My experience with David at Blu Spirit has been nothing short of a nightmare. In March 2025, we agreed on a contract for the transportation of my vehicle from California to New York. I paid the full amount of $2,650 upfront, with the agreed pick-up window set between April 1st–3rd.
However, the transporter never arrived during that window. David then informed me the pick-up would be delayed until April 4th and requested an additional $900, bringing the total to $3,550. Although I disagreed with this unexpected increase, I still approved the change as I urgently needed my vehicle shipped.
Then came another delay—to April 7th. Again, I was left with no choice but to trust his word. But on the 7th, David contacted me yet again, now saying the rate had gone up to $4,400. At this point, I was beyond frustrated. I had booked this transport over a month in advance, paid in full, and upheld my end of the agreement—yet David kept changing both the timeline and the pricing.
At that point, I decided to seek alternatives and found another option. I contacted David to cancel the transport due to his repeated delays and breach of the original agreement. According to the contract, a $250 cancellation fee would apply only if cancelled within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup. Since the pickup was already 4–5 days late, I was well within my rights to cancel without that fee.
Despite this, David refused to issue a full refund. He stated via email that only $1,000 would be returned, and he would keep $1,650—far beyond the agreed cancellation fee. This is completely unjustified and feels like a clear attempt to exploit the situation by adding terms and fees after the cancellation.
This has been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. David has been unprofessional, unreliable, and dishonest throughout the entire process. I’m now fighting to get my money back and want to warn others so they don't go through the same.
