Our customers beg for more abuse so we keep on giving!
Boy, this takes arrogance and contempt to a whole new lever. Not to mention brazen offensive and unfair practices. What is this company for again? First - customer service does not exist. Likely on purpose - this all well established already. Second, their technology does not work - at least where it’s deployed to deal with customers. You can’t tell me the crap they put out as chat bots is the best tech they have. Again, probably customers are seen as undeserving - such contempt. I have tried to list something for over a week now. I get the message that the scheduled date cannot be in the past. No shit! I have a date in the future; click done and the next day I go back - same answer - it’s in the past. It certainly wasn’t when I scheduled it so either something is not working with the technology or I’m making an error. I’ll never know will I? I won’t because there is no way to ask a question that you can get an answer to. That’s just the beginning though. There is something nefarious going on with pricing and I am sure it has to do with this fictitious and highly unsupportable shipping. Are they allowed (or sellers) to screw over buyers at whatever price they choose? How can buyers even tell what the price of the item actually is? $40 to buy $120 to ship? This certainly sounds deceptive to say the least. Here I am a seller with a quoted shipping price of $179-299. That cannot possibly be right. However - that was based on the actual weight and dimensions that I had to put in. They had estimated a large painting I listed at 2 lbs and a 3”12” package . And recommended a shipping option costing $11-14…what? How the hell did this happen. They never even had a place for dimensions on the listing form. Just S,M, or L. Who ultimately is going to get f’d on shipping? This kind of flagrant chicanery indicates there is something going on to make sure blame and liability falls on shoulders that are not eBay’s. How can you have any confidence dealing with a company like this? Who is the leadership serving? This is possibly the most stunning example of corporate disregard for customers and users that I’ve seen (except of course for Facebook). I think I’m going to have to de-list my unlistable painting before I really incur some expenses I cannot prevent. Did you know you have to put up a card for shipping labels and other costs. They get to charge it at will? Without your permission? Is that true? That’s what I had to agree to tho. You better read every last line with these robohumans. Get out the magnifying glass .make sure you can see the invisible ink. I realize this is a bit dramatic, but what they are doing needs a little more than a weak slap on the wrist. Intentional, willful contempt for its customers and users. That won’t be tolerated forever. Trust is something that once you chase it away, with a fire hose and an axe - it ain’t coming back. The end…for now.

Misleading and dishonest sales practice
Was sold "unlocked" phones from China. They were not unlocked, not as advertised. eBay customer service was ZERO help. The seller installed an Operating system that was tied to a google account and we could not even reset the phones to factory. The OS installed had phishing capabilities. Informed Ebay and was told to PAY FOR A REPORT for them to further investigate the phones we were sold. NO! They allow sales of misleading representation amd inaccurate items to be sold and still want more money to investigate. This is their seller!! They should pay for reports. These phones were ILLEGAL in the U.S. now I have to wait once they get the phones back to get my money, had to pay for shipping international which was another INCONVENIENCE. I should have been given my money back IMMEDIATELY when these phones could not even be used as stated they could be in the sales listing, not to mention the phishing system they installed on the phones. My husband works in IT and caught the issues quickly. DO NOT BUY FROM EBAY. I can't even imagine how many people in the US have phones from ebay that are hacked constantly and people don't even know it. THEY ARE DANGEROUS AND UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY ALLOW MISLEADING AND DISHONEST SALES PRACTICES. DISGUSTING COMPANY. Will NEVER buy anything from ebay again.

I would give eBay 5 negative stars if I…
I would give eBay 5 negative stars if I was able to. What a greedy greedy company. What they take should be illegal. They take advantage of people trying to make a living. I made $400.00 $150.00 went to them $180.00 went to shipping and I made less that $100.00 after 17 sales. Let’s not forget the refund I had to do which was my fault and I took total responsibility and I just gave the person back their money, but what happened after that after I refunded the money I still owed for the shipping so now I’m out of the product and I am out eight dollars Another time they let me pick what shipping I wanted to go through and I picked one that was just like $.80 cheaper I took it down to FedEx. Nothing was said I get the thing and it’s nine dollars more than what they said so now I’m out nine more dollars but I’m not making any money anyways And then they pressure you constantly to advertise your products so there’s another 9 to 15% on top of the 13 to 16% that they already take with the shipping included which you see none of it. They end up with like half of your money. I think something needs to be done about this because that’s as bad as the check won’t if not worse, they take advantage of millions of people who are just trying to make it work and there’s a lot of work that you have to put into it, especially at the beginning. I think what they do is just evil. And then I almost forgot there’s another charge for just selling on there $.30 for under $10.40 for over $10 so the 13 to 40%. They already get with the advertisements and stuff then they just got it stick it to you that much more than $.30-$.40 each Transaction and if there’s two things that are sold in that transaction that you have to pay it twice seems pretty shady to me. I was very excited to start this cause I hadn’t worked in a lot of years and I’m good at selling stuff or I feel but when the company that you’re trying to make money off of is making more money than you are, that’s sad because we have to go out and buy the product post. Buy it by the mailing supplies all the stuff that comes with it and I didn’t even make 100 holders in a month and I guarantee I put that much into gas and buying the products and it’s been a horrible experience Absolutely horrible how this is legal is beyond me. I think somebody needs to look into this and make it so it’s fair to people they’re making it so nobody can make a living off it. I know there’s a few people having a lot of people make a lot of money, but when you don’t have them ends, and you don’t have them kind of Support in you’re trying to do it just to make some money to live. It’s impossible and they don’t care and try to get in touch with them. How ridiculous is that? Do you go out of the conversation that you’re having to find the order number or whatever you can’t get back into the conversation and it is hard to get into even talk to them, especially and if you can even get to a bot, that’s even just as hard and Just ridiculous as much money as they make they should have customer service for both buyers and sellers at all times I know I’ve already paid my dues already this month for the whole year to talk to how many people I want to talk to, but I can never finish Conversation with them because I have to go out out of it and then I can’t get back in insane and I’m just mad just rambling on, but I think they are horrible and they should held accountable just like anybody else for taking advantage of people they are awful. I don’t know how they can sleep at night. I guess they can do that when they’re living in a $10 million house at the little person that can’t afford to live helps pay for

