I am pleased using the clean energy you produce even though it costs a bit more than conventional electricity, especially now that the Republican leaders want to deregulate the energy industry and plunge our planet into even more devastating storms and natural disasters which are of course man made due to increased carbon the atmosphere.

What to do when power distributors jack their price up.
Last year I was looking for a good rate with a company that would hold it for the 2-year term that I was renting a house for. However, the rate was increased to $.18 /Kwhr. The default rate offered by the Power Company at $.13 / Kwhr so I had to take it. For the past few weeks, I have been harassed by phone calls, emails, postal mail and texts trying to get me to switch back to CleanChoice. I told them about the rate change and the big difference, and they still push to change suppliers. What part of your price is too high that you don't get.

We establish our rates based on several factors, but the main factor is the market cost of electricity in your area. You are seeing changes day to day because, like any other commodity, the cost of electricity does change day to day. However, we do offer fixed rates that lock our customers in a fixed price per kilowatt hour from 12 to 24 months.
