I was quoted the best price by Buy Back Boss and sent my phone in. When they got it they said it was in even better condition than I had said so they gave me more money than originally quoted!

They also communicated better than any business I've ever worked with: when I got the quote, when I got the mailing label, when they could see it had been mailed, when they received the phone, when they let me know the payout, and a couple of times while it was in the mail to say that if I had any questions to let them know. When I did email I got a response quickly and it was not a canned response.

I've never worked with such a responsive and honest business before. I will be back and I'm encouraging others to use them as well! Also, I am not being compensated to write this review.

Crooks downgraded my s22 from 136 to 40, because the screen mysteriously lifted. Documented photos will have to take legal action if they do not fix this.

I took one star away for the lack of time it took for the whole process. I've used other brands in past for getting rid of old phones. I definitely would use again. Next time instead of a check I'd do PayPal or something to speed things up. If you're thinking of using service don't wait, they are a great business to get cash for those old devices.

I sent my iPhone to Buy Back Boss and they received it on June 20, 2025. They promise processing within five business days. Not true. They have done nothing and today is June 30. I contacted the company and only got a push back response that they will analyze it and get back to me sometime. Seller beware.

I sent my IPhone 13 Pro Max in 2 weeks ago. I got email at 11pm today telling me “ "Light Scratching: This device has light, but noticeable scratching on the device" and now they want to offer $50 less. Looking at the other reviews, this seems to be a common theme. Thankful I took pictures all around the phone. I want my phone back so I can get a fair price for it

Original complaint: My phone was in FLAWLESS condition and at the time I accepted their offer it was worth $197. Had I selected the GOOD selection it would have been $183. It took a few days for them to evaluate it and it came back rated by them as GOOD -- "Light Scratching: This device has light, but noticeable scratching on the screen" with a final offer of $170 instead of the original $183 had I originally selected GOOD. No explanation for that additional reduction. My phone had screen protectors and cases on it since the day I got it. There was never a single scratch anywhere front or rear. I had taken pictures prior to carefully packing it. The photo they sent me had only a single minuscule scratch, or was it dirt, that was less than 1 cm. It was not in any of my multiple photos I took while packing it so it happened there -- if it really was really a scratch.

UPDATE June 25: This was escalated to the People Operations Manager who sent me more pictures showing very light scratching and apologized for the agent's refusal to escalate my initial email complaints and will correct that process in the future. As a good will gesture he mailed me an additional $25 in the interest of customer satisfaction. That was a very thoughtful move so I have increased my rating.

I've sold my "used" devices to several online resellers before, and the experience often involves them responding with low-ball counter offers because of supposed issues that don't exist. In stark contrast to that, my experience with buybackboss was boring in the best possible way: they had the best offer, I packaged and sent my phone, and they sent me a check for the amount they quoted. No bait-and-switch tactics, no haggling for concocted reasons, just legitimate straight-forward business. I couldn't reasonably ask for any better!

I sent them AirPods 2 pro they told me they were fake can’t be because apple repaired the left on showed proof of the warranty still left on them now they want me to pay for return shipping I’m not because I didn’t pay shipping when they sent the label don’t deal with buy back they are very deceptive and sneaky liars sell them on facebook marketplace or ebay
