Customer service is sh!tty, at best but it's actually nonexistent. There's no phone number and they never answer emails.
Food is definitely not the best (at leastbased on my dogs' teactions to it and Pooty eats EVERYTHING) , especially for the price.
All adds up to pricey, dogs' "meh" reaction, and nonexistent customer service. There are far better options: Pet Plate, Ollie, Nom Nom, Pet's Table, Spot and Tango, Sundays, We Feed Raw [they now have freeze dried raw. Pooty and Ebby love it], etc...). All have cheaper options and actual customer service.

First order was a hit! My old girl devours her wet food; even used as a topper, she usually eats all of her kibble, too. So far I am pleased with everything about Butcherbox for Pets.

GREAT food, dogs love it, cannot get anyone to answer an email and there is NO PHONE NUMBER listed. I even called butcher box where we get our meat and they said they are completely unrelated except by name. I have been emailing for over 5 days and so now I am leaving a review because maybe someone will respond. first order was great second order MIA and no one responds, Will be sad to cancel but I will if I cannot get some help

Ollie is a “take it or leave it” kind of dog. He really takes this food!! He eats it right up!!

Easy to order and my dogs devour it! They’re picky eaters so this is huge. I love the no hormones or antibiotics etc…

The experience in finding what is right and also my pup loves and will eat was so simple. The product has shown a large improvement in Lady's health she doesn't scoot nor itch like she was prior to her Butcher box for dogs.

Adopted a new puppy 3 months old, and she wouldn’t eat any of the puppy food from the store, tried, Wellness, Purina one, puppy chow, she didn’t like any of them. i order butcher box trial because we use their services for our meats and I know their quality is excellent. From the first cup of food, our puppy ate every morsel

I have very spoiled dogs who have routinely been fed fresh dog food (mixed with kibble). I tried BB on a whim, and it has been well-received. I purchased both the kibble and the slow cooked meals, and they have gotten great reviews from my crew.

We got the slow cooked food variety pack trial from BB Pets and my dog loves it! She is a very picky eater and won't eat dry kibble on its own. We've tried different things for toppers, but she either wasn't interested or they bothered her stomach. She didn't hesitate to eat this and has been asking for dinner - last night she basically stood in her bowl! It's very expensive and that does make me hesitate to do a subscription but finding something she likes and her body likes is a relief. I've considered making her food myself but knowing she is getting a balanced meal is better.

Mocha loves her but her box food and treats - I noticed that she no longer has skin irritations when she uses but her box food . I highly recommend the switch over to Butcher Box!
