    I don't like the deceptive handling…

    I don't like the deceptive handling fees added on but this seems to be par for the course now on the internet. These Focus dailies were discontinued and your're the only choice now. Once your out of lenses I'm out of luck. Alcon should have kept these 69% water lenses going but they replaced them with more plastic and chemicals in the solution instead. I'm happy you still have them although you're charging 3 times the price I used to pay three years ago. $25 a box free shipping is now tripled plus shipping.

    My Contacts America story


    My Contacts America story
    In February of 2025 I ordered from Contacts America 4pairs of RGP contact lenses
    The initial contact person I dealt with seemed a bit confused and later I saw that she had misspelled my name on the order form

    To make a long story short, the worst possible thing that can happen when you order on-line contacts happened to me

    Contacts America sent me an incorrect prescription and then blamed me for it. Not refunding or replacing the incorrect lenses

    Contacts America claims that they attempted to contact my optometrist, yet my optometrist has no record of a prescription request from Contacts America or anyone else for over a year

    Also, Contacts America has my optometrist office address listed in the wrong state.

    Below is the response they emailed me when I pointed out that Contacts America had sent me incorrect contact lenses;

    We completely understand your frustration. Checking your order xxxxxxx, our records show that the last representative informed you via email that we had not received a copy of your prescription after the order was placed. As a result, we sent a fax to your eye care provider with the order details, but we have not received a response from them within the 8-business-hour window. If we do not receive the prescription within this time frame, your order will be processed and unplanned as we have the process and procedures which Contact Lens Act mandates.

    Additionally, we only received a copy of your prescription from your last email, ticket number [1514381]. Unfortunately, we’re unable to process an exchange, as the package has already been delivered and the item is classified as a final sale. we’re also able to review or listen to the call you had with our representative that assisted you in placing the order to ensure the accuracy of your order.

    I want to say that I never received an email from Contacts America requesting my prescription

    I uploaded my prescription to Contacts America during my initial phone conversation with USA contact's phone sale’s person

    In the above correspondence it indicates that Contacts America shipped off contacts to me without a prescription

    Contacts America says the following:

    “ Additionally, we only received a copy of your prescription from your last email, ticket number xxxx. Unfortunately, we’re unable to process an exchange, as the package has already been delivered and the item is classified as a final sale. we’re also able to review or listen to the call you had with our representative that assisted you in placing the order to ensure the accuracy of your order".

    This means that Contacts America shipped me over 3 hundred dollars in in-correct contact lenses with out having my prescription?????

    What? Why would they do that?

    But the above statement can not be true because the prescription Contacts America used for the contact lenses they sent me was accurate in every respect except for the base curve

    Therefore they did have an accurate contact lens prescription but the copy of the prescription they sent me has the incorrect base curve

    So the correct prescription I uploaded to Contacts America was altered by USA Contacts

    Why or how they did this I have no idea

    Anyway this customer of Contacts America now has hundreds of dollars of useless contact lenses because he decided to do business with Contacts America.

    So that’s my experience of deciding to order contacts with Contacts America
