If I could give no stars, I would.
I am a stage 4 cancer patient that can not wear makeup. I was watching a TikTok live unrelated to Colourpop and fell asleep. Somehow I woke up having ordered a $55 mystery box. Since it was less than an hour of ordering and on a weekend, I tried to cancel. Speaking with their customer service they told me to cancel through TikTok shop. I had already tried that 5 times and every time it says the reason i could not was because "order has already been shipped". The tracking number provided clearly stated that the order was awaiting processing and not shipped.
Two days with Colourpop trying to cancel an order I could not even use and was going to set me back in a bad way financially. I was told by a colourpop representative to let them ship it and they would refund my money on return. When the product arrived, a week after it was mistakenly ordered, I took it back to the post office the very next day. Most companies you just need a shipping label and to put the return in the drop box. They wanted to charge me 7 dollars to return something I tried for days to cancel. Since my bank account was now at -37.43 thanks to Colorpop, I could not afford the return fee. The post office suggested that I return to sender, but would not let me film or take pictures inside the post office at the counter. I really needed that money back so I had the post lady return it to sender.
Then I waited. I contacted Colourpop a few times in the next two weeks and was told to be patient. They have been putting me off for 4 weeks, only now to finally tell me a month later that they never received the package and that it was too late to get a refund. I had asked several times over the past month to please check to see if they received it and they told me to be patient.

Everything about this is shady business practices.
First I could not cancel an item less than an hour after mistakenly ordering because "It's been shipped", yet the tracking number clearly stated it was awaiting processing.
Secondly, they told me if I couldn't cancel it through the web site, then it was going to be shipped. They assured me that there would be a refund on return.
Third, they shipped it days later with full knowledge that it was to be returned and that I could not even use the product.
Fourth, they wanted me to pay for return shipping on something I didn't want them to ship in the first place and knew I wouldn't be able to pay the return shipping fee.
Fifth, I feel like they intentionally strung me along until the "window for refunds" would expire.
I've been treated better by my health insurance company.

TL:DR Don't spend money with Colorpop unless you are absolutely sure that you want the item, because you will never see that money again.

First time shopping with Colourpop, Soo impressed, soooo cute! Love the packaging of the makeup, it’s ergonomic and adorable, colors are pretty and popping, with the perfect staying power. Definitely one of my newest favorite make up brands!

My daughter liked their products. She wasn't thrilled with some of the eyeshadows for the Naruto makeup, but was overall happy.

I was not aware of their absolutely no return policy. Their lip product gave me an allergic reaction. When I wrote the company to find out how I could do an exchange or return, they told me “ We're so sorry for the issue! If you have allergies or are sensitive to some cosmetic ingredients, we recommend only purchasing one item at a time to test for any type of reaction before purchasing multiple items. We also recommend checking the ingredient listing of each item on our site to be sure you are not allergic to any listed ingredients. Unfortunately, we have a strict no return, refund or exchange policy. Our return policy is available on our FAQ here…”

I’ve never had a reaction before and only purchased 1 item from them. Unfortunately, it was one of their packs.

So just be aware that they absolutely have a no return/exchange policy.

The positive is that I love their cream stick eyeshadow and the ease of use. Plus the shipping was quick. My only issue is that when I ordered blush compacts one of the two arrived in pieces. I was able to get in contact with customer service for a replacement after I sent pictures of the product. Only issue is that when I received the replacement it too was in pieces. I will continue to order cream shadow sticks, but nothing else that has to do with palettes or powders.

The shipping is a little (and only a little) slow. The quality of every product I have purchased is impeccable. The color payoff is awesome, and all the liners are smooth and pigmented! I have been using the skin care and setting spray recently and I love them both! I reccomend Colourpop to everyone I know!

I've been a customer of Colourpop for many years. I've seen a decline in product quality and customer service. My most recent order will be my last purchase with Colourpop. I received the Vegan Brush Set with multiple other products. This brush set has such a toxic smell, it had to not just be thrown away but actually removed from the house. The toxic smell is that strong. No way I would put those brushes to my skin that retain the smell. This is a huge decline of product quality. The customer service team has not responded regardless of the multiple reviews I've left after this experience. Highly disappointed about the decline in Colourpop overall. Do not recommend.

First of all I hate giving 3 star reviews but sometimes I just have to.
My package arrived like a month after I ordered it. That is a crazy wait time considering I paid 7 dollars for shipping.
Then I bought two of the bff mascaras in red and purple. They only lasted about an hour on my lashes. I looked in the mirror and there was none on them and I had put four coats on. They were also really clumpy.

I used to really enjoy ColourPop products, but they've been moving in a more plastic direction, so I'm not as comfortable supporting them as when I can recycle their pallets.
