Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience
I am extremely disappointed with how BuyBusinessClass.com, and specifically their agent who handled the cancellation and refund of my elderly parents’ international tickets.
We had booked two round-trip business class tickets for my parents (both in their 80s) to fly from JFK to Shanghai on June 10th, 2025. Due to a medical emergency, my father was advised by his doctor not to travel. The airline — Cathay Pacific — after received valid documentations from the hospital and doctor's office, kindly waived all penalties and confirmed they would authorize a full refund through the travel agency.
Despite this, BuyBusinessClass repeatedly gave us conflicting and misleading information. Initially, they claimed a partial refund was possible, then insisted we “upgrade” to fully refundable tickets by paying more upfront. Later they backtracked again. This caused weeks of confusion and stress, especially given my parents’ fragile health and the urgency of the matter.
Worse, after I directly secured the refund myself from Cathay Pacific — without any meaningful help from BuyBusinessClass — their agent threatened me over text messages to remove a negative review that I did not even post. This behavior was not only unprofessional but deeply unethical.
I’ve never experienced such poor service and blatant attempts to mislead a customer. Their lack of transparency, shifting refund policies, and coercive communication practices are unacceptable. No one should be subjected to this kind of treatment — especially when dealing with family health emergencies.
I do not recommend this agency to anyone, especially if you value honesty, accountability, or basic professionalism. I hope this review helps others avoid similar hardship.

Used them for the first time today to book a business class flight, and I was thoroughly impressed. A direct flight wasn’t available from my departure city, but the agent managed to secure business class seats on both legs at an exceptional rate. The agent was highly responsive and professional throughout the process. I also appreciated that they don’t charge you until the ticket is actually booked — a reassuring layer of transparency. Highly recommend!
