Impeccable service and great finished product

I appreciate being able to try on frames before buying them. I have a very small face and finding frames that fit without looking like they belong on a 9 year old is quite difficult. I was able to find frames that work and received the glasses in a timely manner. They fit great and I can see much better now!

Outstanding speed from order to…

Outstanding speed from order to delivery. Glasses were exactly as shown. Fit was just a bit off, nothing I couldn’t adjust on my own though. Overall, tremendously satisfied, this is my second pair of Kind’s. I regularly get compliments on the glasses.

Everything was smooth

Everything was quick and easy to maneuver through the step. When I needed help the got back to me promptly and I live my glasses. I was out last night and took them off to read a menu and left them on a window sill. Luckily I went back to the restaurant and they were there. I was so relieved since I just got them and really liked them.

Please come back, David Kind!

I wish I had better understanding on what is going on with David Kind! I absolutely love the look and feel of both pairs (Finn and Roman) I’ve purchased over the past few years… but something has changed with customer service and responsiveness within the last year! The temple on Finn unexpectedly broke one morning and I inquired after warranty (advertised as 10 yr) or repair. Roman could use a tune up too. I received a response saying that they are no longer doing refurbishing/tuneups, but could send me a replacement temple piece for $50. I said yes please and asked for more details on what the warranty actually covers…. And no response. I’ve emailed several times since and have received no reply. Genuinely confused as to what is going on! There is nothing on their website saying to expect delays in response, or that they are short staffed, or closing the business. I was hoping for this to be my last stop for eyewear, and am actually quite disappointed that seems to not be possible at this point.

Pining for previous service experience

I bought my last 2 frames from D/K, and I told everyone it was a 5+ star experience; however, this most recent experience is disappointing. There were long delays in communications, and my 2 recent messages have been unanswered for 2 weeks. I want to be a life-long D/K customer, and I'll always cheer for D/K success; however, I can't give a strong rating this time around.

Worst Online Shopping Experience I’ve Ever Had

It took almost two months to receive my glasses. I emailed customer service around 10 times during that time, and only received 2-3 responses, and those only after several days. I never received confirmation emails or updates without asking several times. When the glasses arrived, they were extremely low quality—I’ve paid $20 for better glasses. I returned them, following the companies instructions, but have yet to receive my refund or any email update. In fact, the survey is the first automated message I’ve received from the company since I placed my order. Absolutely atrocious customer service.

I’m convinced this is a scam

I’m convinced this is a scam. I placed an order over a month ago. When I checked out, they said someone would be in touch to get my prescription. No one did. I emailed several times and it still took weeks to get a reply. They said my information was incomplete, so I provided the info they requested, then crickets again.

After a few weeks, I emailed asking for a refund and they said my glasses were shipping and I’d receive a tracking number. I never received a tracking number or any update, and my request for a refund was completely ignored.

Don’t do business with these people.

Was sent defective glasses and the solution was to bring to a optician to fix. Customer service took days to respond and my insurance claim request was never processed.
