Today I finally spoke with a supervisor just to confirmed that they will keep my premium + 1st payment after a policy cancelation done by them. People do not make any business with them. Cover Whale I will make you famous on TV, no body should get any business with this thiefs.

This insurance is BS. Operating Authority was revoked because they filed a week after the payment was made. I HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM FOR THE WHOLE 3 WEEKS AND COUNTING BUT THEY LEFT ME HANGING. I kept on emailing them and calling but they are avoiding it. THEY TOOK THE DOWNPAYMENT AFTER THAT THEY WILL CONSISTENTLY IGNORE YOU.

Company decided to wait until my last month to cancel me due to hard braking issues one week. While I explained that my truck was being serviced for brakes and rotors and mechanic advised them of this as well with documentation and repair invoice, they still cancelled my policy after receiving all the premium from me. This caused my authority to have a revocation on FMSCA while still having a month left til their cancelling date and companies started turning me down for work. I had no indication of this but one email after the fact of them doing this. I am scrambling now to get new insurance as was not prepared to come up with down payment as I was thinking I had 2 months of no premium pay. They did it this way so they could still collect premium and not have to cover me the months where I had no payment. I had no issues all year with hard braking. I would not recommend this company for any trucking business big or small. This is why they come in a cheaper rates because they are scammers. BE AWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Extremely unprofessional and unresponsive! I had a canceled policy with Cover Whale, and the refund process has been a nightmare. After paying $32,515.55, they only reimbursed a portion, leaving $14,555.90 unaccounted for. On top of that, Extra Mile Insurance was supposed to refund $2,139.97 in unearned commission but has remained silent and ignored my inquiries.

Despite multiple emails and follow-ups, no one is providing clear answers or a proper breakdown of charges. I was charged an outrageous amount for just 19 days of coverage, and neither Cover Whale nor Extra Mile Insurance is taking responsibility.

This company is quick to take your money but impossible to reach when it’s time to return what’s owed. Avoid them at all costs!

This company is a scam. They issued the insurance policy, took out the deposit and the next day they sent a cancellation notice but have held onto the deposit and made no attempt to provide a refund. Do not use this company unless you're willing to lose your deposit and insurance coverage in a matter of days.

Their agents are frauds and will sell you anything to get your money. The customer trusts these agents to provide proper coverage to stay within state regulation but not their agents../

WORST INSURANCE COMPANY EVER. It's not a surprise they have an F rating with the BBB. Two days after signing up, they started hounding me about my ELD. My truck was in for service so I couldn't install the ELD I had. One email everyday DEMANDING I install ELD or they'd cancel my insurance, after I paid them a full years premium. When I went to install mt ELD they refused to let me use it ( a HOS 247). I was told that I had to buy their cameras and ELD. After I paid 305.00 for camera (which was actually CAMERAS), they told me all I needed was the ELD but refused to credit me for the cameras even though they hadn't shipped them. THEN they reported that my insurance was going to be cancelled to the FMCSA. I fixed all the DEMANDS they made. I CANCELLED MY POLICY AND FIRED THE IDIOT AGENT THAT SET ME UP WITH THEM. We'll see how long it takes them to refund my premium. IF YOU USE THIS COMPANY..... YOU'LL END UP REGRETTING IT, TRUST ME.

Truck was at the mechanic to change the motor, it takes a while, Cover whale cancelled the insurance because the camera of the truck was not connected even though the truck doesnt have batteries at that moment.

Horrible company! They cancelled us twice for no reason!! Then claimed they didn’t get any of our deposits!! There’s also a 2 hour wait to talk to anyone and when you do they are extremely rude!!! Stay away from this company!!
