chance to expedite or anything. I could have walked into a DMV office and done this. I consider this a RIPOFF.
It is even worse than I first thought . They are charging me $144 for something my dealer or DMV can do for between $20-$50 faster. How is it legal for them to present as if they are my state DMV...someone needs to put a notice up.

Deceptive and Costly!!
I renewed my FL tags through Etags. When I received my renewal letter through the county tax collectors office, the letter stated I could renew at octaxcol.com When you type this address in the search bar, it goes directly to etags which is not the county website. Unfortunately, my husband didn't catch this and paid double for one year to renew my tags. In addition to a one year renewal fee of $36.10, eTags added $21.95 service fee, a $6.95 Agency fee, a $2.13 credit card convenience fee, and $5.95 to ship a regular business envelope that was postmarked 69 cents to mail the tags! The county site charges $37.05 for a one year renewal, we were charges $73.08 through eTags for a one year renewal. This is deceptive and dishonest. I have requested a refund and have submitted a complaint with the BBB. I hope this review will keep others from making this mistake.

I did not know I was going to have to pay all those fees. Which amounted to $145.64. Next time I will mail my fee in for $110.00. I would have appreciated if you had mailed my notice to me that my tags were due with enough time to mail the fee back. As it was I did not get the notice in time and had to use the eTags.
