Appalling behaviour from owners

Upon arrival at the centre, my partner was courteous and asked if it would be okay to store his personal gun case on a bench inside, which he was told would not be a problem. However, things took a negative turn when he harmlessly shot his friend when walking out to the game and was subsequently pulled aside by the owner and issued a warning. This interaction led to my partner to offering feedback about the poor delivery of the safety brief and expressing concern over the fact that there were children running around in the safe zone with loaded guns and shooting during the brief — a safety issue that was not adequately addressed. Instead of accepting this constructive criticism, the owner appeared to take offense and seemed to target my partner for the rest of the day.
Later, during a break, my partner returned to the building to safely store his personal airsoft gun back in its case. He was concerned about leaving his £1500 gun mixed in with the hire equipment, but when he tried to store it, the owner objected, despite a previous confirmation that it was acceptable. During this exchange, the owner was overheard referring to my partner as a “f***ing ****hole.”
When my partner later expressed his frustration to the owner's wife serving food, using similar language in return, he was called a “sad sad man” for bringing his own airsoft gun to an airsoft site, and was further belittled with comments suggesting he thought he was “the big I am” because of he bought his own equipment. This behaviour was completely uncalled for and demeaning.
The situation escalated when my partner was told he needed to leave the premises. As he was preparing to leave, he attempted to clear the air with the owner's wife and explain the situation, asking to discuss the matter like adults. Unfortunately, this led to further tension, and my partner was threatened with police involvement for leaving the site — though there were no grounds for such an action.

Amazing Experience

The Quad Biking was so much fun.

Our instructor Steve was amazing throughout the whole experience and worked with a member of our group that was less confident to build up their confidence to give it a go. Everyone was included.

Highly recommend the activity and the centre.

Didn't try paintballing here myself but saw a group having a go. The area where you play looks amazing with the props they have. Definitely better looking than some places I have been to before.

Will be back at some point. :)

Don't even bother!

I booked a session for a birthday party only to find out they no longer take full day bookings and can only offer 90 minutes of playing time.

I made the booking on SATURDAY and requested a refund MONDAY, surely that's ample notice giving that the event is not for three weeks. They were unable to offer that service, SO they have charged me £80+ for a non-refundable booking which is unclear throughout the shoddily built website.

When I called customer services I was met a dodgy connection with a scripted response with no apology or human touch. Its a massive shame as I have enjoyed many experience's here when they offered full day fees! Go somewhere else is my advice.

Great instructors and a range of activities.

Fantastic team of instructors and a good range of activities.
Very accommodating for people with disabilities -great attitudes!
Went with a group from Sportability and had fun with the quadbikes and claypigeon shooting.
Access is improving all the time.
The only reason it misses out on the full 5 stars is because the site is still a bit tricky to get about in a wheelchair.
Will definitely go back again.

I came here as part of the charity…

I came here as part of the charity Sportability- helping people with Spinal Cord injuries enjoy outdoor activities. The guys here are great, and hearing from people who have done it before with the group have continued to upgrade their facilities so all abilities can enjoy the experience. Just recently they put in a tarmac path which leads down to the clay pigeon area which will make all the difference next time a wheelchair user goes, they really made our experience a great one by being inclusive to all our differing abilities.... great job guys
