Execrable Customer Service/NO QC check before shipping

Ordered the URBAN SKELETON(STEEL)- 3-Hand Hi-beat(28,800 bph), and right out of the box the watch did not work.Contacted customer service and my nightmare started since then and yet to be resolved. No matter how many times you reach out to them, you only get one response per day ( M-F only), and that also from only one person "Phoebe". Looks like it's a one person customer service and he/she gives a aggressive response for queries. Going to work with my financial institution for refund. No More Boderry for me.

The watch is fabulous

Service was exceptional. The watch arrived in perfect condition and in excellent time. The watch is fabulous. I put it on a Bund strap and I think it looks perfect on it. With the sapphire crystal, screw -down onion crown, 100m of water resistance, and a titanium case construction, it makes the perfect field watch!

I was impressed by the Boderry watch

I’m very impressed with not only the design, but the fit and finish of the HOU watch. The dial and hands are very classy, with a retro feel, and the exhibition case back displays a beautifully finished movement. As for the leather strap, it is one of the most comfortable OEM straps I’ve experienced. The leather is supple, substantial and wonderfully finished. Even the buckle seems to be of original design.

Phenomenal piece!

Phenomenal piece! Best Boderry dress watch to date imho. Beautiful color, stunning handset, and a nicely decorated custom rotor displayed on the exhibition case back. Great proportions. I'm almost always an early bird/early adopter so great value for money!

200m diver watch flooded after handwashing – Boderry refuses free repair

I was thrilled with this beautiful watch, but...
I purchased the Boderry Seaturtle Ocean Titanium Diver Watch (200m water-resistant), but it suffered water ingress during normal handwashing, resulting in condensation under the glass.
Despite acknowledging the defect, Boderry:
Refuses to cover shipping costs to China for repairs, violating EU Consumer Law (Directive 2019/771).
Claims their "global warranty" overrides EU rights (false: sellers must cover return shipping for defective goods).
I provided photo evidence and cited legal requirements, but they ignored my requests.
Avoid if you expect warranty compliance!

Ho acquistato l’orologio Boderry Seaturtle Ocean Titanium (WR 200 metri), ma ha subito infiltrazioni d’acqua durante un banale lavaggio delle mani, con condensa sotto il vetro.
Nonostante abbia ammesso il difetto, Boderry:
Si rifiuta di pagare la spedizione in Cina per la riparazione (€45-50), violando la legge europea (Direttiva 2019/771).
Afferma che la loro "garanzia globale" prevale sul diritto UE (falso: i venditori devono coprire i resi per prodotti difettosi).
Ho fornito foto e riferimenti legali, ma hanno ignorato le mie richieste. Sconsiglio a chi vuole tutele serie!

POOR WATCH AWFUL CUSTOMER CARE

POOR WATCH AWFUL CUSTOMER CARE. Watch kept stopping after a few weeks but they wouldn't send a replacement as over a month - it was Christmas New year Chinese new year! Then they wanted me to post it to China and I refused, Then they agreed to send another but I had to post my faulty one to a residential flat in London(!) when I did so they then said they wouldn't send a new watch as they had promised. Liars selling crap watches PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Buyer beware

I bought a Boderry Voyageur watch in August 2023. It was late to arrive and within 4 months I had to send it back to China at my own expense for repair as it was losing time progressively. It was returned repaired 2 months later and now 8 months from that repair, it has started to lose time again. The watch looks good and robust but is unreliable and customer services are poor.

I highly recommend it

I have to agree with what everyone else is saying. I'm an avid watch collector and to get a watch with 100m water resistance, a titanium case and bracelet, a sapphire crystal, with an automatic movement at this price is completely insane. This is the best offering I have ever seen, based on the price and the quality of the build. I highly recommend it.

Lovely watch

Lovely watch. As for the stuttering second hand, it is a quirk of all watches with a indirect drive of the second hand. I have an Omega that does this, it's just as accurate and in no way effects the watches timing.If you want something that is really accurate buy a quartz watch, but that would be missing the point of owning a mechanical watch. Yes perhaps they could standardized the movement and just use Seiko NH movements but different is good.For the money I haven't come across such a well made timepiece.

