I requested service at 7am

I requested service at 7am. I received confirmation that it would be done the same day if submitted before 2pm which I did. I called at 430 pm because no electricity was connected at my home. After a half an hour of providing information that you should already have I was told that my account required validation. I was not explained what that means but no one called me and now I have moved into a hot house in the middle of summer and have no electricity. No good explanation that made any sense. Please listen to the recording.

The plans offered are misleading

The plans offered are misleading. I signed up for a plan through Gexa showing a rate of ~$0.10 / kWh, but as I dug deeper I discovered the rate is actually $0.20 / kWh if you don't use 1000 kWh in a month, and a $125 flat credit if you do. Half my year is <1000kWh/mo. Most of these plans are designed to trick customers into paying more than they think, and hide the details in the fine print. I don't recommend using this website.
