Great solution for remote onboarding
My company now relies much more heavily on remote onboarding. I’m glad we learned about Dots when we started this process, because it saved us a lot of trial and error with remote onboarding of employees so we get them the equipment they need to work. It’s all there - you can buy and ship whatever you need all over the world. Just takes a few clicks and to set your delivery date.

In 5 words: Great IT Asset Management Tool
It seems that the people of Dots have really thought of everything when they designed this platform and if not, they really listen to your feedback. IT asset management does not need to be a mess. Good thing we found Dots.

IT asset procurement isn’t such a pain anymore
Dots really makes the IT asset procurement process easy. You select what you need, you add to the cart, you tell them where to deliver to, and they’ll send you a quote. You approve and they take care of everything and add it to their software automatically. They’ll find the most optimal supplier and the best prices for you. There was a learning curve at first but it’s got much easier and it’s definitely the best tool I’ve tried for ITAM.

Really useful for IT procurement
You can buy all of your IT supplies in one place, and the delivery is as quick as you need. Very convenient for UK based companies, since IT procurement here is not cheap.

Like Cruise Control for IT asset management
Ever since I started working with Dots for IT asset management, I honestly have a lot less to worry about. This platform takes care of all our ITAM needs, from procurement to disposal, and with the Kits feature, we define the specs and Dots automates the procurement. If you find yourself spending too much of your time on purchasing IT equipment, trust me, this is the platform for you. And they have a 30 day trial period for the Pro package, so you don’t have to commit to anything.

IT hardware management tool
Very pleased with the way Dots organizes everything. I especially like the option of having Slack notifications set up about orders and deliveries, it comes with the Enterprise package and it’s really handy. Overall I’m very satisfied with their app and platform. Highly recommended.

One of the most effective IT equipment management tools on the market
I’m a huge skeptic about paying for software, but Dots really gets what we need done. You can purchase, ship, store and dispose of your IT equipment through the platform, and it’s so user friendly that anyone can master it easily. If you’re a small company, I recommend you go for the Pro package (I think they give a 30 day free trial as well), and if it’s not enough, you can always upgrade.

Did wonders to the way we handle our IT equipment
My company relies a lot on IT equipment form China and Korea, so when Trump introduced his tariff moves, we were really afraid of price hikes. That's why we started looking for a way to buy IT equipment at reasonable prices, and we stumbled upon Dots. Frankly, we were just looking for a way to cut costs, but Dots does a whole lot more than that. It helps you keep track of all your equipment and even reminds you when the electronics need their maintenance. I don't know how much money we saved overall, but it's a lot more than we had originally expected, that's for sure.

My input on Dots and its IT procurement tool
I started using Dots not long ago (about eighteen months ago). I work in HR for a medium-sized company based in Leeds, but we operate all over the UK and abroad. I reckon that they save us hundreds of pounds every year, in IT procurement alone. We tried shopping and comparing on our own, but the prices they offer are the most optimal, and frankly, who has the time to shop around dozens of websites every time you want to buy a computer screen?
It doesn’t stop there, though, because they also deliver across the globe, and they take care of storage if you need it as well. Perfect for small and medium businesses.

Perfect for remote onboarding
Very impressed by Dots. They made our remote onboarding process so much more effective, and that has had a very positive impact on our work routine in general. When you bring in a new employee who works from home, you sometimes tend to overlook the small but important things like their IT equipment. Luckily, Dots has thought it all out. The platform lets you order and deliver everything the new employee needs, and it literally takes a couple of minutes. Give it a shot, I recommend it.

Dots is the perfect solution for IT asset management
To be honest, I didn’t even know what IT asset management and IT logistics really are, until I tried this tool. My company is fairly small, so I didn’t even think that I needed to spend my time on IT asset management. I’m glad I tried Dots out, it completely changed the way we do IT logistics for our remote employees. If you find yourself spending too much time and energy on buying and sending IT equipment and trying to get it back, you also really need to try this tool out. I don’t know if they still do it now, but back when I signed up they offered a free demo period. Good thing we checked it out.

I didn’t know how important IT asset disposition is until I usedDots
Now I truly regret not taking it seriously all these years. My family owns a small office supply company and we mainly work from home, so every time we needed to get rid of anything IT-related, we’d basically throw it in the trash (or recycle it at best). But when I started working with Dots, they told me that IT asset disposition is part of their services and only then did I realize that while I was getting rid of a hard drive or broken down laptop, I was risking all the sensitive information that was on it. Oops. Anyway, from now on I do all that through Dots, as well as everything else IT logistics related: procurement, shipping, storage, maintenance, tracking etc. for our remote employees. They offer you the whole package in one easy-to-use interface.

