unnecessary useless service

no way to contact them. their bots are non responsive they send emails that are not necessary. i pay and receive all my bills directly on the property website, their bills and emails are unncessary and just another way to rip off tenants. extra cost. trying to talk or email someone is impossible. property managers should just get rid of them. also they will not provide evidence to justify the bills so not sure what service they provide. i want them to stop emailing me their useless, unnecessary emails but there is no way to contact them.

This company deserve zero stars

These people deserve zero stars. I would take stars away if I could. I will never rent again from a place who uses them. I pay my utility bills through my utility company and my apartment uses these guys and they keep charging me vacant utility fees, saying my power and electric is turned off every month Which is not true, but I have to pay them or I’ll get an eviction notice and then they’ll research it and give me my money back the next month then it starts all over again every single month.

Probably one of the most disorganized

Probably one of the most disorganized, dishonest organizations used an apartment rentals that are absolute garbage I could never do anything right at the customer service is terrible and I’m trying to figure out how they base the single person living in a one bedroom apartment having water bills in outdoor utility bills higher than when I lived in a three bedroom house with a swimming pool. So if you people are looking for places to rent, ask if they use conserve us if they do go somewhere else because you’ll have nothing but a headache I wish I could give them a -4,000,000 stars cause that’s what they’re worth.

Definitely deserves 0 stars. If you’re interested in renting an apartment and they use this company for any utilities, rent somewhere else that doesn’t. Our water bill for 2 people in a one bedroom is $150-$200 monthly. There are no leaks in our apartment and no way we’re using that much water.

Tried to get customer service to fix my bill with the correct amount, and they said I was wrong. They are trying to charge me for two months, when I have proof that I am up to date and even shows I paid on their site. Worse customer service ever.

If I could give this company a zero…

If I could give this company a zero stars I would it's not even worth the one star. I worked for this company for over 3+ years. No raises, no performance reviews, no recognition.. The company treats you like garbage. They demand you to do things they don't ask. They say they value family and everything is about doing stuff for your families, but they drill you for obituaries and don't give you the time you need to heal.. They don't want you to have relationships with your coworkers you are essentially supposed to sit down shut up and not say a word. They don't train you for your position at all they expect your coworkers to train you as you get into the position. Oh and the best part is when you feel like your being harassed and it's an extremely hostile workplace environment and you voice it they then retaliate and write you up for behavior issues in order to fire you because they can't fire you for doing your job because your a top performer every single month.. oh, and don't think you're going to be able move up in the company because they will shut you down faster than you can say boo.. this company doesn't give a crap about their employees and they don't give a crap about their clients. Everyone hates their jobs and they get paid crap so no this company I give a zero.

CONservice is a joke

CONservice - you pay a fee for the "CONvenience" of their services that were FORCED upon you! They are a middleman that doesn't accurately do their job OR care to fix their mistakes!! They manage solid waste for the San Antonio homes they were contracted by Progress Residential. They gave the wrong day. I was told I CANNOT contact the provider directly, that I HAVE to call CONservice to resolve. They told me 3-5 business days on the phone, then 7-10 business days in their chat support. I looked up the trash pickup day on the City of San Antonio Solid Waste Management website (entered my home address) and THURSDAY is the trash pickup day! CONservice is INEPT!

I would give zero stars if an option

I would give zero stars if an option. Forced to pay their ‘fee’ but their statements are wrong way too often!!! Garbage service in general. After being in hold 15 minutes - and listening to their ‘while you are on hold you have two options - stay on hold or press 1 for a call back’. That message plays every 40 seconds!!! They must think it’s funny torturing customers with crap statements and zero customer service. They should be sued!!!!!

Now I’m stuck paying $100+ a month for water and sewage! If your apartment complex adds them run… what a scam! All the apartments do is pocket that extra money when have you ever had to pay hundreds in utilities for a 1,000 sq ft apartment..

