Customer for Life!

I’ve had 3 bottom night guards from Chomper for my grinding/TMJ. decided I wanted to get a top to keep my teeth from shifting and also continue helping with the TMJ. I messed up the 2 molds they give you and they sent me a 3rd mold for free AND paid for express shipping to get my guard to me faster. That makes me a customer for life!

No refund/replacement guaranteed. Cheap, flimsy product. Stay away!

Horrific from start to finish. I ordered the thin day guard, which after 3 weeks .. finally arrived. It wore down and had holes within 3 days. I requested a refund, and they offered to replace it instead. Another few weeks goes by, and I receive the replacement. Same issue. I requested a refund at this time, and I was told that I need to send BOTH guards back. I only had the one since, why would I keep the original one? Someone finally “allowed” me to ship it back. Well, tracking info was provided via USPS and the package got lost. It’s been almost 2 months, and they are now saying that until it arrives, I am not eligible for a refund. So even though it’s no longer in my possession and was returned at their request, you won’t provide the refund. They say have a 100% guarantee, or money back , which they will not uphold.

Oh , should also note it takes days for customer service to respond. DAYS.

I regret ever using this company’s product and would never recommend it to anyone.

What happened to CHOMPERS?

Something very bad has happened to this once quality company. I have bought mouth guards for several years from Chompers. This year the experience was horrible. The tray was very different and didn’t fit my mouth at all. They sent another one, I did the impression and when I got my mouthguard it didn’t fit AT ALL. They asked me to send it back, my cost. Then promised to use my old impression from the past year to make a mouth guard. It never happened. I bought it in November. It is February. I was told they have a lot of orders.
I demanded a full refund after they tried to charge me extra for the second tray they sent.
What a disaster. There is not even an option to speak to a customer service agent on the phone. (That is also a change from the past.) Sad to see this company nose dive like this.

Trays do not fit wisdom teeth and limited customer service options

Customer service is typically only through e-mail or sometimes their internal chat messaging. I got my impression trays and they both did not fit my wisdom teeth. I contacted customer service and was sent another tray. That tray did not fit my wisdom teeth. They then offered to send another tray but was not any longer to fit wisdom teeth. Their impression trays do not fit wisdom teeth.

They offered a refund at a reduced rate and tried to charge me for the impression trays and shipping.

Chomper Labs CA are Croaks

Oct, 2024 This company is a scam. Their customer service as others have said is a joke as the few below have stated. There is no phone contact. Do not work with them. Their current website is not up to date so what you see is not what you get. And what you get is inferior and then they aren't responsible for making it good or give you your money back. You will have to pay another $40 to correct their inferior product. The problem is you won't get what you spent $189 for so stay clear. I will be disputing my credit card and filing complaints with BBB, Attorney General's office, and the Consumer Affairs Dept of CA - probably won't do any good!

Night guard does not fit correctly and…

Night guard does not fit correctly ,requested a refund as their website states and yet have had no reply. Multiple emails have been sent as there is no other ways to contact them. They will take your money with no intention of a refund. Big scam with no honesty. Avoid at all cost.

complicated process and bad customer support

They sent me back my impression kits twice saying the impression would not work to create the guard and wanted to charge me $10 each time to do another impression. I reviewed the impressions both times before sending back and both times had fully captured my teeth. I decided to just cancel my order instead because I don’t want to deal with another impression that again may not be acceptable. They are not honoring a full refund and charging me for the impression kit and shipping ($25). This process had way too many complications and now I’m out money on a night guard that I’ll never receive.

Dangerous product. Free return claim is a scam

Would give 0 stars if I could. The Night guard I received fit so poorly that it was painful. When I tried to return it, they asked for more money to provide a replacement despite their claims to the contrary.

Not only is their product bad to the point of being dangerous (a dentist told me this would damage my teeth), but their marketing claims are shady and disingenuous.

From their website:
“Perfect Fit Promise - if it doesn't fit perfectly, we'll adjust or remake it for you until it does, free of charge”

The response I received from their support team:
“ I totally get how frustrating this can be, as per our policy, we can replace your night guard at no cost, but unfortunately we do have to charge a small fee of $10 for the additional impression materials.”

Excellent quality professionally made custom nightguards at an unbeatable price

I purchased a their hard nightguard from them two months ago as a replacement for one from a past dentist that was worn. My current dentist wanted $700 to make one which I felt was excessive. Their products were highly recommended by online reviews. They sent me an impression kit, I followed the instructions and then sent in pictures for review to make sure the impressions were sufficient. The only issue I had with the impressions was that I had some anxiety that I should have pressed the back teeth in more to better image the gumline but the company said that it was fine and to send it in. A few weeks later they returned a finished custom clear nightguard which fit perfectly and was better made than the previous seven year old one from my dentist. Previously the nightguard was made from the same kind of plastic used in car bumpers which cracked in around 2 years and had to be repaired using car bumper plastic cement. The new nightguard is made of a different material which is lighter, stronger and clear. It is also smoother and easier to clean. The total cost was only $150 and I have confidence that this is just as good as the $700 one that my dentist recommended. I highly recommend this company's nightguard products.
