I purchased a front wheel e-bike conversion kit from this company in June and fitted it in July on a brand new, good quality mountain bike. Before the purchase, I asked if this configuration would work with my bike model and was told there would be no issues.
By early September (probably after no more than 10 short rides) the wheel disconnected from the forks while I was riding it and caused me a minor accident.

I took the kit to a professional repair shop and had it fitted along with a brand new set of replacement forks (again good quality RockShox forks). These had specially manufactured Torque arms to hold the wheel in place, as safety was paramount.

I received the repaired bike in early October and having ridden just 5 miles, had exactly the same issue. This time though it cracked the metal holding the wheel into the fork slots on both sides. Again a minor accident.

I've complained to this company as I do not believe these items are fit for purpose; I did not even receive an acknowledgement let alone and progress on my complaint. While they might appear to sell items at a "good price", there after sales service is non-existent. Avoid them at all costs and find a local e-bike supplier.

Dealing with John has been absolutely brilliant, he answered all questions & put my mind at ease, went out his way to make sure I got a test run on the bike with no pressure to buy but after first try I knew I wanted one as I was so impressed with the bike this is after I have tried numerous other shops who didn't offer anything like John did & cost a lot more, bike was delivered personally & set up by John & again made sure everything was perfect before leaving, Thanks John.

Have been looking at the little fattie for a while and saw from reviews the first thing people do is ring John. After a conversation with John who is a wealth of knowledge he had answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. I went straight on and purchased the bike and John rang me straight away to confirm my order and tell me the bike would be shipped next day. Had some delivery issues with Fed-EX this was dealt with immediately by John along with constant text and WhatsApp messages from him to keep me updated. Bike arrived John was straight on phone to check I had no issues putting bike together along with more advice. So pleased with the little fattie the build quality is excellent and easy to get on with. Many thanks again John for your time and effort ensuring my new toy arrived. 5 STARS. Regards Graeme.

Have bought 2 little fatties, both times service from John has been excellent - we had a battery problem with the second bike and John was quick to resolve, no quibble or challenge.
The bikes are very well made, and look fantastic, everyone is impressed by them.
To be honest mine is probably too fast for me, I keep it on the low speed

I ordered the bike Thursday morning, John phoned me up straight away to confirm my order and to inform me of hot to build the bike. The bike arrived Friday morning and was ready to ride within 30 minutes. Unfortunately I can to charge the battery sunday night and it wouldn’t charge, I emailed John straight away and he replied the following morning to send it back so he can fix it or send me out another since he was going on holiday. The battery arrived with John on Tuesday and he sent me his own personal battery since he didn’t have time you fix mine before going on holiday, and he new battery once again arrived the next day at 10am and I was able to get going once again. John said I can send his back when he gets back from holiday or I can keep it, since it works I may aswell keep it. Very pleased with the e-bike for the money it’s by far better than anything else you will see online. My friend bought one for him and his dad 2 years ago and since then I’ve wanted the exact one as they’ve never had issues with theirs and they’re really that good. Overall john is a great guy too, he really treats people the way he expects to be treated and I’m confident if you have any issues just tell john and he’ll do his best to come to a reasonable solution. Thanks john I’ll definitely be ordering another bike for friends and family at some point in the future!

Bought 2 little fattie e-bikes after reading reviews and a personal recommendation.
We have not been disappointed the bikes are so much better than expected, I have a spinal issue and wasn't sure if I'd be able to ride them very much but they are so good and easy to ride.
The service from John was excellent and can highly recommend E-Bikes Lanarkshire and the bikes themselves.

First Little Fattie 500W bike I bought from John almost 3 years ago and now bought second one for my wife. My 3 years’ experience shows that I can completely trust to my bike. I didn’t have any issue and battery still in a very good condition. We are sure that Little Fattie is a perfect bike for both of us and we are planning to make a lot of rides just when weather will be good for this. Delivery takes only few days and bike was very well packed. I assembled it in less than half and hour without any problem. All systems worked perfect and all we need was to charge battery and wait for good weather. First try was done last Friday and we made first 20 miles ride. What a pleasure! Bikes are running very well and we are completely satisfied. Today is Sunday, sun is shining and we are ready for our second (longer) ride 😊.
John is very helpful and I highly recommend to have a deal with him if you are looking for great bike and service. We wish him all the best in his business and will recommend his company for all our friends.