Purchased Voyager Titanium Auto watch…

Purchased Voyager Titanium Auto watch last Nov 2023, having trouble with watch losing 3-4 minutes every week. I have to adjust manually. Wrote to Customer Care 3 times, left my email, no reply. Called their 317 number twice, left a message and phone number, still no call back. Where is their Customer Service?

Very nice timepiece for the money spent

Very nice timepiece for the money spent. I don't know of any other full Titanium GMT available at this price point. Can't go wrong with the Seiko NH34 Movement. The only feature I would like to see added to this package is a micro adjustment for the bracelet...but this is a nit-pick as the bracelet is otherwise very comfortable on the wrist. Thanks Boderry!

Watch with excellent value for money

Truly impressed. My first watch that doesn’t come from an established brand. Amazing finish. Scratch resistant. I put on a tapered rubber watch band as the 22mm strap makes the watch too bulky for my taste. I wish Boderry would offer such a slimming watch band as it’s impossible to find one where the clasp finish matches the watch case. Very happy with the watch- highly recommended.

A beautiful watch

The FKM rubber strap is smooth on the wrist and feels high quality. The “Turtles” have a fabulous dial design and great lume. The mix of colour of dial, hands, indices and case is well matched and classy. A beautiful watch!

The watch is excellent in quality

The watch is excellent in quality, and in apparance as well. The titanium casing makes it fairly light, and very comfortable. The pins in the metal strap was a little bit stiff, but it doesen't caused any problem durimg the adjusment.
Overall I like it a lot.

I love this watch

I really love this watch. So well done and super light. I love the additional strap, and love that the keepers are titanium and it's signed too! Can't say enough great things about Boderry and the watches they make. I also have the Admiral GMT. Keep it up Boderry and I'll keep buying!

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Their website stated will ship in 48 hrs. 21 days , and 3 un-responded emails later, they send me a message that my order shipped. 7 days later it still shows the couriers has not receive the package. What a joke of a company. Ali Express is much better. They ship with a couple of day and your package arrived in about 10 days.

Boderry Buyer Beware — when seeking a refund

I should preface this complaint by pointing out that I have purchased five watches from this company, previous to the disaster surrounding my sixth purchase and I have been pleased with every aspect of these experiences.
I ordered a new model in July, 2024. They did not indicate on the site that the watch was not ready to ship. Two months later, the watch arrived in-country. However, the customs policy in my country of residence changed during the period I waited for the watch to ship. As a result, the watch did not clear customs. After many emails back and forth with customer support, I was instructed to return the watch and await a refund.
It seems that when watches are returned to Boderry for a refund, the company abandons the watch in customs at their end, The tracking information for the return showed that it was in the care of Singapore Post for more than a month, with no activity, or progress. When I emailed support@boderry, I was informed that Singapore Post was going to destroy the package and that I would not receive a refund because Boderry did not receive the watch. The procedure to destroy an unclaimed package in customs is common. This seems to be a calculated tactic on the part of Boderry since they already have the customer's money and could care less what happens to the merchandise — even when they have invited the return of the watch.
I have initiated a complaint with CARE, a firm dealing with trade rights in Singapore, given that Singapore Post was the carrier. I am also going to initiate communication through legal representation with Boderry, in Guangzhou, as well. It is unacceptable to simply take a customer's money when a refund is requested. I should also point out that a 30-day refund limit is laughable when the watches very often do not even ship within that time frame. And if they do ship, many countries have rather slow customs clearance and thus delay the final leg of delivery sufficient to render any refund within the 30 days of purchase unlikely.
One effort that must be achieved is to impress upon Chinese companies doing international export business is that a standard of consumer protection must be followed and enforced.

Poor Communication

Very poor customer service and response time. After waiting a month for tracking information, I finally canceled the order. After three times contacting them and getting a canned "sorry for the delay" response, they finally admitted the watch my son wanted was out of stock and they couldn't give me a ship date. They did process the refund immediately, still waiting for it to show up in my PayPal account. (The only reason I gave the second star). Kind of happy it happened this way, because after reading comments on their FB page, the quality of the items isn't the greatest.
