Bike Purchase!

Bike Purchase!
Bike arrived as expected!! really happy with the purchase and product.

However had an issue with the brake pads ... and according to the team I was the one that contaminated them during handling.

I am a bike mechanic and know how to properly handle brakes and their respective pads.

Bit disappointment with the response I got, taking into account how satisfied I am with the purchase.

Overall Good Experience with Cycle Limited

I was a little hesitant about buying a pre-owned bike over the internet, but after researching and reviewing Cycle Limited, and having a consultation call with them, I felt confident that all should go well. So, I ordered the bike I wanted, and shipping was fast and the bike well packed. The day I received it, I attempted to take it for a test spin; but, within a minute into the ride, there was a (rare) mechanical failure with the bike.

I called Cycle Limited and told them the issue. After a short period of discussion and analyzing, Cycle Limited understood the mechanical issue and suggested that I take the bike to my local bike shop and have them fix it—confirming that they will reimburse me for the repair cost. They were sincerely apologetic and immediately reimbursed me fully for the cost of repair and my time. Again, this was a rare mechanical issue that would not have been noticed until these (small) parts decided they were no longer going to work 100%--something that happens when a bike has a lot of miles on it.

My bike shop did the repair—which was quick and simple. I took the bike on a 36-mile ride with no issues. The bike is great and I’m loving it.

I will definitely consider Cycle Limited again if/when considering purchasing another certified pre-owned bike in the future.