If you’re having a hard time keeping…
If you’re having a hard time keeping track of your IT hardware situation, you should definitely try Dots
The best thing about the Dots platform is how simple it is to use (I know other people have already stated it here, but I really want to reiterate this). I work at an SaaS company and we’ve always had such a hard time keeping track of IT hardware. Somehow, something always goes off the radar and you have to chase it down. But Dots puts everything in one place, and you can even order equipment to be delivered or picked up and retrieved through the platform. Dots totally changed the way we handle IT logistics at the office, and now I have a lot more free time to deal with stuff that is really important to the company.

Helped me sort all my IT equipment mess
Helped me sort all my IT equipment mess
I signed up for Dots after a few of my startup buddies did. I have my own small startup, been running for almost 4 years now but I never managed to find a proper solution for IT equipment and IT logistics. It’s always been such a hassle to find it at reasonable prices, and now that everything’s gotten more expensive, I knew there must have been a better solution. Anyway, Dots is ideal in my view. You not only get a wide choice of IT equipment but you can also prioritize prices and delivery times all on their desktop app. Not sure how I did without it so long but it is a game changer for sure.

Dots promises to provide an intuitive solution for IT hardware and IT asset management - and they actually do!
Let’s start off with the obvious - in a role like mine, you should never take ITAM lightheartedly. If you do, you’re going to have a lot of trouble with your IT hardware and software. That’s why I really recommend the Dots tool, because they take IT asset management seriously. The platform has everything in one place, from procurement through delivery, to storage and even disposal. And data wipe, which helped us with guarding our data when offboarding a remote employee. It also helps you to keep track of everything you have and where it is, and that is especially important if you have people working OOO or when it’s time for remotely offboarding an employee or IT asset disposition. And the UX is really food, everything is literally a few clicks away, and customer service is there for anything you need. Dots is worth the price you pay, for sure.

My personal experience with Dots
TL,DR: you should try it. IT asset management is usually “easier said than done”, but Dots promises an all-in-one answer, and really delivers. Before I tried Dots, I used a Google spreadsheet to track all of my IT assets (awkward) and it very quickly turned into one big mess. And I work for a small company, imagine how much stress it is for a big office or even several offices, or a global company. What I really like about Dots is the fact that they also compare prices of IT assets for you, so you can choose the cheapest option or the best suited.

If you deal with ITAM and IT equipment, you need this software
If I had to describe Dots in one word, it would be comprehensive. One of the worst things you can do as part of your IT asset management strategy is use many different tools and platforms, especially free platforms to try to save a dollar. I tried it and it does more harm than good. You need one place where you can take care of purchases, electronic shipping, storing, replacement, etc. etc. for all your IT hardware. And the big advantage of Dots is that all ordering is done with a few clicks, and you get the best price from many vendors. If you’re not sure about Dots, I recommend you try their demo version, it will give you a taste of what the platform is really like. But bottom line, it’s saved me loads of headaches.

Plain and simple, IT asset management for IT hardware done the right way
To be honest, I was very skeptical about this platform at first, I didn’t understand why I needed a platform to handle something like IT asset management, let alone pay a monthly fee for it. But I can tell you that I’m glad I chose to give Dots a try. It is truly a top-to-bottom solution for all my ITAM and IT logistics needs, so for buying and retrieving hardware, and the interface is so user friendly. I spend a whole lot less time and energy now messing around with things like procurement, storage, stocktaking and even IT asset disposition. Overall, the money spent on the Dots platform is definitely worth the time saved.

The best platform solution I could find for IT procurement
Before I started working with the Dots platform, IT procurement was always such a nightmare: Finding the right vendors, making sure the equipment fits, paying unreasonable shipping costs and waiting weeks for delivery. Now Dots takes care of everything: procurement, delivery, storage, mobilization to employees and much more. I know it sounds too good to be this simple, but it is. And the best part? The Dots platform also learns how to work with other tools that I use daily like Calendar and Slack. Overall, I'm very satisfied with what Dots has to offer. They promise a full-stack solution for my IT asset management needs, and they really deliver.
