I bought a front set of rotor and…

I bought a front set of rotor and brakes for my 2009 Ford F150 through Amazon. The item came in a timely manner; however, they sent to wrong part. I returned the order, but their refund process is not customer friendly. Due to the combination of failing to send the correct parts and not resolving my concerns in a timely manner, I would not recommend them.

From start to finish

Price, speed, quality was acceptable for such a discounted price. Customer service completely resolved my issue very quickly, and on a sunday. I would say that end of the business is excellent, even if the people they hire in the warehouse aren't the smartest people in the world. Also, a very easily navigated site.

Shipping is not true

Ordered a part for my daughter’s car. When I bought it, it said it would be there within one to two days. I set up someone to fix her car with the parts on day three. Day three comes no part. I pushed it out five days still no part. Eight days later, the part finally comes. I ended up having to go and buy the part somewhere else which cost more money, but I was able to get the work done because she needed to be able to drive her car.

I had bought some struts for my nissan…

I had bought some struts for my nissan titan, when they arrived shipping box was practically destroyed. The struts boxes inside where still in tact,long story short decided on going in a different direction with 2in leveling struts. So got my return label and sent them back to get my money refunded. They sent me an email back with a picture of a destroyed strut out of the box that was never opened opened they can't refund used parts, well after getting jacked around two weeks I would look else where!

I placed an order on a Sunday

I placed an order on a Sunday, they are closed. Monday comes and I have not receive any order confirmation. I decided to chat on line for my order status and Fay tells me that the order is on hold due to two different address. Hello! on the order form it say "Ship to address" and "Bill to address" my addresses happen to be different. What upsets me is that they did not bother to reach out to me regards to the addresses. Fay took it out of hold to process and told me that they have the items in stock and it will ship out and that I will receive my tracking number within 24 hours. Tuesday came and no tracking number, Wednesday came and no tracking number. Every time I reached out to them they tell me that the order will ship but never does. This website is a waste of time in placing an order. A order placed it should be shipped out within 24 hours if the items are in stock.

Beware: very deceitful business

Beware, very deceitful business. I purchased from them in October of last year and they gave me a run around on shipping, they promise 2 day shipping and they did not deliver for over a week. I took a chance on June 30th 2025 and same gig, they promise 2 day shipping and I am on day 3 and so far they have only created a FedEx shipping label, FedEx does not have shipment yet. I notice a lot of others have had the same experience, I think they should be investigated by their local DA for deceitful practices, as well they should not be allowed to process credit or debit cards, and should have merchant account canceled.

ordered 2493765 NO HAPPY

We ordered 2493765 on 6/23/2025 recived emails the order had shipped on the 24th...when this didn't show up 26th I call CS who relayed to me this had not shipped because "it looked Fraudulent." Mind you the money's was removed immediately upon placing this order 2493765. We expected this shipment on Saturday 6/26 the latest 6/27 and it was the ETA given by the confirmation of the email. But nope your shipping department didn't send it out like they said on the morning of Friday the 27th...they waited until Saturday the 28th to ship...with a ETA of July the 1st...confirmed by EMAIL...when speaking to Johnathan today 6/30/25 I again asked for the ETA Johnathan confirmed it was shipped and a ETA was July 1st and gave me the tracking number....here is the BULLSHIT!!! When I tracked this order through FEDEX...Its in TEXAS!!!! Really? This seems to be a blatant or deliberate reaction or attempt to show your ass to my emails and phone calls to CS...now I used to do alot of business and even promoted this company Detroit Axle...not anymore infact im Google reviews I had that were positive are going to reflect this transaction. And I will not remove this review until you make up for this absolutely debacle of a transaction you were paid for on the 23rd of June and with excuse after excuse I do not receive this order until Thursday July the 3rd Because one of your team members thought it to be funny to send this order to Texas....And no I will not order anything for this company again. I'll go to your competition.

Placed a order for parts

Placed a order for parts, was told it would take 2 DAYS, 2 DAYS AFTER I should have got them i never did.. now they are fighting me to fight fedex which is also a DEAD END.. just pay the extra money and go to a local part store!!!

They knew what they were talking about

They knew what they were talking about. Got the resolution to my problem and got back to my day. Ihave been using Detroit Axle parts for a few years now. For me it has been a better product at a cheaper price than the local stores.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I never write reviews. But I’ll make an exception for this company. Complete waste of time & $. Had to contact them 3 times for parts that were missing in the kit I purchased. They provide no information regarding packages or tracking #’s. Just purchase locally or anywhere but Detroit Axel. Hope you guys can learn from our experiences and not have to go through it the hard way like the rest of us.

I needed the left front axel for my…

I needed the left front axel for my jeep my son ordered it from Detroit axel on April 5. When we tried to put it in it was the wrong part and it was broken we returned Both axel's to Detroit Axel. They told me they can find the bad axel but cannot find the good one and therefore can't refund me for the good axel they cannot find. They also charged a restocking fee for the bad axel. Now if the axel is broken how can it be restocked.
I have been calling them sense 5/23/2025 to get it refunded and always get the same answer "we can't find the axel". I have the receipt from sending both parts back and am still waiting on a refund of $100.00.
This is the worst case of customer service I have ever encountered all over $100.00. Which should have been refunded without me having to call them back to begin with, but no in order to get a refund you have to call them.
I have spoken to multiple individuals in their customer service department with no resolve I went so far as to ask for a manager call back which has not happened either.
This is just a company trying to take advantage of their customers!
Therefore I believe they owe me for the Axel they lost as well as the restocking fee.
If I could give them zero stars I would! I will never order from this company again and I will tell everyone I know how absolutely Horrible they treat their clients!

Bye-bye Detroit Axle

Crap products with crappy customer service. Just read that the tariffs could shut them down for good since most of the product line comes from China and Mexico with a juicy total of 75% tariff rate for the combined imports.

I have to tell you DO NOT buy from this…

I have to tell you DO NOT buy from this Detroit Axle they did not delivery my parts to the correct address and after hours of waiting on the phone and customer service been horrible they still never give me my money back. There’s even proof of my balcony/ porch of my address and the one they sent me and didn’t even match, however they don’t care. Totally SCAM AND RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE. And don’t waste time asking for a call back from a Supervisor because they don’t care.
