Definetly Wouldn't recomennd to anyone! I am still waiting for my money for around 7-8 months when the data leak happend, to emails I get responds like: Yeah we are handling it, yes your payout is on it's way, yes you will receive your payment soon but no actions

Support takes over 24 hours, they ignored my emails and redrafts for 5 days until I asked them how it was wrong, where they finally responded to my email saying my proof of ownership wasn't sufficient though it was enough.

A really bad place to be a vendor, money from the dataloss has still not been received (been half a year), the withdrawal times are absurd. Not recommended to start with this business.

First of all, clearlydev has had a data breach which has taken them so long to recover our money and even now i am still waiting for the money. The owner doesnt help you, unless you beg. The support is horrible and they do not actually help you instead keep on repeating the same thing that they will get to you soon. I would avoid them and highly not recommend them.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. ClearlyDev has been both a godsend and a curse. They hardly refund products even if it is within your consumer rights. Their pricing is also horrendous, you end up with 3 different prices and the price you pay at checkout is less than you actually pay. A £1 product is actually £1.44 although it says at checkout £1.20. The website is awfully laggy and slow, and for someone who browses a lot of products at once it really isn't fit for purpose.

As a seller on Clearly dev, I have had numerous issues with getting support when one of my products gets rejected or with any thing else for that matter. The website takes 20 seconds to load one page, and that is not an exaggeration. Finally the recent data loss meant that I had many products de-listed and money lost. They need to get their game together.

Pros:
ClearlyDev is very open and accessible. There are no limitations or restriction, everything is free, and there's no need for a premium subscription to access features. Everyone is treated equally, which I find refreshing. You can upload an unlimited number of images to your product listings without worrying about file size limits, which is a huge plus. As a seller who's been active on ClearlyDev for over two years, I can confidently say that the platform is profitable. I receive consistent sales, and for anyone wondering, yes, you can definitely earn money here.

Cons:
However, there are a few downsides. Withdrawals often take a long time to process, and uploading a product for review can also be slow. When there was a data loss incident, it was unfortunately handled very poorly, and it took a long time for users to receive their money. What concerns me the most is the staff team and the company's leadership. In my experience, they lack maturity and often fail to treat the community and sellers with respect. Rather than providing helpful responses, they tend to ignore people, which damages the company’s image.

Final Thoughts:
I truly love ClearlyDev and see a lot of potential in it. I don’t want to see this platform fail or go bankrupt. I sincerely hope the team improves their professionalism and community engagement in the near future.

I have been a trusted vendor on clearly and the customer service and treatment to the store owners are soo bad. They fail to address issues fast and hold payments for months and lose payment data aswell. I believe that fraudulant activities are happening behind the scene

I’m facing the same issues others have mentioned. The owner and staff constantly make empty promises like “payments will be made next week,” yet nothing ever happens. It's been months of waiting with no progress.

Product approvals take forever, sometimes weeks, and withdrawals are painfully slow and often taking over a month. The website itself is outdated, slow, and full of bugs. It feels like no real effort is being made to improve anything.

DMCA takedowns and review requests are handled just as badly, either ignored or endlessly delayed.

Yes, the platform makes money off its users, but is it worth it? Only if you're comfortable waiting months just to access your own earnings. Very disappointing.

Product approvals can take several weeks, and withdrawals often take over a month. The website itself is slow and poorly built.

DMCA and review requests are also poorly managed.

Do you make money on this broken marketplace? Yes.

Is it worth it? Only if you're fine waiting months for basic withdrawal requests.

Would I switch to any other marketplace just to stop using ClearlyDev? Absolutely.

horrible website, owner is a scammer himself. only way he listens to do is if you beg for him which is pretty weird. sure this websites earns you money but not enough to justify the long wait times and horrible services

I have been working with ClearlyDev when they first setup in 2021/2022. This website allows you, a seller to upload your products on the site and sell them. An extremely convienant idea but it has been an up and down experience. When I first joined it was a great website for passive income for selling my roblox assets but since then it has slowly gone down hill. The website is extremely slow, staff are very difficult and don't take responsibility for their actions. This has been on-going since last year with withdrawl times for funds are extremely long, they can take up to four weeks to be accepted and another week to reach your bank.
There was also a data loss between December 2024 and February 2025 where people lost orders and money. This money has still not be given to sellers including myself. When confronting management, they're very sarcastic and unserious, often posting memes in response. They give very little information about what is going on, they give more and more excuses everytime about what is going on. It is very frustrating and disappointing.

In regards to DMCA, they're very reluctant to remove stuff and allow people to continue to post work that is not theirs or takedown stuff without zero proof.

The current website known as V1 is very slow with no analytics section so you cannot see how much you make and you rely on trusting these people to give you the correct money despite their flaws. In 2023/2024 we had to confront them about this as the website had very unclear fees for both sellers and the customer, only when they were pressured did they fix this issue.

A combination of these factors makes me sadly say that I do not recommend ClearlyDev to both seller or consumer. You'd be better off buying directly from the seller on their own website or by messaging them on discord.

Extremely slow website which is uneasy to navigate. As a vendor, products are supposed to be up the night I make them and I put my products up for sale for 3 days and clearlydev still hasn't changed the status. Extremely awful customer service as I am still owed 20£ from the dataleak which still hasn't been sent to me despite many requests via email and tickets. Do not recommend, Payhip if the way to go.

Awful seller experience - they had a data loss event which I personally feel was staged as they do daily backups and magically all those backups failed apparently for 3 months and they only managed to save the financial data which they said they would restore to sellers which they haven’t and they haven’t paid me out my money which they said they would months ago and they treat sellers like crap and there DMCA policies are horrendous as if the person you submit the DMCA against submits counter to them which contains 0 proof they just accept it and they slander sellers in there discord server avoid this company if your a seller and avoid them if your a buyer!

They had some data loss outage and it took them 8-9 months to pay my amount back. However, 9 months later they didn’t even pay the full amount claiming that they paid some during the data loss period with no proof.

They have no respect for their sellers.

Great for making money. Rubbish if you want to receive that money. Sellers are treated awfully with an abhorrent lack of honesty & transparency, with waits up to 1-2 months simply to receive money.
