Without a doubt, when we get another dog, we’ll be sending it to SDCA and Adam!
Buster, our 10-month-old black Lab, is now pure joy to be around. He went through obedience training and then public access training. He was definitely rowdier than most, and we needed help.
At my daughter’s soccer game, I saw a dog not much older than Buster, off-leash, playing fetch. He would run back to heel position after retrieving the ball and sit with it in his mouth until commanded to drop it. I thought, Holy $#@! That’s cool—I want Buster to do that! So I introduced myself and asked about the dog’s training. That’s how I found out about SDCA. The owner spoke very highly of them, and now I can see why.
Buster’s obedience is 100 times better. He’s no longer a liability. No more bolting out the front door, pulling on the leash, ignoring recall, jumping on guests, digging, etc. He’s now a pleasure to be with—an amazing part of our family. It was worth every single dollar, and we are forever grateful.
Thank you for your expertise and the love you showed our dog.
P.S. Now, I’m asked about Buster’s training a couple of times a week when we’re out playing fetch. The frisbee, ball, anything you throw (or even accidentally drop!) he brings back by running around your right side to the left into perfect heal and sits with the object! He goes everywhere with us. One of the coolest things? On our morning walks to Starbucks, he’ll wait patiently at the door for his puppuccino and not budge until I give the break command!

I had an amazing experience with SDCA! They where incredibly helpful and friendly. Adam went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied, and he resolved my issue quickly. I had inputted the wrong DOB on the order form and didn't realize it until I received the package. I offered to pay for a new one but he would not have it, even though it was my fault! Now I understand why they are so highly recommended.

The Department for dog certification used to require the Guardian given a metal tag however ADA doesn’t require id for service dog it’s illegal for whomever to inquire!

Top Notch Training
We sent our “baby” out to Albuquerque from here in San Jose after interacting with a co-workers service dog at the office. I was so impressed I got their info. OMG! Awesome doesn’t even come close to the transformation. We sent out our unruly little girl for a 3 week boarding program and got back a obedient mobility aide dog that was hand delivered. They stayed for a two day period and went through all of her new skills and tasks. Down side is it took 4 months to get in the program so recommend contacting them before you get a new dog to get everything setup before hand. The Smith family thanks you guys for hard work

Does not work for Canada or Europe
The service does not work for residents outside the USA. Even if Adam tells you otherwise, if you're Canadian and traveling abroad, the regulations are different and the certification is no more valuable than what you can buy on Amazon. I never received my refund even though I returned all the equipment. It was a bad experience for me.

Customer for Life
I was over at a friends house who also has a service dog basically complaining that I was having a difficult time locating a vest for my dog. I told him that the companies I had contacted were not listening to what my needs were. Sure, some were polite but they all were trying to sell me a bunch of crap I didn't want or need. He told me to contact SDCA, and let me say how glad I was in doing so! I spoke with a gentlemen named Adam and the patience this man had with me was incredible (I can be difficult especially when frustrated). He was friendly, polite, knowledgeable and most importantly, a great listener. He assisted me in my selection and even told me how we could customize it more to my specific needs. I cannot recommend SDCA enough and will be taking my business there from here on out! Thank you SDCA!!
