Selling compost heap plants

I wrote a recent review about my experience with thus nursery and, to their credit, they provided a store credit for the tree peonies which shipped late enough that they did not grow. Prices have increases enough that replacing these is impractical especially given the late for ne shop schedule so I ordered three echinacea bare roots. They arrived yesterday. The top growth on 2 had given up leaving only clumps of expired brown roots in the bags. The third had a small amount of desicated top growth. I planted the one and we will see. I contacted them regarding the product quality, but have not received a response.

I would like to update. It took over 24 hours to get a response to my email, but when they responded, they acknowledged my concern which was born out by the picture I had sent and refunded the order to the gift card I had paid with. Thank you for promptly making things right.

Bulbs were disintegrated on arrival

We will never order from Eden's Brothers again.
We ordered a few coneflower bareroot/bulbs and half of them had disintegrated by the time they arrived to us.
From the others condition I doubt any will survive.
We have received 100% better bare roots from QVC and Amazon sellers.

I spend $45 buying springs bulbs

I spend $45 buying springs bulbs, only to find out they are not based in the US, company sold to China. Received a confirmation email from China. Tracking link was not found. One month later received 10 small seeds packages in plastic bag no label shipped from Africa. I was confused but hopeful maybe I will receive something from China. 2 months went by, nothing. I emailed the company fail address.
This is a scam don’t buy.

I do not usually write reviews . . . this company has so wonderful to deal with that I felt compelled to write my own review. I ordered my seeds and received a confirmation email within minutes. Within a day or two, I received a shipping confirmation, with a tracking number. Received my seeds as promised within a week. The seed packets are elegant and could be used as gifts or in gift baskets. The prices were reasonable, as well shipping rates. Thank you Eden Brothers!

I have ordered from them 4 times

I have ordered from them 4 times. They’re a bit pricier than other places for some things so definitely shop around but so far I would say about 85% of my bulbs have made it. I just got a spring shipment with no notice which is frustrating and it was missing one item, but customer service said it hadn’t been shipped into the country yet. Hoping it still shows up.

I ordered the first seeds on March 6

I ordered the first seeds on March 6. They told me they have a shipping schedule of 2 to 5 days. After seven days, the shipment was finally delivered to the post office. Their representative told me that they had it out within that five day.. They obviously did not now I have to check every single package of these seeds to make sure they didn’t short change me as I have read others felt they were short changed

Very Few Seeds in Packets

I ordered multiple packs of seeds from this company. I received them and the amount of seeds in a packet was ridiculous. I purchased the seeds to make flats of flowers. There were fourteen seeds in one package of Vincas and twelve seeds in another packet. I couldn't even make one flat from the two packs of different varieties of Vinca seeds. Each packet cost $5.95. All the packets were the same having very few seeds in them. I went to the website to check the seed count and it is listed NO WHERE on the main order page, I FINALLY found the count IN THE PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS TAB!! There were supposed to be 20 seeds per pack, Seriously? Who only wants 20 seeds for $5.95? And they couldnt even give me that. Will never order from this company again.

Never again

I wish I would’ve read about this place before I ordered. Its been 12 days since I ordered and I’m only 1 state away. I hope these seeds are not a dud when they finally arrive. I probably would have done better, ordering locally…. Geesh, where is the customer service.

$90 order of lily bulbs in June

$90 order of lily bulbs in June. They didn't ship my order until the end of October. The best part this order was for my Church. So I couldn't plant them this year. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

Possible Invasive Wildflower Seeds! Geesh!

I purchased Eden Brothers partial shade wildflower seed mix 1/4 pound on September 9, 2024! I noticed on the package it reads “Could be considered invasive in areas of USA. Check with your local agriculture office“! Today is September 17, 3024 and I decided to return the seeds to Amazon and even though it says 30 day money back guarantee, this item is not returnable! Huh? Very unhappy with both Eden Brothers and Amazon!

Sent wrong bulbs in two seperate orders

planned for a year to order Canna bulbs. ordered, they shipped in the spring. Spent all day planting over 50 bulbs. several months pass and they come up then start blooming. The wrong damn plant!!!! They did refund, but who's gonna dig up the wrong bulbs and replant????

I wish I read some of these reviews before I shopped with Eden Brothers. I'm 66-year-old man, been gardening my entire life. I have extensive landscaping on my property and am well versed in all aspects of it. Over the years I've been planning gladiolus bulbs, but this year I wanted to do something special, I created a huge garden that was going to be clumps of color. I coordinated all my colors with all my plants to look good together. Every single package of gladiolus bulbs that I bought from Eden Brothers came out red. I spent a lot of money with them, and bought hundreds of gladiolus bulbs and all of them, all of them came out. Red. Red is simply not one color I use in my garden. Now I'm stuck with either digging them up which is labor intensive or having those darn red gladiolus from now on.
I'm a professional paint contractor and if I paint somebody's house the wrong color they would fire me. Understandably. I contacted Eden Brothers and they refunded my money without a fuss, but my house is still painted the wrong color! What I mean is I'm still stuck with those red gladiolus and we'll have to dig them up if I want them gone. I planted those gladiolus in coordination with other plants, which means I would have to dig up the other plants as well. Extremely extremely extremely disappointed. Do Not Shop Eden Brothers...Do Not!

The company made good on its guaranty

I bought $800 of seeds for a meadow that has grown gorgeous plants from seeds sold by other companies in the past but this year, after planting Eden brothers seeds, no flowers grew. Initially, the company offered only a discount toward future orders but pressed a bit, they relented and issued a full refund. Stuff happens and how a company responds to failures says a lot about it. Eden made good on its guaranty and though I am very disappointed by this flower debacle, Eden proved itself to be a company that stood behind its product.