I've worked as a Customer Service…

I've worked as a Customer Service Support amd a Security Specialist for many fine companies. Conservice is not one of those companies.
Whether by incompetence or actual criminal malfeasance this utility rate maintainence company has a high in low customer service.
Im a totally disabled service connected veteran. My apartment rental, cable, internet and other utilities.

Unfortunately in the four plus years of living in a Greystar managed property, my bills have yet to be paid either on time, or without late fees.
Its been a long and unnecessarily anxious and stressful time.

This is the absolute worst utility…

This is the absolute worst utility company I've ever had to deal with. I had a bigger apartment and never paid more than $45-$75 for water. My water bill has been $160-$180. More than my electric bill. More than family members in a house pay and they washer machine that's used a lot. This company is a joke. Hate them.

Horrible

Horrible. Charged me an unauthorized vacant fee $182…in Octobers rent but says it was for the month of July. I reached out right away very questionable and charged this my last month in apartment. (7mo) I never called to have electric service cancelled right in middle of lease. Who does that? Very unorganized and I’m paying for someone else’s mistake. Won’t refund that balance on my record until December. When in fact my last day in apartment was 10/28. I turned in my keys. I did not pay that extra money because it was wrong. Took a month for them to investigate. So for landlord office telling me i must pay within 30 days or my credit. So juggling my money around. I think not especially when I don’t have it to throw away. So wrong unfair questionable business practices. I will never rent another unit associated with con-service. First and last time.

never a full bill, always missing one of the utilities

My landlord requires that we not have our utlilities directly in our name, but through Conservice. This was never my choice. The first two months they didn't charge me for water, and when I realized it, they charged me for three months worth all at once. On month 4, they didn't bill me for electric and when I called, they said it was because the bills from the provider come by mail and it must not have arrived on time. But this just means I will owe two months worth next month! and the final straw, I get charged $9.99 a month for this 'service" but my Landlord (Cushman and Wakefield) won't even allow us to pay the utility bill through Conservice. They add it to our rent and make it all due together. So anytime there are issues, I can't call the utility company directly, and I have to deal with the property manager. Since Ive been renting these four months, there have been three different property managers, one per month, so I am never able to contact the same person twice. Its maddening!
To be fair, the customer service at Conservice is nice, professional, and does try to help.

Customer service is totally unsatisfactory

Customer service is totally unsatisfactory. They create barriers to getting customer service representatives to help solve problems. They bill for water and sewer and they impose "vacant" charges
if they think you don't have an electric service provider who is billing you for it. I signed up with
Gexa Energy on the day I moved in. They imposed
erroneous "vacant" charges anyway. Their customer
service number creates barriers to getting a customer service representative on the line. I have
also contacted them by email and produced documents showing I was billed for electricity with
Gexa Energy. They have so far failed to respond and fix the problem.
Update on 10/24/2024. I have come to believe that this company is intentionally trying to rip me off. I emailed documents documents which proved I was receiving bills from Gexa Energy since the first day of service. They still refused to take the bogus "vacant" charges off of my bill. At this point I'm wondering if I should refer the matter to an attorney for possible criminal prosecution.

Added fee for what exactly.....?

My college daughter and roommates ALL get a 5.50 tacked on to their billing. For? No one can tell us. For splitting bill? For processing? What? Must be nice to tack on 5.50 per bedroom, not even per unit. Which in her student housing apartment complex that translates to an easy 800 a month extra! Again for what?

I contacted company and asked if I could prepay a few months of electricity in order to save this added fee. Of course response was we couldn't.

Can't wait for my daughter to finish school and get out of a college town. We get wrangled at every turn. 😡

Honestly this should be illegal. Some kind of service should come on with a supposed "fee".

I live in Atlanta

I live in Atlanta. we switched to Con- service for water/sewer.
I am set up on auto pay and once a year I get a late fee. have to call and they charged like 2 times more claiming I used more water. every year. I trump off my water when I travel. It has also increased at least $9 a year. but then I have to deal with evening out the con. So some how I used a twice the water I ever used before with a gradual incline and it's when I am traveling usually. :). plus they have a $6 Monthly fee for their accounting. So I pay for them to bill me extra.
