Internet outage.

On July 5th our neighbor contacted us at about 6:30pm to ask if we had internet. We weren't home at the time and they had just gotten home, so we don't know when it went out. The main problem was we couldn't call Customer Service to find out what was going on because it was after hours. The online chat wasn't any help either. We had no internet until about 11am on July 6th. No reason was sent to anyone what happened. Are we getting any kind of credit on our bill?

Internet good; user experience bad

Connection is spotty every now and then. Within first week had to do a full restart. My biggest gripe is their desktop and mobile app user experience. It is an absolute POS. The internet quality is the only redeeming aspect of Brightspeed.

No working internet

Was doing your 30 day trial. And the last day and a half have not been able to use. If I was paying for it I would be very upset. Please CANCEL my Internet services. Thankyou.

Moving the optical cable 6 feet myself..

The day the cable was installed, it was so hot, it was not feasible to properly route the cable as that would involve working in the attic. I understood and ask the installer if I could reroute the cable when the weather was cooler. It made sense to him. So, my question is, since the move involves moving the cable less than 6 feet, can I unplug the optical cable from the modem and move the cable the 6 feet behind a wall and reinstall the optical cable to the modem myself?

The running of the cable to my house…

The running of the cable to my house was absolutely the worst I’ve ever seen in my life. They don’t have it connected to the correct street box. but instead way the hell down the street. So they could run a longer cable to make more money for themselves. When they ran it up to my house, they never called anybody to Mark previous lines. They took the longest route around my house to put the line in and cut my dog fence, electronic one. And where they put it up to my house, they broke away my downspout and my edging instead of doing it properly. They also buried at least 75 feet of cable next to my house in a hole Where they wrapped up the cable and literally stomped on it with their feet to get it into the ground to say I’m not impressed is putting it mildly. As for Jerome, who came and finished the job on the interior of the house did an excellent job. He was very professional.

Finally working better

The tech was very knowledgeable and helpful. Understood my problem and had it fixed in hardly no time. Have had lots of problems with my Internet but since Bright speed has took over it has improved. My Internet seems to be working better now than it ever has.

No phone dial for 5 days putting people at high risk.

No phone dial for 5 days, and not for the first time. A high risk situation for shut-ins and the elderly dependent on phone service. Brightspeed is systemically DEI incompetent. Ditto is infected with a total disregard and indifference towards customers. There are no Brightspeed facility connections available in my area, nor is there an ability to make contact with local tech crews. Brightspeed's worthless internet chat "Help" repeatedly gave days old and inaccurate updates, concluded "No more information available", and merely instructed people to contact (by phone) its customer service. In the past Brightspeed has lost the Internet connection in my area for as long as a week, before a crew was found with the technical ability to rectify the problem. =Arrogant Brightspeed, the worst service ever. One star is far too good.
