this confirms that cex io is very strict and yes cross the line to arrogant for customers while is fast but lacks logic customer care.
Just because my husband helps me "decide" what to buy. BUT I do the buy and sale. Enough form them to get arrogant and huffy with us.

Cex now asking me for my transaction history from every wallet and exchange i have even transactions not linked to cex
This is insane. I have been with cex for years and have been able to deposit with no problem. I have recently decided to sell my crypto and liquidate. I am fully verified by the way. I tried to withdraw fiat which they declined. I then tried to convert it to bitcoin and xrp to withdraw into my private wallet which they blocked. I then receive an email stating they need extra information about me. They specifically ask me about a wallet and a transaction and to prove it's mine. They then asked me why I show my ip address in different places (I travel for work). Then an picture of me my passport and a sheet of paper that says I am a cex.io member and the date. They also ask me for a full transaction history of my exodus wallet. I comply and send everything. To my surprise I get another email. They need more information, now they are asking me about transactions from my exodus wallet fromm5 years ago to different addresses outside of cex and asking me who it was for and why. They also now want a complete transaction history of every exchange and wallet address I own. None of this has anything to do with their platform or is even linked to their platform. They are saying they need this to confirm what? Why do they need to see my other wallets or exchanges if they never had transactions to their exchange? My funds are frozen and they will not let me withdraw. They are stealing my funds which I need. We are moving and this money was for our move. This is insane

It has been two weeks since I tried to withdraw my assets. After multiple emails back and forth I was told my case has now been forwarded to review. I still can not withdraw, it's been in review for two full days now
New update my funds have been released. The process took about 10 days and they verified everything double, triple but funds have been released.

I used CEX.IO for several years and considered it a reliable platform, but despite having all available security measures enabled, my account was hacked and I lost all my cryptocurrencies of significant value on this platform. I always accessed my account from IP addresses in my country of residence, for which I had provided supporting documents during the KYC verification process. However, the CEX.IO security system failed to block or even suspect anything when a hacker accessed my account from an IP address on the other side of the world. The funds are irreversibly lost, and the platform’s representatives refuse to take any responsibility. I do NOT recommend using CEX.IO as it is NOT SAFE!

Uvek sam pristupao nalogu sa IP adresa svoje države u kojoj sam rezident i iz koje posedujem dokumenta koja sam CEX.IO platformi dostavio prilikom KYC verifikacije ali bezbednosni sistem CEX.IO nije blokirao moj nalog niti posumnjao kada mu je pristupio haker sa IP adrese na drugom kraju planete. Sredstva su bespovratno izgubljena a zvaničnici ne prihvataju odgovornost. Ne preporučujem korišćenje CEX.IO platforme jer NIJE BEZBEDNA!

Honestly this website is disgusting they charge like 10%-20% for purchasing crypto and swaps without making it clear the charges they will take... I am literally lost for words and it was not always this bad they just became thieves as time went on.. honestly looking for alternatives and i would never recommend anyone use this service, they said they would charge 5% as i purchased the crypto then charged me a hidden service fee for another 7%, what exactly did they do with 12% of my transaction??
