I thought I had done a smart thing when…

I thought I had done a smart thing when I went to insure myself with them. I paid my contribution but I paid a few instalments in advance& a bit irregular What was their reaction? They terminated my contract with them. They sent me a note that due to "non-payment" I am no longer their client, and this in the middle of a implant medical procedure, for which I was waiting on information from the previous dentist When you call them as*oles, it says very little about how unserious these insurance is. They deserve being sued. They give 0 s* for their clients. Don't get insured with them. Burn the freaking money: it will, at least be warm and more useful, or even better give it to a charity. At least there's nothing you can expect in return

Continued information requests for dental insurance

I can only agree with the bad reviews here regarding the dental insurance. After 12 months including the 8 months waiting time, I’ve submitted an invoice approved and partly paid by my public insurance. Since then I am getting continuously new requests for information often with 30 days response time. The first one was made for a dentist I’ve left after an initial visit / check and this dentist was of course not willing to provide info. The last request is for my dental history over the Corona period in the UK including handwritten notes. This is taking now more than 6 months, and irrespective of providing power of attorney for past dentists as well as the public insurance, requests are directed to me. The last mail even threatened that they won’t cover anything in case I don’t provide the requested info although so far I made every effort. Taking legal advise now.

I wouldn’t even give a one star to this…

I wouldn’t even give a one star to this insurance. They do not pay anything. I submitted two receipts. For several months after it they were asking for additional documents to find a reason so not cover anything. And in the end just rejected my application. I lost 1500€. Do not recommend at all. They are thieves. Do not make contact with them, they are working not for your best, but only for their.

They do not pay.

They do not pay.

They would not pay for my dental implant procedure, because I had asked my dentists how much would a procedure cost. They said it was pre-existing work. They take people with missing teeth, without ever having an intention to pay for their treatment. I am currently in discussion with my legal team.

They are thieves

They are thieves. Everything the other people say is true. I only bought this insurance because I am also on TK. I made two requests for reimbursement and neither refunded me, knowing that I was still within the coverage dates. They even mislead you so they can then have any argument to not give you your money back.

TLDR Scam

TLDR; Scam
After 3 months of processing time, they asked for a document while I had a subscription for more than 1 year. They mentioned I should provide the documents in a few days (less than a month) otherwise they will not reimburse me. My lawyer told me that I should sue them and it's a win case and they should also pay for the lawyer's costs. Let's see.

Arrogant and not helpful

I tried to contact Envivas regarding an additional health insurance for outpatient services. After 3 weeks of waiting, I called the service, just to learn that my application was refused because of a chronic moderate health condition from birth which has nothing to do with the outpatient services. After asking about alternatives, the answer of the Envivas-employee was just "no". No suggestions, alternatives or help, and her tone was arrogant and borderline rude. This is not how to get or treat potential customers - apparently they have enough? How can TK work with such a company?

Awful

They refuse to reimburse the costs based on no valid ground, provide explanation that make no sense to create confusion and take about a month to reply. To avoid!

I was insured twice with Envivas…

I was insured twice with Envivas (Auslands-Langzeitkrankenversicherung). The first time, I didnt had any issues but the second time I had some medical emergencies. It took so long and so much effort to see at least a bit of the money I had to spent for the treatments.

Stay away from Envivas

I would never recommend this Insurance company to anyone!! Be very careful because every information that you give will be twisted in their benefit! The higher the reimbursement amount, the longer they make you wait and think of new documents that they need, new processes and every time the waiting times get longer and longer. They will make sure that they get your money and you don’t get anything in return. One of the worst choices I have ever made!

Scam

Scam! Stay away! Die soll jeder man meiden!
I never got the money back for a health issue that my normal public insurance had me compensated in the past. They told me excuses like, it is probably something chronic, or that it was cosmetic, or that I probably had it before my trip, and they concluded that I cannot prove that the treatment was indeed needed! I am finding a way to sue them, nothing else to say.

I sent out a cancellation request…

I sent out a cancellation request before the deadline and at that time I did not get any email from them but I assumed that my email went through and my cancellation was processed.

But I got the notification that my contract was extended ( 1 year!!) and they just simply told me they 'DID NOT GET THE EMAIL'. HA how convenient is it?!

I told them I sent out an email and have the email in my postbox and I can forward it to them and then customer service person said that it's not going to help them because I can change the data easily and the deadline is already passed.

But then, how easy for them simply to block the emails from customers to cancel??? and then claim that you NEVER got the cancellation request.

I can't trust this company, it just sounds terrible

Complaint - strange rules hidden in T&C

Complaint: I have started an insurance with Envivas earlier this year, and just found out that the claims I collected during my trip are not going to be refunded. The reason for this is that they have a small section in the T&C that says that it is not allowed to leave Germany any day before the start of the insurance period (so my insurance started on February 15 and I left Germany a few days earlier as it wad cheaper and easier to fly to South America from another city in Europe). All my claims were from after the 15th of February but they will not refund anything, simply because I was not in Germany till February 15th. Have been in touch with Customer Service, they agreed with not being clear on this topic and I asked them (and am doing so again) to provide more clarity when buying an insurance online about this strange rule. Disappointed with the experience and with the lack of a customer service goodwill policy to at least meet customers half way that have been affected by unclear rules in the T&C.
