I was told the price for 3 months was…

I was told the price for 3 months was $300, only to find out they took $600 out of my account. When I complained, they said that was for 6 months. Now I am being told it is $295 per month!!! WHAT A SCAM, I am going to contact my credit card company and dispute this. I have 3 weeks left of my first quarter and they want another chunk of change...

Late Prescription/Wrong Prescription

I was really happy with this company at first — everything was going smoothly and I felt supported in my GLP-1 journey. But unfortunately, things started to go downhill when they switched pharmacies. I understand that changes like this can cause hiccups, but there’s been a huge lack of transparency. My prescription is now two weeks late and customer service hasn’t been able to give me any clear info on when it will actually arrive.

I’m pretty bummed because I paid for a 6-month plan up front and now I feel stuck waiting it out. Hoping things improve soon because I was genuinely excited about my progress before all of this.

Update: I did eventually receive a shipment — but it turns out they sent me the wrong medication. At first, the company was quick to respond, but now I can’t get ahold of anyone for answers. Out of concern, I even called the pharmacy directly, and they told me they have no record of my prescription, which is honestly pretty alarming.

I’m currently trying to cancel my subscription and get refunded for the months of medication I paid for but never received. It’s really disappointing because I was so hopeful at the start. I still believe in this type of treatment, but my experience with this company has become stressful and discouraging. I hope they step up and make this right.

Update: Effecty gave me a refund then canceled the refund. I’m not disputing the charges with my credit card company.

LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR WEIGHT LOSS TELEHEALTH

PRACTICALLY NONEXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH YOUR ORDER, STICK TO OTHER ONLINE PROVIDERS (they will be cheaper as well). I swear I am not a Karen and barely write negative reviews unless something is really wrong. They haven’t shipped my order for a whole month and I’ve been going cold turkey and customer service won’t get back to me for weeks. I’m writing this on June 26. My medication was supposed to be shipped June 7. It was delayed for a few weeks because there was some shortage at their original pharmacy. Okay that sucks and they kept me in radio silence the whole time despite me reaching out about the order, but whatever. They finally told me they found a new pharmacy to send it out. I’ll wait then. The new pharmacy sends the order out but it’s been stuck in the beginning “We have your package” stage of USPS and hasn’t moved from its origin location for 5 days now. That is cause for great concern since I know the medication is supposed to be kept cold or else it will degrade. Previous shipments had next day or one day ship time and were packed with dry ice and arrived cold but there is no way this one will be a proper temperature if it even ever arrives. I’m seriously disappointed as I’ve been a loyal costumer for 6 months now. I’ve noticed that it’s like pulling teeth to get the customer service people to respond. It takes days and I have to send so many follow up messages and they just say “we are checking”, if any response. Takes weeks to get any resolution. I’m not sure if they’re understaffed or just incompetent? I don’t even know if I’ll be refunded for the missing medication. For $295 a month this is absolutely ridiculous treatment. I’m sure there are much better providers and I will be switching to another