No protection for buyers
I purchased an item on Ebay and I was scammed. The seller never sent the item, never responded to my messages. Please be careful and check buyer feedback before you buy on Ebay, because if you are scammed, like I was, Ebay will not have your back. BEWARE!

Sellers are locked into Ebay postage
As a seller I can no longer offer my own delivery, and their built in postage only allows a maximum of 61cm. I therefore cannot sell on the platform.

Customer service non existent
When I started selling on ebay they had decent customer service. The past 6 months or so they have gotten rid of all human customer service employees and now it's a automated voice that says they are closed and outside of business hours in the middle of the day and week. Tried calling from other numbers also with same results. My buyers pay for shipping but ebay keeps that money and take the shipping out of my account earnings. With all the fees ebay charges the sellers I know they can afford to pay someone in India to answer the phone. Ebay is a greedy website making millions off our products.

Authenticity Guarantee is fake
Very disappointed with the Authenticity Guarantee. I bought a shirt on eBay, and it turned out the seller had stolen photos from all over the internet. The images were in different sizes, and each shirt had a different pattern. One of the photos was taken from another seller who is currently selling the same shirt in Poland. An eBay customer representative told me the authentication process would verify if the item matches the listing. Well surprise, it didn’t. They approved it anyway without checking the listing.

Honest Seller Unfairly Suspended – No Clear Reason Given
I was running a single, honest eBay seller account. I sold real, authentic products, fulfilled my orders on time, and followed the rules to the best of my knowledge.
One day, I received a sudden suspension notice. eBay accused me of “multiple accounts” and “counterfeit listings” — but I’ve only ever used one account, and my products came from trusted sources.
I submitted appeals, explained everything clearly, and even offered documentation. Instead of helping, eBay shut down my account permanently without giving any exact reason.
As a small seller, this is heartbreaking. All my hard work was erased overnight — and I was not even given a fair chance.
I respectfully request eBay to reopen my case and review it fairly. If they truly care about trust and safety, they should protect honest sellers too.

Ebay is in the road to ruins!
From the moment I first laid eyes on Ebay & started using it, I was in awe. Discovering some real gems at bargain prices, I absolutely loved it-I became an Ebay queen! Also, I have successfully sold plenty of things; money that certainly helped on those rainy days.
These days however, I am not so impressed. What lets Ebay down the most are the sloppy sellers. It's pot luck whether I'll actually ever receive my purchase, and if I do, it can take ages because the sellers are in no hurry to dispatch. Thank goodness for Amazon for their refreshingly fast delivery, mostly arriving the next day-which is very much appreciated.
Recently I have ordered the same console table twice, to no avail, waiting almost 2 weeks for nothing but disappointment. The first seller said it went missing in transit and the second informed me it was out of stock, after I made my purchase. I'm getting sick to death of how frequently this happens. I do not have the amount I paid for it just sitting in the bank, so I then have to wait for the refund to purchase it again, which can take days, and reluctant to find another seller to purchase it for a third time, as will I ever receive it at all? The days or weeks waiting for nothing, is such an inconvenience when you really need something.
Secondly, selling on Ebay has really changed since when I used to previously. I would mostly sell everything I listed and would have a steady flow of watchers, yet recently I listed around 7 items and only 1 thing sold, plus I had no watchers! Obviously, Ebay are hiding my listings in a bid to encourage sellers to pay extra to promote them. Ebay is on the roads to ruins!

Jumped-Up Market Traders
I had to take down all my listings and leave money with them because Ebay suspended my account until I provide them with details including passport/drivers licence. I have nothing to hide but why, in these suspect times, should I share these documents? Who do they think they are? A bank?
If they think that, they are wrong. Just a bunch of jumped-up market traders.