Another 5 stars to Ebikes Lanarkshire. Recieved my 2nd ebike delivered by John at a time suited to me.
Bike was delivered as agreed and left in my garage un-assembled at my request.
Having put the bike together in around 20 mins, I was ready to get out there and start enjoying the ride. but, it was wet so I waited until today as it appeared a little dryer. Unfortunately I got a puncture and the rain started again, but I am looking forward to lots of rides out this coming year.

I researched ebikes until my head ached. Having looked around for a bike suitable for my wife, wayed up all the pros and cons and all the reviews available, I decided to put my trust in a local company.
I contacted John and arranged a viewing before finally committing to a bike.
He was more than happy to show us around and allowed a try b4 you buy with no follow up pressure.
I ordered a bike paid for it and within the hour John was on the phone with delivery options.
He arrived at the agreed time and helped with the assembly and made sure everything was in order b4 heading off.
I am confident that John will respond to any issues should they arise, but the bike looks of good quality at a reasonable price by comparison to others considered.
I will probably buy another for myself in the near future.

I spent £1,000 of my hard earned money on a fat tyre folding ebike. The bike is quite good and up to the job it seems, but one issue was the front forks are noisy. They clunk over anything more than small bumps. I lived with this issue for 11 months as it was a 200 mile round trip to return the bike for repair. I assumed the frame and forks were guaranteed for at least a year, as other bikes I've had in the past have had up to 15 years guarantee.
I phoned John and was shocked when he said it was only guaranteed for 6 months. He said as a gesture of good faith he would send out a new pair of forks. Would take a couple of months to
organise he said. Better than nothing I thought, but would still have to pay a local bike shop to fit them, as he is only an outlet and has nowhere to repair them. What kind of company is this I thought, nowhere for back up service. All this was back in September 2021 (11 months since buying). Fast forward a year later (September 2022) and never heard a word. Would give him a year to come up with something I thought. So my advice is to keep clear of these Mickey Mouse Cowboy companies and buy from a local well established bike shop/workshop.
I'm so peeved that I recommended him in the early months of this bike ownership, as many people were impressed by the looks and speed of this bike and wanted to know more. Will definitely not recommend now.
Bike has only been used for the occasional dry weather ride, and kept spotless clean, and only done just 500 miles in the two years of ownership.
Pity about the forks and the abysmal back up service and broken promises.

Bought my wee fattie from John. He was really friendly and did not push for a sale. He had a few bikes for me to try and when I bought the one I liked John delivered it the following morning and built it for me. No charge for delivery. I had an issue with the front light and John was more than helpful sending me a new light. My bike is great and solid. You can feel and see the quality in the build. It’s so fast and love the thumb throttle. If your looking for your first or next e bike, I would highly recommend you give John a call.

Don't bother reading any more reviews, just seriously buy with confidence. Perfect experience from start to finish and the Little Fattie is a work of art, battery and all the running gear is of a really high quality. Lightning fast delivery, well packaged and it rides beautifully especially with the fat tyre's I can 100% recommend John and he was spot on with his help over the phone. See you on the trails.

After doing my homework on the range of bikes on offer I called John for some more details , I also explained that I would need step thru bike as i am disabled this was made very clear . John explained to me and gave me the Part number of the bike I needed(SKU: SR20A). all very helpful and I duly ordered the bike immediately after coming off the telephone to John . What arrived was totally different to what I was expecting and the Model Number was nothing like I was told to order (MR275B) My invoice displays the correct part number but the bike displays something totally different . The unfortunate thing is that this discovery was made when the bike was unpacked . I called John who stated "just send it back for a full refund " I said Please could you just send the correct bike out ? John then seemed irritated that i was calling and he explained " Im in the middle of cooking my tea so i need to do that first !" I was astounded by this . What i then discovered is the UPS or any other carrier wont accept parcels this size / weight without being banded up and wanted £167 to take it back ! I man now stuck with a heavy package in my kitchen no means of getting it to a banding machine and John shows his true colours by refusing to reply to calls /emails ! he the hides behind Paypal when you raid a dispute . Paypal are not easy to communicate with and are an overseas company and don't seem to understand the Consumer act law here in the UK . The bike also has bolts missing on the battery carriers . The simple solution would have been supply the correct bike , take the incorrect bike back , result would be keep the money , happy customer and all good overall ! He's sells these on Ebay too , and reviews are not good . I will now take legal action and this will cost John much much more in the long run poor customer care terrible after sales . A man out to make a quick buck . Im coming to Scotland in August and I will be paying this outfit a call . Please beware of this con man avoid at all costs !
