Great EMR, little to no provider support

The EMR itself has so much potential and can really be great. The pricing is great, but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. First, there is no way to contact them by phone. Second, you have 0 timeline of when they will get back to you or who will be responding to you. I have had numerous messages go unanswered and even been ghosted on video calls. If their support team got it together this could be a great EMR but I will be canceling my membership due to the inconsistent support.

strongly advise against this!

It provides the basic functionality, but nothing more.
I was using the free version, which is not supposed to be time-limited. However, at one point my account froze, but my availabilities remained open. Customers were booking appointments without me being able to stop them or see the appointment details, as I could no longer access my account at all. 2 emails and a message on FB to their customer service to finally have the beginning of a tedious solution to close my availabilities and change platform.
I strongly advise against this! Poorly thought-out software on top of that.

The saving feature does not work but overall not bad

The saving feature does not work correctly and at times when you are trying to save your note it does not capture what you have completed correctly; it has happened to me a few times.

Also, I attempted to reach out to the customer service folks and I haven't heard back but overall for the price it's not bad.

Want to write meaningful notes that illustrate the fine clinical you are actually performing?

I was frustrated with Epic, CRPS, E-clinical, Cerner and Meditech. My notes felt meaningless, and in reading them I felt it was difficult to perceive any meaningful changes for my patients because these templates were NOT designed for my type of practice. Using CarePatron, I can now write notes that have data-points that I find meaningful, and in a format consistent with how I practice...with data to support my payments. Carepatron's system has the ability to use other providers' template samples, or personalize them, OR create them from scratch. I also have complicated billing and coding practices which combine osteopathic CPT codes with the other more standard procedure codes, as well as sometimes up to eight diagnoses on one visit. No problems here...just some extra time to add ALL of the Dx on the Superbill (if patients are using insurance)...updates coming every week make me feel like Carepatron is looking to improve access, appearance and documentation ALL the time. And all for a very very modest fee (especially if one is concerned about minimizing overhead). Did I mention the very nice AI bot AND real human tech support! Both invaluable....even for those less-than-tech savvy.

A+++++++++++ service with a smile. The fact that you can meet with the owner and share your needs is a true Testament to customer support. Thank you for all your help

I love their free tier!!

I love their free tier! It doesn't feel restrictive at all. The UI is cleanly organised and logical, everything just flows. I love the template designs and integrations.
Highly recommend 🙌

I tried Carepatron because I could for…

I tried Carepatron because I could for free before I paid for it and because their prices are cheaper than other services. However, the only way to get help was to set up a Zoom meeting, even though it says phone call, which I did. The person entered the Zoom meeting late, and then because I couldn't hear him immediately just hung up without trying to troubleshoot the issue. I really like good customer service, so I decided not to use my account, but I can't delete it. There is nowhere in the account to delete your account. I emailed them to ask them to delete my account. They said they would, but the account is still there. I checked. Then I emailed them again asking them to delete the account and nobody responded. I'm glad I didn't use the service.

Edit: My review was flagged for “harmful or illegal content.” I re-read this and all I see is my true experience that I can prove with emails and screenshots. I don’t think it’s right to have reviews pulled down because companies don’t like them, especially when it was my experience.
