I applied for a loan and I was approved in minutes. However, the interest rate was ridiculous! I borrowed $500 and had to pay over $2000 back. Thanks for the approval but I will never use this loan co... See more
They sent me an email saying I was pre-approved and then denied the loan. I am beginning to wonder if they are just scamming to get people's personal information to sell it on the dark web????

They getting those reparations by all means necessary
They are trying to get those reparations from all the white people but they are also taking the blacks and their own. Basically legal loan sharks. If you really need the money go ahead but honestly it’s best to pay who ever you owe in payments cause it’s not worth it. If you borrow $500 they want 3 times back. No thank you I rather borrow from Zip or thru Chime.

Illegal Loan in Illinois – 699% APR & They Still Demand More
Bright Lending issued me a $700 loan at 699.96% APR while I was living in Illinois, where any APR over 36% is illegal and void under the Predatory Loan Prevention Act (815 ILCS 123).
I’ve already paid $344.46, and instead of acknowledging the loan’s illegality, they’re now demanding I pay the rest of the “principal” as a so-called courtesy offer.
This isn’t customer service—it’s a predatory business model operating outside the law. If you’re in a protected state, you do NOT owe them anything.
I’ve reported this to the Illinois Attorney General and encourage others to do the same. Companies like this need to be shut down.

Beware of Outrageous Loan Repayment Terms
For a $950 loan, this company requires 20 minimum payments of $233 bi-weekly, totaling $4,660. I understand that we all have financial needs, but I hope people take the time to realize how much more they’ll end up paying before accepting. HORRIBLE COMPANY.

New Definition to Loan Sharks
This company keeps changing their company ID within the banking system to get around stop payments with your bank. I had to contact national debt relief to get help. They took on bright lending as one of the credits they’re gonna help me with. I put on a stop pay request before the payment even posted, but because this company is greedy asf, they decided to change the internal company ID, which then went around the stop payment. I’m so angry. This payment overdrafted my account. By hundreds of dollars. And they did not care. Do not ever use this company. EVER. They’re rude, useless, and predatory.

What an F ing joke this company is
What an F ing joke this company is. Stay far away from using them. They tried to tell me my bank account was invalid because the bank cuts off the last 3 numbers on the account from the bank statements. You're all a bunch of people who have a brain made out of stupidity. Read the information in front of you before you speak and make yourself look stupid.

So I can't give you a zero
So I can't give you a zero. I paid back a loan in full and I thought it was a good idea to do it again which I paid back the second loan . So I went to check the app and it stated that I owe more money on the first loan . So I called and they said I paid out without making arrangements for a payout. So I still owe the interest fee. No they took extra money out of my account and had to put it back after speaking with the bank.
They still insist that I owe them on the first loan. They get a big ZERO

I would give them zero if I could
I would give them zero if I could! I do not recommend ANYONE go through them, or other companies like them. You'll get yourself in trouble.
I was irresponsible and ran up some credit card bills. Nothing that I couldn't pay off, I just hated having to pay three different bills at three different times during the month. So, I thought if I could get a loan big enough to pay off all three credit card bills, I would have one payment a month. That was the plan. However, getting someone to give me a loan is a different story. I do not have the best of credit because of my stupid decision so banks and credit unions were not willing to work with me. So, I was hoping that maybe a short term like loan might be able to help, with at least two of the bills (they are not big bills). In the past I have used another company, but could never get anymore than 1000, with a bi-weekly payment of no more than 60 dollars. I believe when all is said and done I pay back a little over 2500 dollars.
So, I started looking around at other places and came across Brightlending who said I was approved for a whole 600 dollars, with a bi-weekly payment of like 138 dollars for 20 payments! WHAT? The other company gave me twice as much with a payment that was half the payment! I would have ended up paying them back over 3000's dollar for 600 dollars. I was hoping to get help getting out of debt, not getting in more debt. Anyone who thinks that's a good deal, is in desperation. or not very smart.
These business can be very helpful but they are not. Instead they prey on those who need help and robs them of their hard earned money that they do not have, which is why they turned to getting short term loans. And I'm hoping some day in the future the government steps in and puts a cap to how much interests these company can charge cause 133% should be illegal. Actually, the government should not only step in and put at cap at like 19% across the board but also allow an action lawsuit for all of us who have been screwed by companies like this.

Dim the light on predatory lenders like BrightLending
Save yourself the financial headache do not borrow from them, they are predatory lenders and with ridiculous rates. I borrowed $300 and noticed that not many of the payments I made were not being distributed toward the principal and only toward the interest, mind you I missed a payment, and the amount they put that I owed was double the actual loan amount, I borrowed, when I requested information on how the payments were being directed, they ignored my request. Please report this company to the Attorney General's office, CFPB, and FTC, the more these companies we report, the less likely these companies will exist and take advantage of consumers like us.

Very preditory and worth reporting them to FTC. They tried to approve me for $950 today with the pay back being 21 payments of $245. So they want over 5 grand paid back for 950. Never ever seen one this bad. I am currently in the middle of filing a report on this company.

Complete SCAM! DO NOT APPLY!!!!!!!
Started getting unrelated spam/scam text messages as soon as filled out application. Company needs to be banned from doing business off Tribal Lands. They are nothing more than con artists preying on people during thier time of need. They expect people to provide them with your Bank name, routing number AND account number before you are even approved. I used a prepaid card account info, no way Im letting these scammers get my true bank info.
I traced the first scam text as far as I could and it originated outside of the USA, so they either are affiliated with outside of the country scammers or are selling our info to them. If yiu get any mail from them carefully tape it closed put return to sender and put in a mailbox.
Spread the word, don't let your friends or family get conned by these criminals. They are no different than a pick pocket who would steal your wallet. They hide behind being Tribal and on reservation land and use this to their advantage to con people when they are at their most vulnerable! Ridiculous!
